“Second visit to Limoncello and want to say the food is excellent in every way. Last night I had Arugula salad (very lemony dressing), the Risotto (outstanding) and chocolate gelato which was VERY chocolate. Topped with a nice wine. All Excellent. As for atmosphere, lots of large parties there last night celebrating Christmas and birthdays so was quite noisy, but 'tis the season. Highly recommend Limoncello. Food and service are excellent and above average. Menu is extensive with very different and interesting options. If they would have served a shot of Limoncello after dinner I would have thought I was dining in Italy.”

“I walk in to fragrant Indian spices. My mouth immediately starts to water. The appetizer comes out Some kind of vegetable dumpling my son ordered. One bite dipped in an incredible mint curry sauce and I'm in Nirvanna. It only gets better from there... SO GOOD!”

Enjoyed a few items off the Happy Hour Menu. $34 before tax for the Pear & Brie Skillet melt, seasoned olives, and a slice of Key Lime pie. I would pass on the skillet melt next time, did absolutely love the toasted focaccia it came with. Next time I would try the Spinach Artichoke Dip. I sat solo at the bar, several average size groups were at the other end of the bar area.”

“This is a historic location (a favorite of President Nixon & wife Pat-there's even a table with their photos on the wall above it), and a great ambience. It can be very noisy with the open rooms all connecting. I always enjoy the food and how quickly it comes.”

“The definition of a local hole in the wall, one-man show. Tim is cranking out orders and still has the sweetness to chat with his customers. Breakfast sandwich is delicious and just the right portion. Coffee is rich, strong, and not bitter. This is what coffee shops should be—local, intimate, quaint, and friendly. Props to Tim for supporting local law enforcement.

“Hidden House SJC is located in the historic Los Rios District—California's oldest continuously occupied neighborhood. This location, near the train station and a short walk from the Mission, boasts beautiful surroundings to enjoy while sipping your coffee. Unless you arrive early, expect a wait, as the line generally extends out the door on weekends. The service is consistently very good and friendly.

​My only disappointment is that they stopped offering pour-overs at this location. It’s a bummer for those who appreciate the clarity of a manual brew, as their standard drip is decent but roasted much darker than I prefer.”

“First, time being here and everything was fantastic! My wife and I went for our anniversary. Great dinner all around. I had the Fusilloni with whole roasted garlic, bell peppers, onions, Italian sausage, and a tomato cream sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sausage had great flavor, and the roasted garlic really brought everything together without overpowering the dish. My wife had the Branzino with cherry tomatoes, olive tapenade, and grilled vegetables. The fish was fresh, flaky, and cooked beautifully, and the vegetables were a perfect complement. Excellent service and a meal we'll definitely come back for.”

“Best pizza I have ever had! The crust was absolutely delicious and had the best crunch, the dough wasn’t doughy at all and was so, so delicious. You can tell they’re using very high quality, fresh ingredients and the flavor profiles he built for these pizzas are so good! The wowie sauce added even more flavor and somehow made a perfect pizza even better!
The ordering process may be slightly unconventional but it is EXTREMELY SIMPLE. You’re literally given step by step instructions on how to order and it couldn’t be easier.
My Mom picked up our order and couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful her experience was and how much she enjoyed the owner.

Copious amounts of free ice water was much appreciated. Cheap well drinks.”

“Excellent place to eat/ snack/ drink/ dessert, relax, hang out, shop, or people watch at various hours of the day. Many choices to select from. Lovely views, enjoyable ambience, and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Nice areas to walk around. There are restrooms. Depending on what you order you can spend anywhere from a few dollars to plenty more. It can get busy and wait times certainly vary from a few minutes to almost 30 minutes. Good place for all ages and groups.”

“We came for lunch right after visiting the mission. It was right across the street and we wanted to try a different lunch spot. The food was great. We ordered steak and shrimp and a Shepards pie and calamari as an appetizer. The drinks were great and we enjoyed some music from the patio. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back. The only odd thing was when our waitress came to take our order, I asked about the drink menu and was asking for recommendations and she seemed confused about my questions. She didn’t offer any suggestions and when I asked about a drink on the menu, she asked if I wanted a shot of grapefruit juice.”
