“OK people this place is FNATASTIC!I shared the #3 plate with ribs, pulled pork and the brisket....OMG DELICIOUS!We ordered tree sides. mac n cheese, coleslaw and potatoe salad with a corn bread muffin. FLIPPN AMAZING!Thank you Jay for such a great experience!Lastly, we tried this rice sausage special and it was mind blowing!I will be a regular!“
“Diving into Korean BBQ at The District at Tustin Legacy is like hitting the culinary jackpot, but with more grilling and less slot-pulling. Imagine a place where the aroma of marinated meats sizzling on grills competes with the lively banter of friends. It's a hands-on meat fest where you're both the chef and the diner, ensuring your steak is cooked just right—or hilariously wrong if you're a grilling newbie. With a side of kimchi and a dash of humor, this spot transforms dinner into an edible comedy show. And with the all-you-can-eat option, it's like an endless loop of delicious déjà vu. Perfect for meat lovers with a penchant for puns and a robust appetite!“
“First timer and was very pleased with the quality and diversity of the meats and side offerings. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed an unusually long and well respected 3 hour meal with family members we haven't seen in quite a while. Never felt rushed to exit and service was exceptional -- have been in very high end restaurants where server timing was not as good. At Shinobu, service seemed spot on, always available but not intrusive and we never felt rushed even with the 90 minute AYCE reality. Very much plan to come back even though we live an hour away.“
“SOO YUMMY!! I absolutely love this place and always get the #3 combo - they never miss! The soup always hits the right spot on a rainy day and the pork short rib tastes so good with all the sides. The banchan here is probably the best in the area and the restaurant is so cute. I like the fish cake and kimchi the most here. At times it could take a while to order but it's totally worth it for the food!“
“Been on my radar for a minute the reviews I've read we're all spot on . This might arguably be the best bbq in so cal . Top to bottom delicious, savory , sweet , spicy, smoky , and full of flavor . They sell oit quick and rightfully so as it's one of the best gems in all of o.c.“
“Aloha from Hawaii. Best Japanese yakiniku restaurant in Oc. Never disappointed. You will probably wait 1 hour for a seat however it is worth it. They don’t take reservations. The freshest meats and produce money can buy. Service is excellent and the staff is super friendly.“
“Foodie living in Irvine for 6 years. I've gone to many barbecue places including both Japanese and Korean. But this place always has a special place in my heart Our go-to Korean barbecue in OC!!! We love it because the beef is so fresh. Their Kimchi soup is the best. Everything is so clean and not greasy at all! Highly recommend it! Service is amazing too! Feel very welcomed.“
“Needed a last minute catering service. Service for 40 guests. Gave Santa Maria BBQ a call. Never used them before. They were great. Paul came in and got everything set up. The food was awesome. We had the brisket, chicken, and ribs with all the sides. Everyone was very happy and satisfied. Will be using again.“
“The cashier there , is always there .He has such a positive attitude even though he works all the time . Iv been going there for 6 years. Iv never had a different cashier . Great dude! . The food has never ever disappointed me or my family. The cooks do a fantastic job keeping the favors the same. I hate going somewhere and some day the food is different. Thank you all for what you do, Stephanie, Freddy, kelley, and baby Guillermo. We all get extra Mac salad !“
“We come here regularly and the food and service is always fantastic! I don't know what magic they perform in the "barrels" but the chicken is always juicy, tender and flavorful! In fact, it's the only place where I'll eat breast meat since it's typically too dry, but they really nail it here! And the rest of the barbecue is fantastic too. It's the best meal on Main Street even though they're off Main by roughly a half a block but who's counting!“
“I ordered the Honey Sesame Katsu Plate online and it was ready in 5 minutes - the fastest response I've ever had for online ordering! The Katsu is quality & crispy, the macaroni salad is a unique twist on the usual Hawaiian macaroni salad. Personally, I find it a little bland in comparison to traditional recipes, almost like it's missing the vinegar? The Katsu honey sesame sauce was the opposite - a flavor explosion that I loved that will keep me coming back. I do wish there was more variation in the menu options, specifically for seafood (I also saw shrimp pictures that currently isn't available in the online menu?).“
