My wife and I stopped here for a date night on a Friday night and we were very impressed with the menu, service, and atmosphere. Not a large restaurant but we still only waited about 15 mins for 2 people. I've lived right around the corner from this restaurant for over 30 years and I regret I never once stopped in once. There are so many other menu items we want to try so we will definitely be back. Our new sushi spot!
The food is great. The service is wonderful, which feels rare these days. We were there at 6PM right at opening. They got busy pretty fast. Its clear why they are popular.
This is some of the best sushi in HB, and maybe in all of OC. Some of their specials are pretty mind blowing (the price tag is too, but that's sushi/fresh fish!). Service is great. As others mentioned, if you want to be certain of a table, it's best to book as they are pretty regularly busy. You can go for a great lunch too. Parking is easy.
