“Poki Tiki has been one of our favorite places in Laguna Niguel for a long time, so when we were visiting Laguna Beach and saw this location, we immediately decided to stop by. We already knew that we liked Poki Tiki, but this visit honestly exceeded our expectations and made us love this place even more.

First of all, the portions were very generous. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. The fish tasted incredibly fresh, all the ingredients were high quality, and there was a great selection of toppings and sauces. You can really taste the difference when a restaurant cares about the quality and freshness of its food. Every bite was flavorful, and we left completely satisfied.

The service was just as impressive as the food. A young woman and a young man helped us, and both were extremely friendly, welcoming, patient, and professional. They created such a positive atmosphere and made us feel genuinely appreciated as customers. Excellent service like this makes a good meal even better.

One small moment especially showed us how much the employees here care about their customers. We bought a Coca-Cola but accidentally left it inside the restaurant. We had already walked outside when we suddenly saw one of the employees, possibly the manager, running toward us with the drink and calling, “Hey, guys, you forgot your Coca-Cola!” He absolutely did not have to run outside to find us, but he made the effort anyway. It may seem like a small gesture, but it meant a lot to us and made us feel that the people working here truly care. We were very pleasantly surprised and grateful.

The location is also excellent. It is in a beautiful area of Laguna Beach, easy to find right near the road, and there is parking nearby, which makes stopping here very convenient. The restaurant itself is clean, pleasant, and has a relaxed atmosphere—perfect for enjoying a fresh and healthy meal after spending time around Laguna Beach.

Overall, this was an outstanding experience from beginning to end: large portions, delicious food, incredibly fresh fish and ingredients, a beautiful and convenient location, and a wonderful team that goes above and beyond for its customers.

We already loved Poki Tiki in Laguna Niguel, and now we can confidently say that the Laguna Beach location is just as amazing. We will definitely be coming back and recommending it to our friends and family. If you are looking for fresh, flavorful poke, generous portions, and truly kind service in Laguna Beach, this is absolutely the place to visit. “I happened upon this place while I was at the rage part of hangry (don't forget to eat folks lol). As I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a welcome from the employee behind the counter. He was like joy and sunshine in human form, and something about this place felt so calming. I went from hangry meltdown in the car to totally fine within minutes of being inside. The employee was so friendly and kind that all my hangry rage melted away. Completely impressed. I ordered the poke bowl, and it was incredible. I kid you not, every single bite was just as amazing as the first. I love poke bowls, and this was the best one I've ever had. It was so fresh and just perfect. For context, I'm a really picky eater and rarely take the time to leave reviews. 10/10 would recommend.“

“Probably the best poke we’ve ever had. Super fresh, high quality, melt in your mouth fish that even rivals poke selections on the Hawaiian islands. Good variety of toppings and generous portions; the large was hard for me to finish and I eat A LOT. We ordered 2 large half/half bowls and one small (no drinks) each bowl included an upcharge for premium toppings and the total cost was just over $60. Extremely delectable lunch meal; we would definitely eat here again.“

“Everything is absolutely excellent ! The quality of the food, the service, and the lovely lady at the counter who took the time to advise us and help us choose. The last time I had sushi this good was at Tsunami in Tampa, Florida!

My sister and I loved it so much that we came back three times in the same week. We absolutely had to check whether it was really that good or whether the first time had just been a lucky day.. And yeah, it was just THAT good and perfect every single time! 😂

I wish theyi had several locations across the United States so I could eat there wherever I travel. “Came when it wasn't busy. Shared a large poke bowl between the 2 of us which was plenty of food. We ordered salmon, tuna, albacore, and tempura shrimp as our proteins and liked that they offered seaweed salad, mango, mandarin, tamago, edamame, ginger, smelt egg as toppings.
It was a little warm when we stayed indoors to eat. They also had outdoor seating.“

“The place is small but don't let that fool you! The menu is huge. The portions are so big they use tape to help keep containers closed. The flavor.....UNMATCHED, Island Beef Ribs and Poke is what we got and both were amazing.
Poke is just as if you were in the island! Amazingly good, they sell out fast so get there early. Sure there's other Poke places around but they are so artificial and processed like store bought Poke.

The staff is so friendly! They're helpful if you have questions and is always with a smile! Love them.

“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I am from Maine and will be sure to stop by this establishment every chance I get once I am in town.“

“Haven’t been to this location so I was able to try it today. I got the 2 scoops for $14.50! It was fresh and lots of topping options which was nice. Only the avocado is extra.

They don’t mix the sauce with the protein, they put it on top. I tried the wasabi cilantro sauce on the side and it was good.

“Honestly the poke here was actually really good not gonna lie but what made the experience not as good was the fact that they ran out of rice so I had to substitute it with either store bought tortilla chips or mixed greens, and the prices seemed a bit steep for the overall portions, and the line wasn’t that bad even tho it was long but the place is super tiny and barely has room to accommodate eating inside and the line right in the middle so that’s why I gave it 4 stars, but I would come back just for the poke by itself forsure cuz it is worth the wait, and they have a good selection of poke flsvors and Hawaiian suns“

“I've been coming here for the past two years since returning to school nearby. For the price, the poke bowls are definitely worth it—the portions are generous and satisfying.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the rice isn't always consistent. Being Asian, I definitely know my rice! 😂 Other than that, it's in a convenient location, the service is usually fast, and it's been one of my go-to spots.“
