“A charming spot for a casual lunch. We indulged in classic burgers, chili fries, shredded tacos, and loaded chicken fries. The service was prompt, and although the place was small, it offered a comfortable atmosphere. Think of it as an upgraded version of fast food, tucked away on the side streets of Huntington Beach Main St.“
“Gyu-Kaku is a dining haven where every visit promises an unforgettable experience, thanks to its delectable cuisine and impeccable service. The journey begins with appetizers like the spicy jalapeño edamame, packing just the right amount of heat and flavor, and the addictive spicy cucumber, boasting crispy freshness and a savory sauce that keeps you coming back for more. The highlight, however, is the meat selection, with standouts like the toro and yaki-shabu beefs stealing the show. What sets Gyu-Kaku apart is the interactive element of cooking your own meat at the table, enhanced by a variety of sauce options to customize your culinary adventure. For fried rice aficionados, the beef sukiyaki bibimbap is a must-try, served piping hot in a bowl that allows the rice to crisp up beautifully for a textural delight. Garlic lovers rejoice with the garlic noodles, a flavorful favorite that never disappoints. To enhance your experience, reservations are highly recommended, especially on busy nights like Fridays and Saturdays. Gyu-Kaku does offer happy hour specials on select items. They can accommodate small to large parties. With a diverse selection of beer, sake, and other beverages to accompany your meal, attentive service, and convenient parking, Gyu-Kaku delivers a dining experience that will leave wanting to come back.“
“This was our first time here and it was a wonderful experience. One of the owners seated us, and waited on us. He was very welcoming and all about customer service. There was 5 of us and we got our food all together, a nice touch as well as it was delicious. We all shared each other's. A definite place to go back to. The atmosphere was relaxing, we sat outside overlooking the boats and enjoying the sun.“
“I have walked by the old crow many time but last night we ate here. I have a huge attention to detail so there were a few things that disrupted the vibe. First a $11 small beer is a bit pricey, the food came out fast but was cold, we didn't complain. We sat near the bar, and to the side near the stage was a sound board and so much clutter, boxes, printer, weird bins.. and over by the cowboy wall about 6 boxes up on a shelf that just looked sloppy. Some of the TV monitors were clearly going out. Our bill was about $100 just slightly disappointed with management here. They do lets dogs inside, that was nice to see. I probably will not be going back. Smells good though outside!!“
“Love this BBQ place!!! The smell as I walked in brought back great memories of having a backyard bbq. The staff was great was greeted and helped out by Manda and the owner. Awesome hospitality from both of them. Very attentive to my needs. I had the brisket and a side of coleslaw, by far the best brisket I’ve had as most tends to be dry and tough. Santa Maria bbq is spot on cant wait to be back to try some of there other menu items as they all look good. Great sauces as well i had the mango habanero and some sweet brown sugar sauce. If your craving bbq you have to come check this place out.“
