We had a great experience at this BBQ restaurant! The food was delicious, fresh, and cooked perfectly. What really made our visit special was our waiter, Chae. He was so nice, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire meal. He made sure we had everything we needed, checked on us regularly, and created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel very comfortable. His excellent service truly stood out and made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

The only small disadvantage was that some desserts were not available during our visit, especially the matcha crepe cake and chocolate crepe cake, which we were looking forward to trying.

Overall, it was still a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this place, and if you get Chae as your waiter, you’re in great hands! 🔥🍖😊“

“Had the best food at Smoke Queen Barbecue: the tri tip, chicken, sausage, ribs, and delicious sides were all fall off the bone fantastic. Try the sesame slaw with spicy cucumbers, macaroni and cheese and fries. We loved the banana pudding, bread pudding, beers on tap, all with a great smile and playground to enjoy with our family. If you haven’t tried Smoke Queen Barbecue, you are missing out. So scrumptious!“

“I had the best birthday dinner at Lalc! I had the Giant Sandwich loaded with Andouille sausage, brisket and pulled pork over slaw on a Ciabatta roll! It was soooo big I could only eat half! The Brussels spouts were amazing and the 5 cheese Mac and Cheese was the best we have ever had! 5 Star!!!! I must try!!!“

“I recently tried Chubby Skewers and overall had a pretty good experience. They have a great selection of meats, and at $1.20 per skewer, it’s easy to try a variety without spending too much.

That said, some of the meats were a bit on the tougher side, which took away from the experience a little. But not everything was a miss, the grilled oysters and scallops were definitely highlights and tasted really good.

I also liked that you can order from the menu if you want something more than skewers. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for variety at a reasonable price, with a few standout items worth coming back for.“

“I finally tried Oniku in Garden Grove after hearing about it, and honestly it was better than I expected.

I like that you don’t have to choose between BBQ or hot pot , you can do both at the same table, which is nice when going with family or friends.

They have a few options:
Standard Shabu AYCE $38.95
Premium BBQ AYCE $46.95
Premium BBQ + Shabu AYCE $53.95

My family went with the $53.95 one so we could try everything, and it felt worth it.

The meat was pretty good for AYCE beef was nicely marbled, short ribs were tender, and the beef tongue was thin and easy to cook. Seafood was fresh too, I liked the shrimp and scallops.

There’s a self serve area with veggies and sides, so you have more to choose from. Service was quick, and the robot bringing food out was kind of interesting.

Parking was easy, plenty of space when we went.

Overall, good food, fair price, and a chill spot to go with a group. I’d come back.“

“Servers were so kind and sweet and always had a really bright smile, I’m mainly writing this review because the servers were so nice to us! The meat is also very high quality and fresh, the galbi, rib fingers, and the beef tongue were especially tasty. They also have free self serve ice cream as a desert after you’re finished eating. My mom was eating the ice cream outside the restaurant and one of the workers noticed she didn’t know where to throw it away and even took our trash for us after we left the restaurant. Really appreciate how sweet the workers were and how high quality the meat was, highly recommend coming here!“

“RIBBRO LB is a favorite of my partner’s & I. We had been looking for a local bbq place for sometime and we came across this gem. We’ve had our monthly date night dinners since December 2025 and have no regrets about it.
The BBQ salad is delicious with any of their protein selections. The Classic BBQ sandwich is top notch as well. I’m in love with their coleslaw. Their Pitt-Boss Rice Bowl is heavenly as well. The staff service is so fantastic as well. Needless to say we enjoy coming in once a month.“

The flavor of the brisket was perfect and so tender. The twice baked potato was the best that I have ever had. They were very kind when I picked up my food, and the restaurant looked so beautiful inside. I will be back hands down!“

“Had the brisket, Mac, and cornbreads. Love the chopped brisket. A little too fatty for my taste, but provided good flavor to the meat. BBQ sauce was very good - not too salty or sweet. Mac was good, with a little peppery kick to it. Both cornbreads were very good - the blueberry would be my choice over the honey. Overall, will definitely come back to try Lou’s other meats.“