“Meat quality is so damn delicious! The Short rib and skirt steak were our faves, we also tried the A5 wagyu and it was melt in your mouth delicious as well. Don't skip on the cartilage and sausage, if you're looking for great pairings to go with your beer. The Yukhae (raw beef dish) was super delicious and I'm not a raw beef person in general. I would definitely order that again though. Get here early, about 15min before they open to avoid the lines. It's a small restaurant with mostly 4-tops , I saw maybe 1 table that could accommodate a party of 8-10 max, so if you have a larger party be prepared to sit separately. The service is great, they were on point with water refills and checking to see if we wanted to order any additional items. They have a weekday special for $67 where you can try 2 of our favorite meats + their miso chicken thigh, and the veggies it comes with are minimal (1pc pumpkin, couple pieces of bell pepper, and a slice of carrot). I heard their yookaejang (spicy beef and vegetable soup) was good but we didn't try it this time. Also, don't sleep on their black sesame and yuzu ice cream!“
“Amazing barbecue. The blueberry cornbread complemented the meat well. Mac and cheese was super creamy and the coleslaw was crisp and flavorful. I loved the brisket and pulled pork.Lots of outdoor seating available during early weekday lunch. Parking lot is small. It's a very cute area to eat.“
“The wife and I tried Hole Smokes last night. We tried a couple apps and the Tray 4 Two so that we could get a few different meats to try. The fried pickles were really good with both the chipotle sauce and with ranch. I liked the chipotle better. The honey glazed burnt ends were ok- very tender and juicy, but lacked a bit of flavor. For the meats we had a sausage link, brisket and tritip. The link was good- wife really liked it a lot. The brisket was maybe the best we've had- very tender, juicy and some good flavor. The tritip was very good and had a beautiful smoke ring. For the sides, we tried the cornbread cake, brussel sprouts, and French fries. Was surprise that the cornbread was cold. We liked the flavor, and my wife liked the cinnamon butter (i preferred no butter, but I'm not as big a cinnamon fan as my wife). The sprouts were great and loved the glaze that was on them. The fries were really good as well. Looking forward to bringing the kids back and trying a few more things. Service was great and on top of things for refills, sauce, etc.“
“The food was the best, a bit pricey, but worth it. We were not sure if we ordered enough, we were still hungry and added more, other tables were doing the same. Had to scan the menu on or phones. We went there after 9 pm, and had to wait for a table. I would suggest making a reservation. I will be back to dine again!“
“I tried this place because I missed the flavor of Mexico City tacos DID NOT DISAPPOINT( also good place to go after a hang over) Santa Ana locations is open both Saturday and Sunday so I get to grab a bite early in the morning before work ! 10/10 recommend this place and the workers are super nice and friendly always ps the salsa roja is SUPER SPICY !“
“This place is awesome!! 5 stars wagyu beef. High quality 5 starts service. The servers here are really nice and friendly. They checked on us very often to make sure we had a good meal. They even got us a hot tea at the end after 3 of us killed a big bottle of sake“
“This place is a gem! Part of an indoor co-op. Food is bomb, fresh, and ready fast. Pricing is a little high but it is Newport so it's to be expected across the board. Service was friendly and helpful.Highly recommend them for great Hawaiian food in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa.“
“For my first visit, it was a very pleasant experience. I was seated promptly, and ordering plates was quite easy, despite never having ordered through a web browser before. One staff member did not speak English and one guy was mistaken about the parking validation of 2 hours, its only free for the first hour. They have corn tortillas, but were sold out when I was there; not that I would have ordered any in a KBBQ, but it's a nice accomodation in my opinion.Beers were nice and cold and did not have foam. The meat was also fresh and I sampled some of the seafood selections as well, those were good. The hot sauce was also excellent.“
“Very good deal for kbbq. For 29.99 my party orders mostly wagyu belly and occasionally some of their seasoned meat. Their side bar is good and kimchi stew surprisingly very nice. For a bit more you can order their premium menu which includes filet mignon and so many other high quality additions. The best part about the place is the price. It's the best place for people who just want to eat kbbq and don't need anything fancy.“
