“It’s legit Texas style BBQ. Their brisket is amazing and their beans are superb. The last time I went there, they had smoked meatballs which were amazing. Side note: a shoutout to the people in charge of the playlist there: I’ve been there 3 times already and always a good selection ?”

“Shrimp tacos were our favorite. Also, we really like the Beria and the fried fish We also loved the nachos and even better was the drink of the day which was pineapple Fresca so, so good. Service was very good. I think our server was Alicia, but I could have the name wrong. She was a young girl,and she was very wonderful and she had her hair in a bun. The only thing that could possibly improve is having may be a little less spicy salsa or pico for the people who don’t like too much spice. Wonderful seafood, can’t wait to try more dishes.”

“Happened upon this place by chance while looking for vegetarian/vegan options and all I can say is that it did not disappoint at all!!! The food was so good! Every single dish that my husband and I tried ( he’s not vegetarian/vegan) was incredible, we had the dips with bread and veggies and I had the fried eggplant and the falafel while hubby had the beef kebabs and we ended with coffee and sticky toffee pudding (yum) we now have a new place to go for future lunches and dinners. It was THAT GOOD! Service was great, our waiter was Knowledgeable and attentive.. we really enjoyed it ( can’t you tell ha) and will be returning soon!”

“What a gem! We had a fantastic lunch at Trevor’s. The two kids dining with us were happy with the choices on the kids menu. I had the addictively good ahi poke nachos—which I’m still thinking about, and a lovely glass of chenin blanc. The patio is the perfect sunny day hangout. Highly recommend.”

We drive a bit from Irvine to get to his restaurant but it is well worth the drive as the food is really spectacular, my husband loves their mole dish and I love their chili relleno. “Sun-dried tomatoes has an amazing catering service that is reasonably priced for the high-quality food that they serve. I have used their services 3 occasions. recently, I picked up several items to serve on Easter Sunday for 20 people that we're gonna be at my house. The favorites were the chopped salad, the traditional, deviled eggs, the espresso brownies, and the other fancier salad that had berries in it. Everything was great, and the woman who helped me decide what to get, was incredibly pleasant and professional as she gave me great advice about what to order. The braised beef is the only thing that I might not get again becauseit might not have been enough all by itself to serve 20 people. We had also gotten sliced turkey breast from honeybaked ham, so it was a nice mixture. Try them out.”

“Ordered an assortment of bbq for a family meal — 1 lb of Tri tip, pulled pork, whole chicken, bbq beans, potato salad, coke slaw and bbq sauce. Their ordering system said to pull up at 11 and staff would bring it out but they hadn’t even started our order at 11 and we had to lug the food ourselves. (So much for the tip I included). Food was succulent and moist with an intense Smokey flavor. Good tasting but very pricey”

“After a day of bar hopping at the Swallows Parade, I stumbled upon this gem. Craving carbs, this place delivered exactly what I needed! The food was incredibly flavorful, hitting the spot just right. Despite its location along the main road, parking was surprisingly easy to find. The staff was fantastic, especially dealing with a crowd of tipsy customers. The outdoor area was a pleasant surprise--clean and inviting. A great spot to refuel after a fun-filled day!”

“This place was unknown to me until yesterday, and I'm so stoked that we came across it while out shopping. The restaurant was nearly full, but we were fortunate to get a nice table, and we were greeted, served promptly, and the menu was packed with traditional dishes, all of which sounded awesome. But as is my way in a new restaurant, I went right for one of the most difficult dishes to execute....the manicotti :)While I fully expected to be underwhelmed, when it was brought to the table, I was immediately surprised (pleasantly) rather than using manicotti pasta shells, the chef had given it a twist, using a scratch made crepe as the shell to hold the delicious ricotta parmesan blend. I could instantly tell the marinara was handmade, adorned with a beautiful fresh cut chiffonade of basil sprinkled over the sauce and plate. The smell was amazing. And then, the first bite.....omg! The balance, the fresh ingredients, bright marinara sauce, creamy ricotta, fresh basil, absolutely amazing and delicate. It was a 10 out of 10.My wife ordered the italian sub, panini style. It was also packed with beautiful fresh cold cuts, tomato and cheese, perfectly pressed and warmed. Delicious! It isn't often that you encounter someone in the kitchen that truly knows what they're doing, but Sebastian blew us away with his approach to Italian/Sicilian dishes. He is absolutely a master chef.I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone. Can't wait to go back. I was told by our server that the Tiramisu is a family recipe, and on a scale of 1-10, it's a 100. Definitely on my list for next time. :))”

“Did I just land in Mumbai? Basanti is as real as it gets. My local hangout and could eat here everyday - sometimes hitting this place up 3-4x per week (I’m not the only one - the number of Uber Eats guys who show up at dinner time is insane and at times, I’m the odd one out in a restaurant full of Mubaians). This place holds it own in a smaller community with no shortage of restaurants and located on the other side of the railroad tracks, literally, where many tourists venture/land given the train station and location of Mission SanJuan. Everything cooked to order (love that I can hang with the locals - authentic staff - and handle the same, if not more spice then they especially for a white chick from the Midwest) including no spice for little people, like my twin grandkids who devour the buttered naan and tandoori chick. The owner, first generation (I think) and the nicest most humble guy (he recognized me at another San Juan hangout then bought my glass of wine) just wants you to have the most pleasurable dining experience enjoying cuisine he’s passionate about. My favs: buttered naan, roasted beet salad, lentil soup, and chicken korma, extra spice. The world’s a big place so get out there…or at least venture to the other side of the train tracks or even stay home (#ubereats) and reap the same benefits of good food and good company!”

“First time here, and WOW, the food is delicious!! I have a feeling that everything on the menu is fantastic. I appreciate the free bread (a lot of restaurants make you ask or even charge these days). Some improvements to be made: 1. Some artwork on the walls. This spot is so cute. I love the chairs on the patio and I think there's so much potential with just a few small touches. 2. The flies. I really don't understand the flies out front and the few inside. Maybe they know how good the food is too?? Maybe a couple small fly traps would be beneficial. Either way, I'll still be back regardless, but just wanted to add my two cents, whatever it's worth. Last thing to add, our server was very kind and competent. She was alone and managing a few large parties, and yet we barely had to wait and she was very attentive. Thank you for great food and wonderful service!”

“What an awesome venue. David and Joe took very good care of my group. I brought 48 people up from San Diego for a viewing of Top Gun. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The food was great and the atmosphere was just incredible. I love the nostalgia behind Rick's cafe and the theater was not only comfortable but absolutely gorgeous. Might people are raving about their visit. I would like to thank David and joe, and the rest of the staff at regency theater. You made our day trip perfect.PS. “Best Mexican food we've had in Orange County in years! Fresh just right chunky guacamole with fresh chips. Light chiles rellenos to die for, scrumptious large shrimp green enchiladas, tortilla soup thick with chicken and full of flavor and red enchiladas redolent with luscious taste of mole.
