“Ok I have been meaning to try this spot for awhile and today the wife and I finally tried it. The wife had the hot mess which was in a nutshell eggs benedict, with bacon wrapped meatloaf and their house sauce. I tasted it and it was the bomb! I had the cavatelli noodles with house made Italian sausage and a a garlic sauce. Can't wait to go back and try another dish! Tables were clean, staff professional, great atmosphere, conveniently located, clean bathrooms.”

“I’ve been coming to Caffe Mercato for both casual visits and business meetings, and it never disappoints. The Italian Club sandwich is excellent, and on colder days, the Azteca hot chocolate with a shot of espresso is my favorite. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is very welcoming, and it truly feels like one of the best local cafés in Menifee. We always make it a point to order food and drinks right away to support such an amazing place.”

The fries r really good too and they do give a lot. They also have a spicy sauce that’s got a good kick to it and tastes really good with the burger and the fries. The pricing is terrible 21 bucks, but I guess that’s where we’re at these days lol”

“My husband and I stopped by after seeing Eddie Izzard's Hamlet right down the street. I got the Damon Bruce and my husband got thr Hollywoo. Both were fantastic (though I tried both and think i picked best). The dirty sauce was surprisingly sweet, and the only complaint I have is that it was sweeter than I would have liked. Did not stop me from devouring the deliciousness, though. I will be back if I am in the area again.”

“Saturday lunch break. I’m out at the karting track and suddenly that craving hits — poke. Not sushi, not burgers… poke.

Quick search shows a spot about 15 minutes away, so I jump in the car. First thing I notice while checking reviews: Yelp shows 3.9 stars, but Google says 4.4. That already made me curious. Like… what exactly are people complaining about here? I even started reading a few reviews before going in.

Walking inside, the place is simple, clean, exactly what you expect from a casual poke spot. Nothing fancy, but that’s not why you come here anyway.

What actually stood out right away was the service. The guy behind the counter was genuinely friendly — not the robotic “next customer please” kind of vibe. He walked me through the options, explained how their bowls work, and even let me taste a couple things before deciding. That alone already set the tone.

The ingredients looked fresh across the board. You build your bowl step by step — rice, proteins, toppings, sauces. Pretty straightforward system, but everything was organized and clean behind the counter.

The bowl itself? Really good. Fresh fish, balanced flavors, nothing drowning in sauce. Exactly the kind of lunch you want after burning energy at the track.

And the price was honestly fair. I’ve eaten poke in places that charge noticeably more for basically the same portion.

So yeah… I’m still not sure why Yelp sits at 3.9, because my experience was solid from start to finish.

Expectations vs reality matched perfectly.

It’s not a fine-dining restaurant, and it’s not trying to be one. It’s a straightforward poke spot that does its job well.

And honestly — I’ll definitely swing by again next time I’m nearby.”

“Unprofessional Behavior from staff , Evident descriminatory behavior for customer in drive thru, Extended unnecessary wait time in drive thru 10 min before acknowledging customer in drive through and order then another 20 minutes to wait for only a drink order only 1 car ahead of me no cars behind when asked for Managers name bullying customer would not give name and told should of come in. I chose drive thru for disability this is descrmination cost 1/4 tank of Gas to be treated unprofessionally, bullied and discriminated against and just out right ignored in all respects”

“I was there today at around 8pm, I didn't have enough money from my mom, so I told the woman working, (Erika) and she was very sweet about it, and she started making my food while I went to get more cash, and she was so nice about it, that I didn't feel embarrassed at all.”

If I could give this place seven stars, I would—but then I’d need a whole new rating system and maybe an honorary doctorate in joy. The cleanliness was so immaculate, I felt like I was walking into a temple—no, scratch that—a temple built by monks who also love sparkling countertops. The portions were absurd—my “small plate” could’ve fed a family of four, yet somehow it felt exactly right.

And the staff—oh, the staff. Imagine if Oprah and Mister Rogers ran a Michelin-starred dream factory—that’s how good they were. But the magic was in the back: the old Asian guys cooking—silent, focused, masters of their craft. You know when they’re in charge, every bite is going to be a revelation. This place was just missing a little red lantern—then it would’ve been straight-up cinematic perfection.

Go here. Seriously—this is what heaven tastes like, if heaven had a napkin service. 10/10.

“Picked up from here twice and let me tell you... this is one of the best mexican spots in town. Not only is everything incredibly tasty, but the portions and prices are unbelievable. Anyone can fill up on less than $10 here, and trust me I'm a big guy so I can eat. They PILE meat on their tacos and their burritos are easily shareable. Best thing I've had so far was the shrimp tacos. I ordered two tacos and honestly they put enough shrimp on the plate for four tacos LOL. The sauce they put on the tacos is also very tasty and perfectly spicy. Even better; the food was prepared quickly and the people who work there are very friendly. Please consider giving this place your business.”

“I have been coming to this location for the past couple of years. I'm not usually one to write reviews but its a must for this spot. I love that they have a drive thru, they always get the food out at a timely matter. The Place is always clean and my pet peeve at any restaurant the salsa bar always stocked and clean and these guys always make sure it's on point. All of the young lady's upfront always welcome you with a genuine smile and hello, especially Lizzet & Estphany! Kudos to them. Josh the manager is always greeting everyone who walks in. He has been recommending burritos for me to try every time i go in. He never fails to give me a great tasting food item! Definitely recommend this restaurant.”
