I have been coming here with my husband for over 8 years. The food is great quality and their customer service is awesome!
I have been going to this place for years so my review comes as a collection of visits. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Enter the local and have the host take your name down if it's busy. If not they typically sit you down right away. The servers are friendly. The food here is great. You must take advantage of the lunch combos they offer. Combo B is the way to go. Super good lunch special from 11-3 mon-fri if you're in the lakewood area. Always hits the spot. They DO NOT skim on they're rolls. Always filling.

Based on the reviews, Mamma's Sushi and Shabu offers great food and service. The servers are friendly, the staff is welcoming, and the service is impeccable. The atmosphere is very family and home like. Plenty of parking is available in the plaza. The restaurant gets busy since they have two things going with the sushi and the shabu shabu. Customers must take advantage of the lunch combos they offer; Combo B is the way to go, including soup, salad, a choice of any roll plus 2 hand rolls. It is a lot of food and customers get their money's worth. Every sushi roll has been exceptional. The restaurant provides some of the best quality sushi for an actually affordable price. They have a daily special with a different roll each day. There is alcohol on the menu and kids seating available. It is not the best sushi in the world but it is a place to take care of a sushi craving. It is a nice place to have lunch or dinner. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food. It is a place where the essence of traditional cooking meets modern elegance.
