Good food and service
My husband and I went to Newport Beach for a day. We went to Balboa island to explore. Our experience having lunch at Ciao restaurant was very good. We had Spaghetti marinara con polpette and Rigatoni Joanna. The staff was good but not as good as the one in Little Italy. They were really concerned about the customers. Overall, the restaurant was nice and small.

Ciao Balboa is a hidden gem! It offers fresh bread, delicious garlic butter aioli, and a perfect Caesar salad. The Fettuccine with Vodka sauce was tasty, and the pizza dough and cheese were outstanding. The restaurant is noted for its terrific Italian-American dishes, including unique options like Linguini Jambalaya and Linguine Vongole, which features clams with shell and rich clam meat. Despite parking challenges, the friendly staff and excellent food make it worth a visit. The staff is very professional and even goes the extra mile for guests. A must-try for pizza lovers and anyone looking for delicious food in a unique place!
