Konpa Nikkei is a small, bright and light restaurant located near the beach. The interior is fresh and the staff is friendly and patient. The menu offers a variety of fresh fish dishes, including the Tuna bowl with half quinoa and half rice, the OG Masubi, and a Peruvian twist that remains heavily Japanese. Poke bowls are full of flavor and come with a range of sauce choices that pair well with the Masubi and poke. A vegan bowl, vegan wrap, and three vegan appetizers, including the Life changing pickles, are also available. The coliflor bowl with half quinoa and half mixed greens is a beautiful array of colors, textures, and flavors. The iced green tea is superior. Service is 100 % good, with staff explaining the menu clearly. The place is peaceful, clean, and has plenty of street parking. Customers say it is the best fresh poke they’ve had, and the quality of the fish is superb. Konpa Nikkei is a gem worth trying and sharing with friends.
