“Poki Tiki has been one of our favorite places in Laguna Niguel for a long time, so when we were visiting Laguna Beach and saw this location, we immediately decided to stop by. We already knew that we liked Poki Tiki, but this visit honestly exceeded our expectations and made us love this place even more.

First of all, the portions were very generous. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. The fish tasted incredibly fresh, all the ingredients were high quality, and there was a great selection of toppings and sauces. You can really taste the difference when a restaurant cares about the quality and freshness of its food. Every bite was flavorful, and we left completely satisfied.

The service was just as impressive as the food. A young woman and a young man helped us, and both were extremely friendly, welcoming, patient, and professional. They created such a positive atmosphere and made us feel genuinely appreciated as customers. Excellent service like this makes a good meal even better.

One small moment especially showed us how much the employees here care about their customers. We bought a Coca-Cola but accidentally left it inside the restaurant. We had already walked outside when we suddenly saw one of the employees, possibly the manager, running toward us with the drink and calling, “Hey, guys, you forgot your Coca-Cola!” He absolutely did not have to run outside to find us, but he made the effort anyway. It may seem like a small gesture, but it meant a lot to us and made us feel that the people working here truly care. We were very pleasantly surprised and grateful.

The location is also excellent. It is in a beautiful area of Laguna Beach, easy to find right near the road, and there is parking nearby, which makes stopping here very convenient. The restaurant itself is clean, pleasant, and has a relaxed atmosphere—perfect for enjoying a fresh and healthy meal after spending time around Laguna Beach.

Overall, this was an outstanding experience from beginning to end: large portions, delicious food, incredibly fresh fish and ingredients, a beautiful and convenient location, and a wonderful team that goes above and beyond for its customers.

We already loved Poki Tiki in Laguna Niguel, and now we can confidently say that the Laguna Beach location is just as amazing. We will definitely be coming back and recommending it to our friends and family. If you are looking for fresh, flavorful poke, generous portions, and truly kind service in Laguna Beach, this is absolutely the place to visit. “Probably the best poke we’ve ever had. Super fresh, high quality, melt in your mouth fish that even rivals poke selections on the Hawaiian islands. Good variety of toppings and generous portions; the large was hard for me to finish and I eat A LOT. We ordered 2 large half/half bowls and one small (no drinks) each bowl included an upcharge for premium toppings and the total cost was just over $60. Extremely delectable lunch meal; we would definitely eat here again.“

He was like joy and sunshine in human form, and something about this place felt so calming. I went from hangry meltdown in the car to totally fine within minutes of being inside. The employee was so friendly and kind that all my hangry rage melted away. Completely impressed. I ordered the poke bowl, and it was incredible. I kid you not, every single bite was just as amazing as the first. I love poke bowls, and this was the best one I've ever had. It was so fresh and just perfect. “Came when it wasn't busy. Shared a large poke bowl between the 2 of us which was plenty of food. We ordered salmon, tuna, albacore, and tempura shrimp as our proteins and liked that they offered seaweed salad, mango, mandarin, tamago, edamame, ginger, smelt egg as toppings.
It was a little warm when we stayed indoors to eat. They also had outdoor seating.“

“Haven’t been to this location so I was able to try it today. I got the 2 scoops for $14.50! It was fresh and lots of topping options which was nice. Only the avocado is extra.

They don’t mix the sauce with the protein, they put it on top. I tried the wasabi cilantro sauce on the side and it was good.

“Great service, My friends and I come from Germany, and our English is so so, most of this I had to use Google Translate. However, there was a kind young lady who was able to help us in German with a name something along the lines of Jessi, and she was very helpful, especially for my friends who can't really speak English well. So I wanted to give credit, and the food was great.“

“Went on a Sunday around 530pm. You order at the counter and pay first. Sushi and Ramen were very delicious! Limited bottled soda,juices and filtered water you get on your own. No AC but who cares you're in Newport. Overall great place to eat after the beach.“
