Delish and worth the wait, but I'd come earlier since it took us 2.5 hrs from arrival to eating after getting there at 11:55am Sunday! Heads up - pork belly char siu is on the fattier side and brisket is on the leaner side but great flavor. Panang curry is spicier and saltier than I'd prefer, and mapo chili isn't that spicy. Kaya bread pudding and banana pudding had good flavor. I also appreciated than the chicken wasn't dry, and the slaw was dairy free and flavorful. Favorite meats were probably brisket and ribs since we couldn't get the pork belly siu yuk or gochujang beef rib today.Service and staff are really friendly, and the pit master was overwhelmed with emotions filming how long the line was before they opened since this is just the second weekend. “We're from Chicago and was staying at a hotel nearby. We ordered pork bbq and bulgogi, both were excellent choices. It's great to have both available to order from the same store. My only wish is if they could add noodles to their menu like japchae or pancit.“

They know how to manage a person's appetite by filling everyone up with delicious banchan (side dishes) so the demand on the meats (the expensive stuff) is less.The staff were very attentive and always was polite. David was primarily our server but everyone checks on everyone.The restaurant was very clean and tables are well spaced.Definitely recommend this restaurant“

“This is my go-to AYCE KBBQ spot for several reasons. It’s generally affordable for the high quality of meat. It’s not ~super high quality but I would say it’s on the higher end for an AYCE spot. They also have beef tongue, galbi, and intestines which I consider more premium items. It gets pretty busy so I would suggest putting your party’s name on the Yelp list 1-2 hours ahead of time.My only complaint is the terrible customer service. It feels pretty understaffed which causes the employees to be spread to thin / overworked. Our server takes forever to check back in with us which is not ideal for a KBBQ place where you need to order stuff frequently. Sometimes there are employees who I feel like do the bare minimum and seem like they don’t enjoy working there (don’t smile and are not very friendly).Again, this is a great kbbq spot in general but it can get very busy and service can use improvement.“
“Mulnaengmyeon was much more delicious than nonnaengmyeon. I think it was closer to regular naengmyeon rather than Pyongyang naengmyeon. One order of naengmyeon (naengmyeon) costs almost $20, so I think it's a bit expensive, but since it comes with one sari, it's almost like 1.6 servings. The ribs were delicious, but the portion was surprisingly small. Even though it was a weekday evening, I waited for over an hour to get in. When you're feeling a bit hectic, there's a Yelp waiting line, so be sure to check it out and wait.“
