“Our friends, Norm and Val, brought the Beef ribs, Pastrami and Brisket to a party at our house yesterday. Our guests went nuts over the food. Beef ribs are my favorite and these were great. Pastrami afficionados raved over the pastrami. Brisket was inhaled along with the New York Steaks that were also being served. We will be going to check out the restaurant and friends were already asking about a catering menu. Thanks Norm And Val for the gift of a great meal.“

“I liked the food. Everything that I expected to go wrong was the opposite. First off is the rice. As a Mexican I am very weary of going to my own cultures food restaurants because the rice is over seasoned and sometimes undercooked same with the meats. The rice here is was incredible it reminded me of my moms and it actually complemented the meat. It was also cool to see that you can also add some broth to it if it’s not “seasoned well”. Second was the meat. The meat was great and cooked/condimented well. Lechon was delicious and actually surpasses a lot of chicharron Hispanic restaurants make where it can be very dry and inedible.
In short this restaurant is a gem and the reviews saying that it was not seasoned enough or that its “bland” are most likely the same people who over season their rice and beans and give people acid reflux with their cooking. Also try the soup it is delicious.“

“Ordered several trays off their catering menu for a small birthday luau. The food was fresh and good quality. The portions were beyond what I was expecting. All the guests raved about the flavor and kept going back for more. Regardless of the price I highly recommend using this place for any party needs. Highly Satisfied.“

“Best priced KBBQ in OC as of 2026. This is the ONLY place I know of where they allow you to pay a set price regardless of what time of day or what day or the week it is. The owner is fantastic and personally checks in on you. The meat is always fresh, delicious and generously portioned. They switch around the banchan and there kpop and soju everywhere. The service is fast, friendly and it feels like ajumma worried you're not eating enough. Parking can be a little tough and lines can long during weekend dinners. Also be aware that they only accept solo diners between Monday-Thursday from 11-4.“

“Came here on a short vacation to Disney for the kiddo. My best friend is from South Korea, point of that is to say I’ve eaten a lot of shabu and kbbq. Great quality food, staff was literally grabbing the plates as they were emptied, very nice and fast. Didn’t try the shabu this time but the meat quality was worth every dollar. Highly recommend!“

“Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.“

“We were recently passing through Pasadena and boy, did Yelp come through for us when picking a place to eat! Craft by Smoke & Fire in Old Town Pasadena ended up being the perfect choice. It was a beautiful evening and we opted to sit outside. We were lucky enough to have Stephanie as our server…and also lucky to be there during happy hour – you gotta love a 2 for 1 drink special! It was hard to choose between all the craft cocktails, but we ended up ordering Lulu Lemons which were excellent! I play mixologist when entertaining at home, and when I expressed interest in recreating this drink for our friends, Stephanie was kind enough to share the recipe! The menu is full of yummy Texas-style BBQ options made from locally sourced meat, and it was hard to choose. We landed on brisket grilled cheese with a side of mac & cheese (can you have too much cheese?!) and a harvest brisket salad. Both were so delicious. The outside table area was pretty full and although she was covering a lot of tables, Stephanie was knowledgeable when guiding us through the menu, super attentive and personable to boot! We look forward to returning…and to checking out their Anaheim location as well!“

“We had such a wonderful dinner at Anjin. Everything we ordered was delicious, but my favorites were definitely the Kainomi, the Anjin Seaweed Salad, and the orange sherbet at the end.

The Kainomi was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the seaweed salad was fresh, light, and perfectly seasoned. The orange sherbet was also such a refreshing way to finish the meal.

I honestly wanted to try so many more dishes, but since there were only two of us, we could only order so much. Next time, I would love to come with a bigger group so we can try more of the menu.

We came to celebrate a very special birthday, and it made the evening even more memorable. We both left very happy and completely satisfied. Thank you for such a lovely experience!“

“My family loves this place. I came here for the umpteenth time tonight with my 85 year old Japanese mom. We had the Manpuku Traditional Omakase and we had leftovers to take home, there was so much food. All the meat (chicken shrimp and beef) all 5/5 star quality. I got the small bowl. Just the teriyaki chicken and rice. They give you a lot of chicken and big pieces too. They also have extra teriyaki sauce and hot sauce. Ohh and they have free fountain drinks between 2-4 pm. My order was to go. Love this spot.“
