I ordered lunch online for pick up.
I had the Umami Ahi Combo, half brown rice/half salad plus the Miso soup.

“I come here often since it's near my work. I really wanted to post this review so I can show everyone how great my bowl looked. I got a small bowl but the worker packed it so well. Chef's kiss! The service here is fast. Even if they are working on online orders, they make sure to tend to the customers in person first. Everyone is sweet too and they give you extra sauce in the side if you ask.

I've eaten inside a few times too and the ambiance is fine. Definitely recommend if you are so the area“

“I didn't get the owners name, but she was out working just like anyone else would and she was so nice and inviting, which is rare these days. The food is excellent! Extremely fresh tasting and they have some unique sauces that other poke shops don't! Definitely give this place a chance if you haven't!“

Between that and their service, it's why we keep coming back. We live nearby and like to come in when I have a craving for their eel rice plate. I don't know what it is about their eel. It's better than some excellent sushi I've had and I would consider buying it if they put it in the menu a la carte.

My partner gets the Build Your Own plate. Sometimes we get a macaron ice cream. Sometimes we get a drink. It depends on our mood, but either way, it's always solid.“

“Really fresh and tasty hand rolls! The quality of the fish and rice are good. The place itself is small and meant more for take out. There is outdoor seating in the outside area as well as some limited seats inside but I'd recommend taking it to go. The have the seaweed packaged in a way that it stays dry during while you transport it. Definitely a great place for a quick and healthy lunch. Use the website to pre-order and avoid lines/waiting. Their presentation is also fantastic and a nice touch.“

“This spot is so much better than Jimmy's in Diamond Bar Blvd which I also tried recently. I paid $14 per bowl (three large scoops of protein, with additional $1.50 for avocado) here and got more and better quality food than I received at Jimmy's for over $17 (without avocado, two small scoops of protein).

The amount of food you get, the freshness of the fish and the ingredients - all excellent. This is one of the better poke I've had in this area and I will definitely be coming back.“

“I’m always looking for a new smoothie spot that delivers healthy, nutritious options. Really enjoyed the OG vibe and aesthetic. My smoothie was delicious and tasted nutritious. No heavy sugars. The avocado toast was a perfect blend of new age and home style. Avocado was fresh and topped off with cucumber that had the right amount of crunch. My friend ordered the OG pink and pb banana bagel, which I was encouraged to try next time!“

The server was sweet but could probably speak a little slower and louder 😉. The place could also use a less aggressive cleaner use to wipe down the surfaces because it has such a strong scent. “Out of every single sushi I have tried, not a single one fails to disappoint me. Their crab meat is the best and it does not get better than theirs. Such low prices for VERY high quality and savory foods. Their poki bowls are the best too. Hot warm rice mixed with fresh cold seafood goes perfect with any weather. Especially when it is so savory and refreshing. The prices are shocking for how high quality their food is. Regarding prices, this place has the best seafood out of every single seafood place I have tried in all of Orange and in general. The variety of food is good, the small place is cute, I love the decorations, they are welcoming and their lighting is pretty, it is cozy. The people are always so kind when taking your order. When there is no one, your food comes quickly, very fast for the amount of workers.“

“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I had some questions and the chef was very helpful, he answered all my questions and I asked for some suggestions, he was spot on. I also ordered a cooked salmon dish. “Just grabbed some food from Spin Teriyaki & Sushi in La Habra and I gotta say Josh set the tone from the jump. Dude answered the phone like a seasoned telethon closer I half expected him to ask for a donation at the end 😂

Order was dialed in ready right when we walked in and he had everything packed up clean utensils sauces the whole deal. That kind of attention to detail doesn’t happen by accident.

Food was solid no doubt but let’s be real employees like Josh are what actually keep people coming back. You can get food anywhere. Service like that that’s rare.

“Always mine and my family's favorite poke place! Although Jimmy's Poke across from the Walmart is a lot closer to us, Mr. Poke is just top notch, may I say the GOAT. Jimmy's doesn't compete with Mr. Poke's freshness, portions, and atmosphere; Jimmy's is way too expensive for just 2 bowls of poke, and has gone downhill ever since they opened. Jimmy's menu was inconsistent and had quite a few stuff out of stock last time I was there in 2025. However, Mr. Poke has really stepped up with newer decor, quality consistency, and even adding on a stamping system for rewards that'll make us loyal customers come back for more.

Although not fully packed, their patrons sure have increased compared to the first time I tried them in 2020, where there was practically no line and only 1 employee. Not a long wait, but it can get a small line even on the weekdays, so it'll depend. But it's always clean and quiet with a few tables and seats. In addition, they added another employee to the line when I visited today 6 years later, demonstrating how they've grown in reputation.

Ultimately, I'm glad to see a small business growing and getting the recognition it deserves, so I highly recommend them to keep it up! 👏“

“I've been coming here for the past two years since returning to school nearby. For the price, the poke bowls are definitely worth it—the portions are generous and satisfying.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the rice isn't always consistent. Being Asian, I definitely know my rice! 😂 Other than that, it's in a convenient location, the service is usually fast, and it's been one of my go-to spots.“
