“I loved this place when it was Tokyo teriyaki. Even when they changed their name to Poke Yaki, they still sold their original teriyaki menu in addition to the poke. Well, the days of that teriyaki chicken bowl with fried shrimp are over, and its too bad because they had the best teriyaki in town. Their poke, however, is quite excellent, but ill never go back because they gave up on a good thing for something else I dont want as much.

If youre into poke, which i am, this is a great place for that. Im just moving on.“

“We’re visiting long beach for family and decided to stop by at Panda Poke, best decision our entire trip, the food was amazing, the presentation and environment itself was stellar. Between that and their service, it's why we keep coming back. We live nearby and like to come in when I have a craving for their eel rice plate. I don't know what it is about their eel. It's better than some excellent sushi I've had and I would consider buying it if they put it in the menu a la carte.

My partner gets the Build Your Own plate. Sometimes we get a macaron ice cream. Sometimes we get a drink. It depends on our mood, but either way, it's always solid.“

“Had the grilled fish sandwich. It was a nice piece of the catch of the day. It was grilled perfect. It was placed on a fresh roll with lettuce, tomato, onion and a very good sauce. It was served with fries. We upgraded it to truffle parmesean fries. They were delicious. Our server was very good. The food came quickly. We will go back!“

“I come here often since it's near my work. I really wanted to post this review so I can show everyone how great my bowl looked. I got a small bowl but the worker packed it so well. Chef's kiss! The service here is fast. Even if they are working on online orders, they make sure to tend to the customers in person first. Everyone is sweet too and they give you extra sauce in the side if you ask.

I've eaten inside a few times too and the ambiance is fine. Definitely recommend if you are so the area“

“Was in the area and saw this poke spot was close. I stopped in and the food looked really fresh and there was plenty of people inside and it was only 11:30. I ordered the large with 5 scoops and it filled me up. If I’m back in the area I will definitely have to stop and eat again“

When you order the food comes in less then 5 minutes. The price is the best you can get. I got to plates of cail roll and green green beans ONLY for $25.36. “Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I am from Maine and will be sure to stop by this establishment every chance I get once I am in town.“

“Always mine and my family's favorite poke place! Although Jimmy's Poke across from the Walmart is a lot closer to us, Mr. Poke is just top notch, may I say the GOAT. Jimmy's doesn't compete with Mr. Poke's freshness, portions, and atmosphere; Jimmy's is way too expensive for just 2 bowls of poke, and has gone downhill ever since they opened. Jimmy's menu was inconsistent and had quite a few stuff out of stock last time I was there in 2025. However, Mr. Poke has really stepped up with newer decor, quality consistency, and even adding on a stamping system for rewards that'll make us loyal customers come back for more.

Although not fully packed, their patrons sure have increased compared to the first time I tried them in 2020, where there was practically no line and only 1 employee. Not a long wait, but it can get a small line even on the weekdays, so it'll depend. But it's always clean and quiet with a few tables and seats. In addition, they added another employee to the line when I visited today 6 years later, demonstrating how they've grown in reputation.

Ultimately, I'm glad to see a small business growing and getting the recognition it deserves, so I highly recommend them to keep it up! 👏“

“I’ve been looking for a poke place and happened to find this little place. Went there once and the gentleman was very nice and helpful in the selection. My husband and I tried it at home and it was spectacular! Came back today and they were so generous in the quantity. I could say the best poke place I’ve eaten! If only I could afford eating at this place everyday, I would!“

“Just grabbed some food from Spin Teriyaki & Sushi in La Habra and I gotta say Josh set the tone from the jump. Dude answered the phone like a seasoned telethon closer I half expected him to ask for a donation at the end 😂

Order was dialed in ready right when we walked in and he had everything packed up clean utensils sauces the whole deal. That kind of attention to detail doesn’t happen by accident.

Food was solid no doubt but let’s be real employees like Josh are what actually keep people coming back. You can get food anywhere. Service like that that’s rare.
