However, there was a kind young lady who was able to help us in German with a name something along the lines of Jessi, and she was very helpful, especially for my friends who can't really speak English well. “I happened upon this place while I was at the rage part of hangry (don't forget to eat folks lol). As I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a welcome from the employee behind the counter. He was like joy and sunshine in human form, and something about this place felt so calming. I went from hangry meltdown in the car to totally fine within minutes of being inside. The employee was so friendly and kind that all my hangry rage melted away. Completely impressed. I ordered the poke bowl, and it was incredible. I kid you not, every single bite was just as amazing as the first. I love poke bowls, and this was the best one I've ever had. It was so fresh and just perfect. For context, I'm a really picky eater and rarely take the time to leave reviews. 10/10 would recommend.“

“Probably the best poke we’ve ever had. Super fresh, high quality, melt in your mouth fish that even rivals poke selections on the Hawaiian islands. Good variety of toppings and generous portions; the large was hard for me to finish and I eat A LOT. We ordered 2 large half/half bowls and one small (no drinks) each bowl included an upcharge for premium toppings and the total cost was just over $60. Extremely delectable lunch meal; we would definitely eat here again.“

“The food was AMAZING and the service here is the best. It was my first time today and me and my mom loved it. When you walk In there is already some one setting up your table. When you order the food comes in less then 5 minutes. The price is the best you can get. I got to plates of cail roll and green green beans ONLY for $25.36. I love this place and I would definitely would recommend this to a suish lover. The works are fast super nice and have a smile on there face all the time.“

“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I am from Maine and will be sure to stop by this establishment every chance I get once I am in town.“

“Ry poke is great. Hands down the best poke in mainland. But it has long lines on weekend s. Best to go right at opening. Even after ordering you still have to wait like 15 to 20 minutes for the food to be ready. I wish they have scaled up and have online ording for pickup.“

“Been coming here for years since they first opened. Quality is always good every single time. Staff is always friendly. Parking right in front is easy. They add new stuff to the menu often, I stick to the same old stuff for the most part but did grab the spicy garlic shrimp today which I definitely recommend.

They offer stuff other spots don’t like black rice. Grilled chicken.“

“Came when it wasn't busy. Shared a large poke bowl between the 2 of us which was plenty of food. We ordered salmon, tuna, albacore, and tempura shrimp as our proteins and liked that they offered seaweed salad, mango, mandarin, tamago, edamame, ginger, smelt egg as toppings.
It was a little warm when we stayed indoors to eat. They also had outdoor seating.“

“Haven’t been to this location so I was able to try it today. I got the 2 scoops for $14.50! It was fresh and lots of topping options which was nice. Only the avocado is extra.

They don’t mix the sauce with the protein, they put it on top. I tried the wasabi cilantro sauce on the side and it was good.

“I've been coming here for the past two years since returning to school nearby. For the price, the poke bowls are definitely worth it—the portions are generous and satisfying.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the rice isn't always consistent. Being Asian, I definitely know my rice! 😂 Other than that, it's in a convenient location, the service is usually fast, and it's been one of my go-to spots.“

“Went on a Sunday around 530pm. You order at the counter and pay first. Sushi and Ramen were very delicious! Limited bottled soda,juices and filtered water you get on your own. No AC but who cares you're in Newport. Overall great place to eat after the beach.“
