“I've never been the biggest fan of Subway but like most people faced with the mediocre lunch options of a suburban shopping center, I've been to my fair share.My friend and I were in the middle of a road trip and had come to the beginning of the Ortega highway. Knowing that this would be the last food stop for miles, we let out a familiar sigh - a sigh that I have come to know as the Subway sigh. A sigh that comes when you know there are a million other places you'd rather eat but this is what you've got.I went with my go to order, the Italian BMT. It was generously loaded with meat, toasted to perfection, and abundantly populated with fresh veg. The spreads were proportionate, the wrap up was perfect, and the cookie was warm. Everything about this eating experience was amazing. I can confidently say this is the best Subway I've ever been to.Not to mention the woman behind the counter, who I assume to be the owner, was INCREDIBLY sweet. I was transported back to a time when my mom would make me sandwiches when I came inside after a long day of play.In closing...yes, this is still a Subway, but it's a special one. Leave your Subway sigh at the door, you're in for a Subway surprise :)“

“This park has all the amenities and it’s very convenient. It is really close to the five freeway and right across from the shopping center. They have a water feature and plenty of levels to play on. The restrooms are also very close and clean. This is a great park for kids of all ages and all needs.“

While theirs was very good, it doesn't compare to The Hat.I've eaten at several of their locations and all are superb!!!This visit I got carried away with my order. The fries are a monstrous mound of taters topped with a generous pile of pastrami (one can add chili and cheese if desired - I didn't).Then there's the sandwich...A soft fresh French style "loaf", about 12 inches, piled with pastrami and had pickles and yellow mustard on it as well.Very Very good...incomparable!!!No, I didn't even finish the fries; I ate the pastrami off the top along with a few fries, took the rest of the fries home.Didn't even touch the sandwich until later in the evening.My beverage was an "Orange Bang".I love Orange Bang, but it's not for everyone...rather sweet.Service was quick and efficient, as was the preparation of the order.Worth the Trip, the Visit, and the Price.“

“Excellent custom sandwiches at a great price! The Squaw bread is the best! They have a menu of sandwiches that you use as a starting point, and then you customize the way you like it. Plenty of parking available. There is a little outdoor patio in the back, or you can hike about 3 minutes down towards the end of the street and sit on a bench overlooking Dana Point Harbor.“

“Hands down this is the best Subway ever! The restroom is clean, the bread is fresh, service is fast, and most importantly the employees are amazing. Lettie, Teresa, and Raul are so friendly, hardworking, and attentive to all my special requests. I travel a lot and visit many different Subways, but I have yet to visit one that's this good. “I took my girlfriend here for lunch after hearing about all the hype of board and brew. I was not disappointed. This was my first time at this lovely establishment and I have become a lifetime customer. Our bartender Sarah was phenomenal, this woman deserves a raise. The food came out quick and it was fantastic! We will be returning very soon to this location. I cannot recommend this place enough. Truly a sandwich and ambiance you have to experience yourself.“

“Hands down one of the best sandwiches I've had!! Everything is FRESH. The rosemary ciabatta was amazing with freshly made oven baked turkey. The cole slaw was such a nice compliment, and to finish it off was a delicious house made lemon coconut cookie. All this for a reasonable price. I'll be back tomorrow!! “The sandwiches are always packed with meat...they are very generous with portions so you are getting your money's worth. Beverages selection is excellent, even two different brewed tea options which is great for me and other tea connoisseurs. While they do have a lot of chip flavors it's exclusive to one brand which is not my favorite. I wish they'd bring back the voodoo chips and perhaps add a few other exclusive brands if that's the vibe they're going for.Note to the cooks...stop burning the bread when toasting for a BLT or the French Dip. I've asked almost every time but they still burn the top of the roll. I stopped ordering the French Dip which is my favorite until they can get this right I'd like to see some additional bread choices added like rye. Ham on rye would be my choice. The sqauw bread is not a true squaw bread. The phone system is weird, sometimes it will ring several times and then disconnect. This hasn't happened in awhile so hopefully they finally fixed thatI'm a picky eater so don't let the above comments sway you from eating here. You will not be disappointed with your sandwich as long as either you don't get it toasted or they fix that problem.Kid-friendliness: While this has a bar, this is a open airy establishment like you'd find next to the beach. The bar area is controlled and monitored separately with a bartender. Plenty of regular open seating away from the bar area including eating outside. TVs are usually playing sports.Parking: Parking available in both front and side with handicap and pickup orders only spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Several handicap spaces available in both the front and side parking areas.“