“The best tasting authentic Vietnamese foods in Southern California. From grilled pork to egg rolls to soupy dishes, each has its own unique taste and ingredients reminding one of the various street food stall in Saigon. The service is outstanding. The owner and her workers are friendly and courteous. Customers are treated as if you are family and neighbors. By the way, the free "nước mát" (herbal drink) is icing on the cake...... The ambiance is cozy ; actually too cozy for comfort to some of you because the space is small. But, create your own ambience by ordering takeouts..... The best foods for every day meal and something to brag about to your out of towner guests and friends.“
“Our visit to Ono Hawaiian BBQ left us with a delightful taste of the islands, earning this spot a solid 4-star review. Here's the breakdown of our experience:We decided to try the Chicken Katsu plate, and the flavors did not disappoint. The food was genuinely good, with each bite delivering that distinctive Hawaiian essence that we were craving. We opted to go right at opening, hoping for a swift service experience. However, there was a bit of a delay in getting our food. Patience became the order of the day, and it took quite some time for our orders to be ready. While this was a minor setback, the cashier's exceptional kindness and friendly demeanor mitigated any frustration we might have felt.Speaking of the cashier, their amiable nature stood out. They were understanding about the wait and maintained a positive attitude throughout the process. Such customer service is always appreciated and contributed to the overall positive vibe of our visit. The food, once it arrived, made the wait worthwhile. The Chicken Katsu plate was a flavorful experience, and the portion sizes were satisfying. In summary, Ono Hawaiian BBQ offers a tasty Hawaiian escape, especially with dishes like the Chicken Katsu plate. While there was a bit of a wait during our visit, the friendly cashier and the delicious food balanced the scales, earning this spot a respectable 4 stars. If you're in the mood for Hawaiian flavors, Ono Hawaiian BBQ is certainly worth a visit.“

“The lunch special here was really good. The meat was good, the small sides were good, and the drinks were good. However, one of our server guy was kind of slow. But the other server guy was much faster. So if you come here and one of the server guy is kind of slow, you know who I’m taking about.“
“The food was great. My daughter and I had a great time there. The service was excellent. The manager kelly made sure she came and greeted us and asked if we needed anything. Even though It was pretty busy that day, food and service came quickly. Will visit again! Thank “
“Ribs pulled pork and sloppy joes oh my heaven heaven heaven guilty pleasure this is the place for it everything is great the only thing that weird is the fact that they're only open two or three hours a day but I suggest you come in because you have been missing out if you don't know this place“
“Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ forPork Belly Barbecue (liempo)Grilled Chicken (inasal)Paired with Java rice and peanut dipping sauceThis place is clean!I have been coming back to Tony’s Barbecue in Fountain Valley and Corona because I love their food which are very similar to that of Reyes Barbecue chain in the Philippines.“
“I love the beef ribs here! All the meats are cooked excellent, I’m just not a huge fan of loads of BBQ sauce on my meat! Maybe I just need to ask for it on the side! The mashed potatoes are ridiculously good, the coleslaw, and sweet potatoes came in at a strong second place on flavor. Mac and cheese is ok and so are the roasted veggies.Overall if you want some yummy cuts of meat for a really reasonable price for tons of food, this is the place!“
“As a frequent visitor, I love their lunch menu, always pick amomg prime Kalbi short rib, beef tongue, Harami Skirt Steak, Bistro Hanger Steak, and Beef Sukiyaki Fried Rice Bowl, all of required extra pay. Not quite recommend their Filet Mignon, cut in awkward sizes. White rice bowl included in the lunch, no extra charge. Lunch is much more recommended. 2 BBQ items per person is $14.95, 3 BBQ is $18.95. Includes a bowl of miso soup and salad. You can pick no extra charge items from Angus beef, Ribeye, and more, also no extra charge on ordering Basil/Teriyaki/garlic chicken, pork, shrimp. Waiter/waitress are friendly, always welcome us with smiles.“
