“Great BBQ in San Juan Capistrano area. Meat is tender, flavorful and baby back ribs fell off the bone. we will be back each time we visit the area.“

“I didn’t smell a smoker and there isn’t a choice of sauces, but the three meat sampler we shared of brisket, smoked pulled chicken and pulled pork was quite tasty. And the fried dill pickle appetizer was one of the best we’ve had, with thinly sliced pickles and a nice coating.“

“I really like this place. I have taken friends here and they all like it. The rice bowl or sauce and the meats are really good. The potato macaroni salad and other sides and the sandwhiches. Basically anything on the menu i like. This older asia man i think might be the owner was there more around september or so i havent seen him the past couple times ive been there. He is very friendly and personable. One of the cashiers the past couple times is good but he needs to stop wearing earbuds unless its for a hearing reason. He seems disinterested and always asks to repeat myself. And he is playing video games on his ipad which im not attacking but no one wants to feel like theyre interrupting the workers who are meant to provide service to them and i know this from experience since i have worked in cpunter service before. But im not trying to trash him just giving feedback. Great job guys thank you, it is the best affordable place to eat near saddleback college. Much appreciated in Jesus name.“

“The owner/chef is a nice dude with portions as big as his personality. For those unfamiliar- think home cooked “el pollo loco” if you will. His wife is the other chef and prep cook. I like simple food and the Half chicken with rice and beans is my go to since 2018. Local tip: this is a couple who’s been running the joint for over 40yrs, the husband is the only cook and sometimes his wife hopes over to help turn out meals. Sometimes the chicken is underdone when they’re super busy, but in almost 10 years I’ve maybe gotten 3 under cooked meats and when I bring it up, he cooks it more, sometimes throws in a free leg or wing and some extra guac or beans. This is as close to hole in the wall/family as it gets. For what this place is, I hope it stays Open until they retire or a son/daughter takes over. Think el pollo loco before it became mainstream, for a day I’m not feeling burgers, I love coming here and sitting on the. Lot of good fish on the menu too, makes me think Baja or south gulf. Very refreshing eats“

“Amazing authentic Chinese duck spiced perfectly. For me it was a quiet hometown environment with attractive employees. A great place to getaway for a while. I’m not sure if they were open because google said they were closed but they took care of me anyway.“

“I had a strong craving for Chinese food for dinner, so I decided to take a chance and order takeout from this place. I was pleasantly surprised; the chicken fried rice and mushroom chicken were absolutely delicious. Everything was spot on, and if you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine, this is definitely the spot. “Legit the best chicken katsu I’ve had. I’ve ordered it in a dozen places including Hawaii and have Never been impressed. I almost didn’t want to order it because I thought it’d be another disappointment... But it was everything I ever thought it should be. Juicy and crispy with a good sauce. The spam masubi was fire and all the fixin’s were good too. The pork wasn’t my thing and I regret not getting short ribs or bbq beef though.

The proportions seem authentic though lmao. A lotta food poly style for the price“
