“honestly we were just craving italian and this place popped up. the moment we walked in it smelled so good i knew we were in for something special.

i got the lasagna and it was exactly what i wanted, super cheesy and hearty. my friend had the chicken parm and she said it was perfect even the pasta on the side was cooked right. the service was super friendly too our waiter was patient when we took forever to decide.

we sat outside and it was chill even on a busy night. the whole meal felt like a cozy sunday dinner at someones home.

The salad bar was awesome, glad to see it open again. Good prices for everything as well. Life you get tons of healthy options here! They still have the cheese toast! That was my treat with the salad. The food is good and simple. Perfect spot for picky eaters, I saw plenty of kids getting food and actually eating it.”

The only thing I wish they could improve is weakening the seasoning. It's a mix of several banchans, but all banchans are very strong in either sauce or seasoning.

Very genuine food and polite servers who aim to please.
We shared the Pad See-Ew with Pork and Yellow Curry with Chicken and rice. We also ordered the rare Mango Sticky Rice.
This is highly recommended but save room for dessert. The meals are hearty and the mango and sticky rice are plentious.
Service is excellent and helpful.
The atmosphere is very authentic with the ongoing elephant theme throughout.”

The family-run restaurant has a personal flare and a faithful commitment. It has been a local favorite for decades and now it's got a fresh start.”

We would eat here again if prices wasn't so high. But we are from NC and may not be use to the the buffet prices in California.”

I got the Caramel Granita with oat-milk, it is like medium sweet drink, nice and refreshing.

The chocolate croissant was a totally different story, check the picture. The taste was like it was baked sometime this week :) and the texture was like it is a bun with chocolate. So do not expect the same excitement from their chocolate croissant as from their signature plain croissants, which are super awesome and could be used for French toast and sandwiches as well and any filling. Next time I will take fresh plain croissant and fill it with chocolates home :) Next time we will try their breakfast / lunch menu. It looks awesome and the customers I met were happy. The atmosphere is lifted with decorations that are unique and festive.

“We stopped by to grab lunch today and typically we have a hard time finding places to eat because my partner has a severe food allergy. Thankfully, we had a lot of help from Christian who was assisting customers with orders and he made sure our food was safe. It was excellent and the service was great. “So turns out finding a new place wasn't as hard as I thought. Ended up re-craving it again after last night so I decided to go again and try. It was thoroughly impressed with how deceivingly it is on the inside and how quickly I was seated and only that was served. They constantly checked up on me as I enjoy my food and definitely felt like a fat boy after that. Everything from the eggrolls to perfectly seasoned to the being complementary to all the flavors was beautiful as well as with the passionfruit smoothie which honestly took the cake for everything. I'm not sure if they do this for everybody, but I also received a among being pudding, which is also very good and honestly, I would buy that full price if I could get a whole bowl. Really well done place with nice customer service. I can't really go wrong. I would definitely come back here again.”

There used to be a bomb poke place next to my house off Trabuco but it closed about 3-4 years ago and I haven’t found a replacement yet. Tried a place close to this one and it reeked of fish the moment we walked through the door.
Saw this place on Google Maps, pulled into the parking lot and it just advertised drinks on the storefront. My wife and I were so deflated, but were hungry, so parked and we’re going to go next door. Once we walked up, we saw they did actually sell poke. Walked in, saw all the fresh fish, toppings, a great atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered our bowls, LOVED them and can’t wait to make this a normal spot moving forward!!!”
