“Favorite restaurant in Fallbrook and best sushi out of all of the places I’ve been Temecula Oceanside etc I can’t believe I overlooked something nearby for so long. I thought for so long I didn’t like tuna but I just had never had such good quality before! The prices are very reasonable and the service is amazing. You can definitely get a sense of how Fallbrook really is in there people come in and out talking about what’s going in the community it’s a special place.“
“Quick to seat, served complimentary miso, attentive waitress, expeditious food service, checked in on often, rolls were amazing, clean space, and respectful staff. My favorite sushi spot. I'd be willing to drive 2 hours to come here again, and make it an excuse to have a day trip in the area. Locals here are lucky to have this spot!Absolutely amazing!“
“We just had a FANTASTIC experience in our home. Frank was on time and very organized. It was a surprise for my husband birthday hosted by his daughters. The food was fresh and very tasty. When he left my kitchen was as clean as when he arrived. Everyone is still raving over this wonderful experience. Thank you Frank and we can hardly wait to have you back again.“
“We sat at the bar and got a sushi combo that came with 7 piece chef choice assorted sushi. Also got Salmon Carpaccio and a bunch of hand rolls:* Salmon Hand Roll* Spicy scallops hand roll* bluefin spicy tuna hand roll* Soft Shell Crab Hand RollEnded up getting another bluefin spicy tuna which is at market price.Everything tasted so fresh and tasty. I wanted to order more but we were heading to a party. They offer omakase for $130 per person for 17 course! What a deal!Sitting at the bar is a must if you order hand rolls so that you can eat it as soon as it comes out to get that freshness and crispiness from the seaweed.Plenty of parking in this plaza. They offer so many specials straight from Japan. Not many places have amberjack but it was sold out. They close Sunday and Monday so inventory will sell out by the end of the week.“
“Dinner on 02/06. Had Brandon as my waiter. He was on top of it! Refills on drinks without asking, checking in on our tables 6 or 7 times! Food was fantastic. I used to go to the Hana in the Newport shopping center, but with his attentiveness, this is now my go to sushi “
“Personally think this is the place I can eat great Nama-Tako, constantly. I’m hooked.Kid-friendliness: Very casual, kids friendly environment. Entrance is accessible by staircase only (That was how it seemed, if I was wrong, sorry) . Over all, will recommend the place to anyone.“
“Previously Hana Sushi, this is my go-to when I'm in the mood for tempura, sushi, or salmon. The food is prepared in generous portions and just simply delicious. The place is spacious and not usually crowded for the times I've been here. When a staff member made a mistake, they admitted fault and were very apologetic. Not a big deal. They're always friendly and accommodating.“
“Yama Sushi still packs a punch in the flavor department, even if the portions have shrunk a bit over time--probably just a casualty of inflation, you know? But let's talk taste! From their sushi rolls to their sashimi, every bite is a flavor explosion that'll have you coming back for more. Sure, you might need an extra roll or two to fill up, but trust me, it's worth it for that mouthwatering goodness. And hey, can we talk about the soy paper situation? Why upcharge for it when it costs less than seaweed anyway? Yama Sushi, let's keep the focus on the food, not the fees. Despite that, Yama Sushi remains a go-to spot for sushi cravings, delivering big flavors without breaking the bank.“
