“Absolute hidden gem in Costa Mesa. We’ve been on a hunt for a great omakase spot for a hot minute now and decided to give this place a try. The atmosphere was nice and intimate, the service was friendly and warm, and to top it off: the food from start to finish was delicious.“

“We’ve been to so many omakase sushi bars all over the world and K’s Bistro is one of the best.
For $150, you get IMMENSE value. And there are no compromises on quality. Here I might have had one of the best bites of tuna I’ve ever had. Chef added mustard to it. Mustard! And it transcended the bite.
And.. not one bite of uni and caviar, two!
Run to this place. Sit on the bar. Get the $120 or $150 omakase, and get ready for one of the best culinary experiences in the OC.“

“I had such a lovely experience at Yubuya! I picked up lunch and the food was absolutely phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is just as wonderful, with such a beautiful, warm, and inviting space. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I truly can’t recommend this place enough. Such a special spot in Costa Mesa—I’ll definitely be back!“

“One of my favorite family-owned, hole-in-the-wall sushi spots! 🍣 Been eating here for over 10 years and the quality has always been amazing! I usually get the rolls or combination specials (which comes with a lot of food). The owners are very kind and provide great service! If you’re craving sushi, definitely check out this authentic, yummy restaurant!“

“I am in town visiting from across the country and this is one of the best sushi places I have ever been to. I say that as a person who worked for seven years in a sushi establishment. The service is so fast and the employees are so kind. Our sushi was delicious and even their desserts are great. We went back twice and it is truly just an exemplary restaurant. I know I have their staff to thank for my experience, so thank you guys! Keep it up 👍🏼“

“Please go support this business. The sushi always turns out very good and the lady who works in the front is the sweetest she’s very patient, we wanted sushi and came in but we were recovering from the flu but we wore masks and we ordered baked spicy lobster roll & popcorn scallop sushi and she ended up giving us two miso soups for free 😭 ❤️ and also a 4.13 discount!

“Great service, My friends and I come from Germany, and our English is so so, most of this I had to use Google Translate. However, there was a kind young lady who was able to help us in German with a name something along the lines of Jessi, and she was very helpful, especially for my friends who can't really speak English well. So I wanted to give credit, and the food was great.“

“Amazing Japanese cuisine in Costa Mesa, CA. This place is one of the best Japanese restaurants in all of Orange County. The interior style resembles what all Japanese restaurants should look like, and most importantly, the food and service was top notch. They have an extensive sushi menu and it has always been very fresh and also Japanese imported. Hands down, my top 5 favorite Japanese restaurants in California.“