One thing though is that the meat was good but for the 3 person combo the portion size is pretty small. But I would definitely come back! Get here early so you don’t wait in line.“

“Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.“

“Came here for dinner time during Christmas week with my family. We were a group of 10 and we came right at peak dinner time, which honestly sounds like a terrible idea but thankfully they were able to sit us within 40 minutes. We were sat at two tables and had a burner each. The service was great, especially with how busy they were that night. The KBBQ was super yummy and I especially loved the steamed egg, I ordered two total. The house salad was so so good- I wish someone would tell me the recipe (pls) because I ate the whole bowl. The meat came out at a decent time and I enjoyed sides. They also offered buldak ramen, which my younger cousins enjoyed- so I’m sure other parents or family members may wonder what else kids may enjoy here. I will definitely be back!“

“We were recently passing through Pasadena and boy, did Yelp come through for us when picking a place to eat! Craft by Smoke & Fire in Old Town Pasadena ended up being the perfect choice. It was a beautiful evening and we opted to sit outside. We were lucky enough to have Stephanie as our server…and also lucky to be there during happy hour – you gotta love a 2 for 1 drink special! It was hard to choose between all the craft cocktails, but we ended up ordering Lulu Lemons which were excellent! I play mixologist when entertaining at home, and when I expressed interest in recreating this drink for our friends, Stephanie was kind enough to share the recipe! The menu is full of yummy Texas-style BBQ options made from locally sourced meat, and it was hard to choose. We landed on brisket grilled cheese with a side of mac & cheese (can you have too much cheese?!) and a harvest brisket salad. Both were so delicious. The outside table area was pretty full and although she was covering a lot of tables, Stephanie was knowledgeable when guiding us through the menu, super attentive and personable to boot! We look forward to returning…and to checking out their Anaheim location as well!“

“I recently tried Kimo’s Shawarma and it was honestly one of the best shawarma spots I’ve been to. The meat was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and you can tell everything is made fresh. The garlic sauce was rich and creamy without being overpowering, and it paired perfectly with the warm, soft pita.

The portions were generous, especially for the price, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The place itself was clean and had a relaxed, casual vibe.

“On our way from LAX to Palm Springs after 10:00 pm we were looking for a quick bite to eat. Drove by this restaurant and figured we would try it.The experience was one we will absolutely recommend, regarding both food and true Chinese culture. No where near what I was expecting.We had the lamb and also beef skewers and fried rice. An appetizer was brought out that we did not order, as it was included, which was right away different and tasted unlike any other soybean and peanut I’ve experienced. It was delicious!The lamb and beef was cooked to exact request and was also delicious!While we have dined at many Chinese restaurants throughout the United States, as we travel extensively and dine out regularly this surf past any, and all other restaurants, we’ve dined in for this type of food. Here’s the difference this was not Chinese food that has been Americanized in most Chinese restaurants. This was true Chinese prepared food.I truly believe you would have to travel to China to get this quality of food and culture.I will also say that we spent 3/4 of our time speaking to Cindy, whose father owns the restaurant which caters to home cooked events at homes, so this is not their primary source of how they deliver the product to the public. The hour and 15 minutes we spent there was made so much more enjoyable as Cindy walked us through the culture the food and Wyatt tasted different because it was truly cooked to Chinese standard. So I have to say, was it the food that was the greatest experience, or Cindy‘s presence and her willingness to have an open conversation about why they do it the way they do, and enlightened us about the culture of the food,I strongly recommend anyone that wants to find out what real Chinese cuisine is and how it is cooked and prepared in China. You realize very quick that this is not your drive-through, Chinese pick up takeout, that we are accustomed to here in the United States. “Grading this on a curve of theme park food and, honestly, this ranks as high as it gets for their quick service. I got the ribs, chicken, and corn on the cob and they were all delicious. Maybe a little dry but again this is theme park quick service, so you shouldn't expect anything less. The line is usually pretty long but moves quickly. Plenty of seating, though it is all outside.“
