Absolutely loved our experience at Mantra Raj Thai. The food was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we tried was delicious, with the perfect balance of spices and authentic Thai flavors.
The service was warm and welcoming, and the whole restaurant had such a lovely, inviting atmosphere. You can truly tell that a lot of care goes into both the food and the experience.

Mantra Raja is a beautiful and inviting Thai restaurant in Carlsbad. The atmosphere is peaceful, lovely, and relaxing, with a warm and welcoming staff. The restaurant is unpretentious, comfortable, and not in a busy area, with plenty of parking. It is an alcohol-free facility, and the botanical drinks have floral notes.
The food is incredibly flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared, with a perfect balance of spices and authentic Thai flavors. The meats are tender, and the sauces and soup have depth of flavors. The drunken noodles have great texture and savory heat, the fried rice is well-balanced, and the rich, comforting coconut curry broth on the khao soi hits the spot. The cream cheese rangoons are delicious, and the orange chicken is excellent. The Thai iced tea is also great. The Chu Chee Salmon and Mixed Vegetable Stir Fry are highly recommended. The portions are large and packed with flavor, offering incredible value. It is a reliable, neighborhood Thai spot for regular weeknight takeout or a relaxed dine-in meal. Highly recommended.
