“Excellent upscale but casual restaurant. Great selection of beers and other drinks. Open and airy space. The food tastes great and is a good value for the large portions and on point tastes. It is located in an easy to reach mall with lots of open parking.“
“Another great evening at Bob's which we think is the best steakhouse in San Diego County! Food is always perfectly prepared and portions are large. We always split the delicious blue cheese salad which is served on ice cold plates. I ordered the rib eye which came with a giant glazed carrot and a baked potato. My husband had the rack of lamb with the glazed carrot and a baked sweet potato. We ended up bringing enough home for a second meal1 Unfortunately we felt the service was a bit slower than normal and that is normally not the case. We love this restaurant and highly recommend it.“

“We ordered the short rib dish and the baseball steak, both were very good. The oysters were delicious also. I have to tell you though if you are a chocolate lover, they're s'mores dessert with chocolate mousse is over the top delicious. Even though it's delicious, you cannot eat very much in one sitting, so I took it home and it kept beautifully for the next two nights. I will remember that for quite some time.“
“We went on a Sunday after the brunch rush and it was nice and quiet.We had stuffed mushrooms with crab they were good for appetizersI ordered a bloody Mary and a margarita Cadillac and the drinks where good as wellI had the Cesar salad and it was ok but the spinach salad was better!The main meal was delicious I have a filet mignon with a perfectly baked potato and it was very very good!!The wild chicken in mushroom sauce was very good too!!I will definitely go back!!“
“We had already been to the location in uptown Carlsbad and had always wanted to try this location by the beach. The crew members were very courteous and attentive. We were seated at an ocean view location, which was perfect til the screaming kid next to us kept testing the acoustics in the building. The parents had no intention of calming him down. We asked to move to another seat, and we took the option of sitting in the bar area. The outside dining area wasn't available for another hour. Unfortunately, we could periodically still hear the kid screaming, but it wasn't as loud. The food was great! Our waitress was excellent! The seating in the main lobby could've been a little more spacious, and the parking could be an issue if it weren't for the great valet parking. We definitely will be back.“
