“Exceeded my expectations! 🍣🍱

I don't think I've ever seen a sushi place that offers as big a menu as this place. There are so many different flavors and options to choose from, so you're definitely bound to find something that you like.

I'm not an expert when it comes to sushi, and I don't eat it as often as I'd like, yet I think that they provide decent quality rolls and ingredients. I highly recommend trying out their tempura or baked rolls if you're not sure what to get. The prices are pretty standard to other sushi places, but I think they dress the rolls with more toppings here.

* Golden Roll 🦀: 10/10 - so tasty and generously sauced
* Fire House Roll 🌶: 10/10 - perfect level of spice
* Calamari Roll 🦑: 9/10 - comes with deep-fried calamari and crispy flakes

We came during brunch time and were able to be seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive, and we didn't have to wait too long for our rolls to come. The interior is actually quite spacious with plenty of tables and seating options to choose from. It's located in a pretty large plaza with other shops and restaurants, but finding parking should be relatively easy as it rarely gets crowded.

“Such a nice spot. Food was very good and plentiful. This place is generous with its portions. My sushi actually had plenty of ingredients and not sure fluffed wrapped with rice. Bento boxes where also plentiful and all within a reasonable value. Nicely done.“

I really liked that you can build your own bowl exactly the way you want it. The ordering process is simple, all the ingredients looked fresh, and there were plenty of toppings to choose from.

I went with a bowl featuring ahi tuna and spicy tuna, both were incredibly fresh and flavorful.

The restaurant itself has a cozy atmosphere, and there was no line when we visited, so we got our food very quickly.

For toppings, I highly recommend the seaweed salad and crab, they added so much flavor and made the bowl even better.

Definately recommend this place if you're looking for a fresh, delicious poke bowl!“

“My GO TO Sushi spot. Date night yes! I even order to go probably once a week from here because it’s that good. I will say the dine-in experience is astounding. We are always to well taken care of and the servers are always so welcoming and never disappoint. I’m very picky about my sushi and I genuinely enjoy this place everytime.“

“This is the only sushi place i like in the area. I have tried a lot of different sushi places in the area and i honestly have no idea how they stay in business, made me want to give up eating sushi. Everything i have eaten here has been really good. My favorites that i get are the caterpillar roll, shrimp delight roll, and spider roll. My mom loves to get the ceviche roll. The chicken teriyaki is also good, the sauce tastes really good.“

“Great food and location, plenty of parking. Restaurant has booths on the left and tables in the middle. Sushi bar seats along the right with the chefs. The wait was short, they had to clean a table for us, 2 adults 2 kids. Prompt greeting and drink order. The food came out very fast. Our appetizer came out a minute before the rolls and bento boxes arrived. Delicious food. Prices $15 and up.
I had a beer and the wife hot sake, waters all around. Zero refills of water, never asked if we'd like another round of drinks. Zero pre-bussing, people cannot stand to be in front of their dirty dishes.
Other than this, good experience and close to home.“

“Food is good. Favorite chef Iggy is great. HOWEVER... I had a very bizarre experience eating there last night... I came in about 5:30 and ordered my food - all you can eat from a sushi list menu. Everything good so far. Two other people came in separately sat in the chairs next to me. They ordered their food and ate. We talked for about an hour. The server brought me a bill which included all three tabs. I told the cashier that I had ordered individually and expected to pay for my own meal as I always do and not for the other two. The woman, who said she was the manager, told me that I could not pay individually as it was their policy not to split tabs on three or more people who were apparently together on more than two credit cards. WHAT? I have eaten there many times before, talked to others near me. This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. There were no signs on the wall indicating that if you ate next to other people and collectively tried to pay with more than two credit cards, they would not allow you to do that. The others said they would pay their tabs on a single card. I was off the hook. As far as the manager/server goes, what kind of an intellectual genius would make up and try to "enforce" a policy like that? I've eaten there on and off for years. Make no mistake. I'm never eating there again.“

Prices were very reasonable during weekday lunch and waitstaff accommodated every need. They were willing to refill the sides!

Also, I don’t usually order poke at a sushi restaurant but I didn’t regret taking a chance. The scallop and tuna are fresh and the bowl itself had abundant and well-seasoned toppings including seaweed, avocado, imitation crab, and fluffy rice. It came with a side of miso, and they provided complimentary ice cream for dessert. What more can you ask for?“

“Had an incredible meal here recently. The quality of the fish is genuinely top-notch and everything tasted incredibly fresh. I was really impressed by the presentation, especially the vibrant colors of the hand rolls served with fresh greens on top.

“I really enjoyed my meal at JJ Sushi Chinese Cuisine! I ordered the lamb and asked for it spicy, and they got the heat level just right, it was flavorful with a satisfying kick, without overpowering the dish. The portion was generous, and the beautiful flower garnish was such an unexpected touch that made the presentation feel extra special.

We arrived before the lunch rush, and I’m glad we did because we practically had the restaurant to ourselves. The dining room has a comfortable atmosphere with both booth seating and a sushi bar. Parking is typical for a strip mall, and the restrooms were clean.

“First time going there for lunch with my husband was very lovely! They had paper menus and many good options. We ordered 3 rolls, chicken cutlets box, and 2 drinks and they offered us a choice between free gyoza or roll. They had a comfortable spacious sitting area and a little TV on the wall. The cashier/ hostess was super kind and patient and she even took our movie suggestion to put on which of course wasn't mandatory but was a sweet gesture that made the meal more enjoyable for us. Mid way through the meal the chef sent out some gyoza to our table and a separate table it was another unexpected kind gesture. The food was great we definitely had left overs and the service was top tier and the atmosphere was overall very chill with a good flow of customers. I will definitely be back and definitely recommend :)“

“I think the food is ok, over priced for dinner. 200.00 for three people. Yikes, they use breast of chicken which can get hard after grilling, the beef is ok, but not tender. The only that was good was the veggies“

“My Favorite Go To spot for high quality poke. Their fish and toppings are always fresh and crisp and they dont skimp on the toppings. I have been coming here since they first opened up their shop and I jave mever left disappointed.
