I had an amazing experience at Kappo Sui! It was the first time they did omakase and they hit it out of the park! The fish was super fresh and the rice was perfect, definitely coming back. Kappo Sui also has monkfish liver/ankimo, which is my favorite! The service was lovely and everyone was friendly. It wasn't too loud so my boyfriend and I could talk and hear each other.
I don’t even know where to begin. I was in town on business and met with an associate. We had no idea where we were going to go. Just started in Costa Mesa and took off driving. Finally, I randomly picked this place off Yelp. We pulled in and admittedly I was reticent. It’s very nondescript. At the end of a strip mall, I thought it would probably be one of those places that really good or really bad.
