“Worthy of a special trip! They took such care in their preparation. It’s not a glitzy place but the service was special. Counter order, lots of options. My wife and I stopped there as we were staying at the Hampton inn in the same area. I had a yellowtail roll along with tempura and my wife had the salmon. Vegetables were perfect presentation was spot on for casual dining and my roll was one of the best I’ve had. Perfect proportion of spicy tuna to yellowtail to rice. If I lived in the area I would go here at least once a week. Prices were also spot on and in many cases extremely reasonable. Bravo Kabuto!!! A special place!!“

“Sushi Hama is honestly the best sushi spot around here. It’s my go-to and still my all-time favorite in the area.

The fish quality is seriously so good — super fresh, clean, and just melts in your mouth. You can really tell they care about what they serve. The sashimi is a must. The cuts are thick and generous, and it just hits every time.

The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole vibe even better. And the portions? So generous. I always leave completely full and happy.

It’s also the perfect place to grab a glass of sake and just enjoy good food with friends. I’ve brought so many people here and it has never failed. Everyone ends up loving it.

You honestly can’t go wrong with anything, but the Langostino Roll is my absolute favorite. If you go, definitely get that — and don’t skip the sashimi.

Just try it. You won’t regret it. Trust me!!!“

“This was such an incredible experience, my group sat at the sushi bar and this was all our first times having Omakase. We couldn’t have asked for a better and more delicious experience. The couple that owns this restaurant is so sweet and absolutely incredible with customer service. We felt like we had been coming here for years, and ordered more food at the end of our 12 piece meal bc it was all so delicious and we couldn’t get enough. I think we each got 3 more pieces. I can’t wait to return. This made my husband’s birthday, so very special. Thank you again for such a night to remember. One of the best meals I’ve ever had!!“

“I happened upon this place while I was at the rage part of hangry (don't forget to eat folks lol). As I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a welcome from the employee behind the counter. He was like joy and sunshine in human form, and something about this place felt so calming. I went from hangry meltdown in the car to totally fine within minutes of being inside. The employee was so friendly and kind that all my hangry rage melted away. Completely impressed. I ordered the poke bowl, and it was incredible. I kid you not, every single bite was just as amazing as the first. I love poke bowls, and this was the best one I've ever had. It was so fresh and just perfect. For context, I'm a really picky eater and rarely take the time to leave reviews. 10/10 would recommend.“

“I’ve ordered here 3 times and food here has been consistently fresh. This place is near where I live. I was surprised to find out it was just a take out establishment during my first visit. But services have been quick and they have gotten the orders right so far. They often send out discount codes which are very helpful in this economy. Prices are fairly reasonable. Try it if you’re in the mood for sushi!“

“What a wonderful restaurant! The food here is incredible! We especially love the California Rolls and Japanese soda. When they prepare tuna it's quite a show and so much fun! What's best is how kind they are to children. My son has become friends with the owners/ staff over the years, and always leaves with a huge smile on his face. 5 stars!!!“

“K Sushi is a hidden gem. Our server Luke, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the Special Roll Tray and the Tempura Ice Cream.

The Special Roll Tray was flavorful and a great portion size for 4 people with moderate appetites. The Tempura Ice Cream was amazing. I loved the contrast between the crispy crunchy exterior and the cold ice cream inside. The pricing was fair and standard. They have korean fushion rolls on the menu. I will be coming back to try those!

The restaurant is small family business tucked in a small plaza. The place was clean and comfortable. It wasn’t too busy during dinner time on a Thursday. The bathrooms were clean which is always appreciated.“

“This was a 10/10 all around. Every piece of sushi was incredible. Usually we aren’t the biggest fans of Salmon and Nigiriba’s salmon was so good we actually ordered extra.

We’ve had nobu, sugar fish, and plenty of other sushi spots. The price here was very reasonable and the quality was definitely as good if not better.

The staff was all very friendly and attentive. They explained to us their process, some history of the restaurant, details of the different fish, etc.

This is a great new addition to Huntington Beach and Orange County’s sushi scene. Very excited to have it so close by.“

“Sooo delicious. We ordered the soft shell crab appetizer and it had such a delicate fried flavor. It hit the spot. It paired perfectly with the citrusy dressing in the side salad. We ordered the jalapeño bomb and Jessica roll. They're both shrimp tempura rolls but where the jalapeño bomb was creamy and spicy the Jessica roll tasted bright and fresh. Sat at the sushi bar, ordered nigiri; yellowtail, kurodai, tuna and salmon, mixed tempura, and green teas that were better than expected. The iced was this cloudy matcha situation in case you like that type of iced tea.

Excited to see kurodai on the menu. There were a few specials but we stuck to the basics for this round.

Everything came out beautifully presented and the fish was genuinely fresh across the board. The crispy rice is the move. Caramelized, warm, light spicy tuna on top. Comes heavy on the sauce so just know that going in. We will ask for a lighter touch next time but it was still delicious.

It's a well-oiled machine as far as getting the food out getting the people their drinks and cycling through.. sit down and DO NOT expect a luxurious experience but definitely a Tasty one!:)

If not they typically sit you down right away. The servers are friendly. The food here is great. You must take advantage of the lunch combos they offer. Combo B is the way to go. Soup, salad, your choice of any roll plus 2 hand rolls. It's a lot of food and you get your money's worth. They have alcohol on the menu as well. There is kids seating available. My only negative is the restaurant smells very greasy to me, but that only bothers me upon entering, after that I stop noticing it.
