“Great service! I had the scallops with polenta and it was so good! The scallops were sweet, the polenta was creamy, and the sourdough bread that was served before the meal was hot, fresh and crunchy. I plan on coming back the next time I'm in Carlsbad.“

“We had already been to the location in uptown Carlsbad and had always wanted to try this location by the beach. The crew members were very courteous and attentive. We were seated at an ocean view location, which was perfect til the screaming kid next to us kept testing the acoustics in the building. The parents had no intention of calming him down. We asked to move to another seat, and we took the option of sitting in the bar area. The outside dining area wasn't available for another hour. Unfortunately, we could periodically still hear the kid screaming, but it wasn't as loud. The food was great! Our waitress was excellent! The seating in the main lobby could've been a little more spacious, and the parking could be an issue if it weren't for the great valet parking. We definitely will be back.“
“This place was on my list of places to try at the Windmill Food Hall and I was so excited to finally try! I did check out the other spots but I always came back to the Lobster Lab! I ordered the lobster roll warmed with butter, a lobster bisque and chips. The lobster bisque came with little crostinis. The bisque was delicious! It was super hot temperature wise and took a second to cool. The lobster roll came with little micro greens on top, a side of butter and a lemon. The amount of lobster in the roll was impressive and it was delicious! I was obsessed with the lobster bisque and have dreaming about it for days. It will definitely be my go-to on the next rainy day. I chatted with the chef and he was so nice and gave me some information about Lobster Lab. If you haven't eaten here, it's a must try!“
“Spent my bday at the beach. Had dinner right before sunset at Dini's. Atmosphere was great, family friendly, and view of ocean across the street. Food was excellent, had the blackened chicken pasta. Glad we found this place for dinner. Will certainly be back when in town.“
“Another great evening at Bob's which we think is the best steakhouse in San Diego County! Food is always perfectly prepared and portions are large. We always split the delicious blue cheese salad which is served on ice cold plates. I ordered the rib eye which came with a giant glazed carrot and a baked potato. My husband had the rack of lamb with the glazed carrot and a baked sweet potato. We ended up bringing enough home for a second meal1 Unfortunately we felt the service was a bit slower than normal and that is normally not the case. We love this restaurant and highly recommend it.“
“After eating here, I am convinced that heaven exists. I could spend a lifetime inside this restaurant and not find a single thing to improve. This is the best poke place I have ever been to in my entire life...top quality everything. There is much more than poke here too. “I’ve lived in the village for a couple of years and I always thought this place would be another semi good Italian restaurant (overpriced and underwhelming), but I was so wrong!We saw a promotion they were running so finally made it there this evening. The lasagna was legitimately the best lasagna I’ve ever had and I’ve had a ton of lasagna in my life. Even the bread and bruschetta style dipping sauce they provide free of charge was outrageously delicious. This place isn’t pretentious at all and to top it off the service was stellar. Highly, highly recommend!“
“We hit Jay's twice... needed a dog friendly patio. Parking lot on busy corner but once the food arrived we didn't notice the traffic. Seafood combo was topnotch. Hot, fresh baked bread sticks disappeared in a blink. Came back for minestrone another day.“

“Stopped by for lunch with friends when we were in Carlsbad. It is located a block away from the beach. It's a casual Mexican Spot with good food and drinks. My husband and I shared the Carlsbad Carne Asada Burrito, Wet, but couldn't decide between green or red salsa so the waiter recommended doing half and half. It was delicious! Everything I love all in a burrito! We also ordered Ernie's Caesar Salad and I expected an ordinary Caesar salad but this one was really good! The dressing was delicious and I think they had different cheese that made it flavorful! What a nice surprise. The staff is very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed this place!“

“Great food and service but they need to do something about the hostess stand location. It is very awkward and there is nowhere to stand when waiting for a table. I moved forward and four groups cut in front of me since the hostess did not ask who was next in line, she just looked at someone else and took their information.“
