“I didn't get the owners name, but she was out working just like anyone else would and she was so nice and inviting, which is rare these days. The food is excellent! Between that and their service, it's why we keep coming back. We live nearby and like to come in when I have a craving for their eel rice plate. I don't know what it is about their eel. It's better than some excellent sushi I've had and I would consider buying it if they put it in the menu a la carte.

My partner gets the Build Your Own plate. Sometimes we get a macaron ice cream. Sometimes we get a drink. It depends on our mood, but either way, it's always solid.“

“I’m always looking for a new smoothie spot that delivers healthy, nutritious options. Really enjoyed the OG vibe and aesthetic. My smoothie was delicious and tasted nutritious. No heavy sugars. The avocado toast was a perfect blend of new age and home style. Avocado was fresh and topped off with cucumber that had the right amount of crunch. My friend ordered the OG pink and pb banana bagel, which I was encouraged to try next time!“

“Had the grilled fish sandwich. It was a nice piece of the catch of the day. It was grilled perfect. It was placed on a fresh roll with lettuce, tomato, onion and a very good sauce. It was served with fries. We upgraded it to truffle parmesean fries. They were delicious. Our server was very good. The food came quickly. We will go back!“

I had some questions and the chef was very helpful, he answered all my questions and I asked for some suggestions, he was spot on. I also ordered a cooked salmon dish. “It was good. I really enjoyed my poke bowl, and so did my asian mother who actualy doesn’t enjoy very much of anything not Chinese. My mother was kicking and screaming when I suggested the hanger. She was originally going to go somewhere else but I was very surprised when she brought a poke bowl back to our table. And she liked it. I ate a large, ate a half of a bowl, and brought the rest home. Put it in the fridge and took it out and just ate it and it was good! Some places the rice and other stuff isn’t good quality anymore, but nope this was just dandy. I got the brown rice, the salmon, albacore, spicy tuna, and octopus. I got most of everything. Got the asian sauce and the spicy mayo. I am accustomed to having poke bowls not as often but sometimes. But for my mother who I didn’t think would like it, to like it thats pretty good. It was her first time eating a poke bowl too.“

“Been coming here for years since they first opened. Quality is always good every single time. Staff is always friendly. Parking right in front is easy. They add new stuff to the menu often, I stick to the same old stuff for the most part but did grab the spicy garlic shrimp today which I definitely recommend.

They offer stuff other spots don’t like black rice. Grilled chicken.“

“I come here often since it's near my work. I really wanted to post this review so I can show everyone how great my bowl looked. I got a small bowl but the worker packed it so well. Chef's kiss! The service here is fast. Even if they are working on online orders, they make sure to tend to the customers in person first. Everyone is sweet too and they give you extra sauce in the side if you ask.

“Just grabbed some food from Spin Teriyaki & Sushi in La Habra and I gotta say Josh set the tone from the jump. Dude answered the phone like a seasoned telethon closer I half expected him to ask for a donation at the end 😂

Order was dialed in ready right when we walked in and he had everything packed up clean utensils sauces the whole deal. That kind of attention to detail doesn’t happen by accident.

Food was solid no doubt but let’s be real employees like Josh are what actually keep people coming back. You can get food anywhere. Service like that that’s rare.

“Came when it wasn't busy. Shared a large poke bowl between the 2 of us which was plenty of food. We ordered salmon, tuna, albacore, and tempura shrimp as our proteins and liked that they offered seaweed salad, mango, mandarin, tamago, edamame, ginger, smelt egg as toppings.
It was a little warm when we stayed indoors to eat. They also had outdoor seating.“

I was the only customer there at the time, and even after explaining I couldn’t read the labels without my glasses, the responses felt dismissive. At the end, the tip screen was positioned facing the employee, which offered no privacy and made the situation feel awkward given the interaction.“