“Every time I’ve come to this location I’ve had a great experience; the store is very clean, quiet, and accessible to customers. I’ve ordered online a few times and my order has been ready for pickup when I’ve arrived. My order has been accurate each time and tasted how I wanted it to; I’m a spicy Italian fan. The workers I’ve interacted with have been friendly and helpful so I’ll definitely come back again.“

“The Houston is my favorite and go to panini here. Love that it’s family owned. Yeah service is not as fast as a franchise place but the sandwiches are worth the wait IMO. “Sandwiches aren't bad. I ordered the roast beef sandwich on sourdough. Sandwich was $13.90. For that price, I expected a little more roast beef then I got. It was 1 slice, maybe 2 slices at best. Felt a little short changed. Service was good otherwise.“

“This is a little and amazing persian sub shop. We were a group of 11 people and we ordered almost all the menu item and they were all so tasty. Fresh bread, tasty mortadella/roast beef and amazing sauce were an absolutely delight of sandwiches. “Still my favorite sandwich place but disappointed that they got rid if the champagne Dijon mustard and no more green salad. The combo was a better deal when it had both side and green salad. Drink choices are a little on the slim side.Getting to this location is not the greatest. While they get freeway visibility they'd be better served by moving to one of the other strip mall locations in the area that would provide more regular traffic. If that ever occurred though, they'd have to find a more efficient system for preparing sandwiches.All in all you're getting good quality meat in your sandwich with plenty of good portion condiments (lettuce, tomatoes etc)“

“So I have been having issues with Subways lately. I just wrote a bad review a couple of weeks ago of a different location after experiencing all sorts of trouble with various locations. Well, I have found my Subway! I walked into this Subway today. It was busy so I had some time to watch Margaret making sandwiches for a couple. She focused solely on the customers, took real care with putting their sandwiches together and was quick in getting their order completed. Same thing with the man in front of me. When Margaret took my order she was friendly, and efficient in getting exactly what I wanted on the sandwich. Better yet, the vegetables were fresh! I hadn't had that experience with the other Subway locations. Margaret introduced me to Jesus (not Christ, but her manager who had trained her) and he was just as nice as Margaret was. I thanked them for their great customer service and when I got home my sandwich was absolutely perfect. I really recommend this location if you are in the area.“

“Wow! What great service at this location in Ladera Ranch! It's so rare to find someone going above and beyond in customer service these days (ever since Covid). I had been craving a big salad and will come here every so often. I did a BYO and they didn't have the option to mark "spinach" so I had forgotten but the cashier (I think the manager?) reminded me and asked me if I wanted that too and I was like, omg that's why I came here, yes! Then she realized that they had run out so this amazing woman offered to go get some for me!!! She dashed out to the grocery store nearby and I got the salad I was craving! “Had the best experience coming here! Called ahead and spoke with Juan the manager about a catering order of giant subs. He was wonderful and accommodated my many requests. Him and Abe who also happens to be the owner reached out several times to make sure my order was exactly as I wanted. They delivered my order on time and it was an absolute hit at my Superbowl party. Everyone kept commenting on on how delicious the food was, especially the bread they had baked fresh that morning. Abe called me after the party to make sure I was happy. “this is a bizarre jersey mikes location, at least to me. The food is always solid and the people working are mellow, but the way it's run is confusing. They write down the order after taking it, only to make the sandwich like 10 seconds later. Usually takes much longer than other jmikes to get the food, everyone working there seems to be on a different system. They have a whole second area to make online orders but every time I've been they just use the normal side which backs everything up. They always forget any sides for online orders so whenever I get pickup I just do straight sandwiches. It's not the employees fault they just need a better manager/owner clearly.“

My experience was made to be a wonderfully positive one, all due to the young man behind the counter who was also the sandwich artist who put my mom's sandwich together. Eric is a young man around 20, but his demeanor and customer service by far exceed that of his cohorts. At the time that our youth cannot even pried away from their mobile devices and Tic Toc, Eric was handling the store all by himself ( Hey Subway, this kid is upper management material, allow him to grow). The place was clean, and Eric was friendly and welcoming. He followed my mother's extra demanding and detailed order to take out the inside of the bread before making the sandwhich and cutting it into 4 pieces, and so on. “This is by far my favorite spot to get a good chicken Philly cheese steak. My advice, don't skimp on the chicken California. It's so good and I get it with extra cheese which is so worth it. Side of fries and a crisp fountain drink will set you up for success and definitely a food coma. I also tried their buffalo chicken version which was good but I'll stick to the chicken California. It's in a mall so atmosphere is a little plain. Overall I plan to keep coming back for more.Parking: It's a mall so depending on the time there is usually plenty of parking. Just avoid during the Holidays.“
