A friend told us that we needed to try the Pastrami here. I'm not a big sandwich person, but I was willing to try... so glad I did. The Pastrami here is the best I've ever had... fresh, juicy, great taste and now we're hooked. Sadly, there are only locations in California and one in Vegas. Sometimes life is not fair. I would go on a road trip just for this place.
The portions are huge and easily enough for a 2nd meal to go. If you want an old school diner vibe/food, this is the place to go. Staff is always great and the place is always clean. Service is also usually pretty quick every time I go.

The Hat is a fantastic restaurant known for their famous Pastrami dip Sandwich. The Pastrami sandwich is a popular choice and is often enough for two people to feel satisfied. The Chili cheese dog and fries are also highly satisfying, with generous portions of chili, pickles, and voluminous fries. Prices may seem high, but the food is always fresh and evenly seasoned. The Turkey burger is also recommended. The sandwiches are piled high with excellent quality meat. The servers are polite, and the restaurant is remarkably clean, with a noticeably clean floor, seating area, and exceptionally clean restrooms. The restaurant is obviously well managed, making it a great place for a satisfying meal. Overall, it attracts a crowd, especially on weekends, and customers express a desire to return.