“Solid 4s! Food was good. My brisket came with half of it was fat.. would of liked more meat. I asked and didn't get replenished. But it's good. Baby back rib was tender.. pulled pork juicy. The egg roll appetizer definitely a must. Tennessee margarita a nice mixture .. specially that jalapeño kick. Cornbread just regular..nothing great. MacNcheese very cheesy. Delish.Service was great. Location also very nice. Good look to the beach views.“
“An absolute gem! The menu has so many great options and at a great price too! The staff is very attentive and presentable, and the welcoming atmosphere creates an enjoyable setting for dining. So happy to have found this place and will definitely be returning.“
“A definite hidden gem. If you driving through the area def get yourself some tacos and you will not be disappointed. Had the pastor and the chicken tacos and loved both but that chicken with the extra sauce, bomb. Even the Jamaica was great n refreshing. Prices were reasonable and fair. Will be out there again pretty soon.“
“We doordashed Chicken Katsu, Macaroni Salad, and Spam Musubi. They're open late at night which is pretty nice! I believe this is a ghost kitchen but they're still so delicious and give generous portions! One of my go to spots to order. Chicken Katsu (5/5): Macaroni salad is creamy and delicious, pairs well with the rice and katsu. Katsu is crispy, moist, and well seasoned. We love how much katsu comes in one box! Its enough for two people to share and still have leftovers. Spam Musubi (3/5): Spam was really soft and a bit undercooked. Lots of rice compared to spam ratio.“
“They offer a great variety of meats, and the freshness of the cuts is definitely a highlight. However, the portions for each dish seem quite large. This can be a bit daunting, especially if you want to try a few different options from the menu, as leftover food often comes at an additional cost. Despite this, the atmosphere is very family-friendly, and the service was excellent.“
“Found this place through a TikTok video. Was too lazy to go out in the rain so I placed a GrubHub delivery order. Ordered their beef rib plate. Also called Sam’s plate. 3 large beef ribs, with rice and mac salad. It was delicious! Ribs were fall off the bone tender with a pleasant light marinade. I will be back very soon. Highly recommend.“
“I am just comparing this location with the one in Irvine. I said this is 10x better. Friendlier staff. Cleaner place. And way more generous portions. The only problem I have with our order is the chicken katsu was really hard. Double fried can save a lot of time during rush and to assure crispiness. But when the store only has 2 tables seated I would expect a fresh piece of fried chicken.“
“Ordered from Kiko's on Doordash because I was a little lazy to drive the other day, so please keep in mind that my review is based off of food that had made a 15 minute journey before being eaten! When I heard a new Filipino joint was opening in Irvine, I was ecstatic! There are practically no Filipino joints in Irvine -- if you have that craving you need to drive to Lake Forest or a city more north. It's very nice to now have something in my own city to satisfy that Filipino fix when I am too lazy to cook. As a Filipino myself, I understand that Filipino food can taste extremely different depending on who cooks it. The different regions of the Philippines all cook the same dishes in different ways. Therefore, you should never expect a dish from one restaurant to taste the same at a different restaurant. I ordered the kare-kare, which is my favorite Filipino dish. Their rendition of this creamy peanut dish was pretty good, but not my favorite. The ox-tail was perfectly cooked, but the veggies were overcooked and soggy. The flavor of the sauce was delicious, however I wish they gave more sauce. I particularly didn't like the bagoong (shrimp paste). I'm not sure which kind they use, but if you have some bagoong at home (as most Filipinos do), then I'd recommend to use your own. One thing I'd like to note is that the portions are on the smaller side here. It's definitely only enough for one person, so don't expect to share one meal. However, I think the prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. I will definitely be giving Kiko's other menu items a try in the future!“
“a charming members only yacht club over looking the newport beach bay with beautiful boats of all sizes to admire. staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make sure your visit is amazing. The time we visited the club was hosting an international french themed dinner menu which was very enjoyable. definitely recommend this club on their "open house" night to see if this is something you might enjoy along with their sailing and social opportunities offered. 5 stars“
