“We had the restaurant’s course menu, and every piece of sushi was absolutely amazing. The fish was incredibly fresh and literally melted in our mouths, while the bite-sized sushi rice made each piece easy and enjoyable to eat. We finished the entire course in no time! They also served Japan’s famous Sapporo beer, making us feel as if we were dining at a high-end sushi restaurant in Japan. It was an unforgettable and delicious experience. Highly recommended!“

“I happened upon this place while I was at the rage part of hangry (don't forget to eat folks lol). As I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a welcome from the employee behind the counter. He was like joy and sunshine in human form, and something about this place felt so calming. I went from hangry meltdown in the car to totally fine within minutes of being inside. The employee was so friendly and kind that all my hangry rage melted away. Completely impressed. I ordered the poke bowl, and it was incredible. I kid you not, every single bite was just as amazing as the first. I love poke bowls, and this was the best one I've ever had. It was so fresh and just perfect. For context, I'm a really picky eater and rarely take the time to leave reviews. 10/10 would recommend.“

“This is some of the best sushi in HB, and maybe in all of OC. Some of their specials are pretty mind blowing (the price tag is too, but that's sushi/fresh fish!). Service is great. As others mentioned, if you want to be certain of a table, it's best to book as they are pretty regularly busy. You can go for a great lunch too. Parking is easy. My only negative is the restaurant smells very greasy to me, but that only bothers me upon entering, after that I stop noticing it. Not a lot of ambiance, but this is not unusual for sushi especially in a strip mall.“

“Wow. Seated promptly on a busy Thursday night, drinks and orders were taken and received in a timely manner, and waiter had great solutions to food preference. Restroom was clean, open windows provided a nice airy breeze even though the place was packed. Food portions were decent. I have nothing negative to say! I've tried multiple restaurant's salmon carpaccio dish, and this one was different in a tasty way. Yum!“

“Long the resident first time here and I'm glad I finally got to visit. Food is good. I had the curry udon and it hit the spot. Tasty and good. The udon perfectly prepared not mushy. “Ry poke is great. Hands down the best poke in mainland. But it has long lines on weekend s. Best to go right at opening. Even after ordering you still have to wait like 15 to 20 minutes for the food to be ready. I wish they have scaled up and have online ording for pickup.“

“Came when it wasn't busy. Shared a large poke bowl between the 2 of us which was plenty of food. We ordered salmon, tuna, albacore, and tempura shrimp as our proteins and liked that they offered seaweed salad, mango, mandarin, tamago, edamame, ginger, smelt egg as toppings.
It was a little warm when we stayed indoors to eat. They also had outdoor seating.“

“Their food is fantastic, my favorites were the Chilean Sea Bass, Black Cod, and Grilled Salmon. The Black Cod especially stood out; it was prepared in the authentic Japanese style, and I've never found anything like it anywhere else in the Huntington Beach area. The flavors were rich and absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere made me feel like I’m in Japan, the decor and ambiance were immersive and peaceful, it added to the overall experience. I’m definitely going to bring my family here next time“

This is our favorite local spot, they even have a decent happy hour menu if you can get there before 5:30p. And a good deal with 99 cent Saporo (first one, after that it's still only $2.99).
Our favorites are the sashimi roll - no rice with the best sauce, and the truffle salmon carpaccio - with another delicious truffle oil sauce. We love the baked lobster roll, their ramen and udon are both good, and in the end it's not too pricey.“

Soo soo happy I finally had a chance to try this place :) needed a spot to meet up and have dinner with my cousin and this place perfectly fit the bill tonight. Very warm, nice, genuine servers and ambience, everyone who interacted with us was very accommodating, attentive, helpful and kind.
Excellent service really makes a difference, and we appreciate you. Food was very good, and the great variety of sauces was a plus too. My palate is still dancing with the lingering deliciousness of the garlic sauce hahah.
