The manager and staff were friendly, helpful and inviting. The food was just right, not too salty or buttery and hit the spot. The service was excellent. This location is always a good choice.“

“Great Carlsbad location. Something for everyone. Had their aoli artichoke and it was so yummy. Fast service great food.“

“The kids buffet is like $14, which is the same price as a kids meal at most places around legoland. The adult buffet is like $25 or $27ish (definitely less than $30). This includes a self-serve, all-you-can-eat buffet with fountain drink, salad bar, pasta, and pizza.

The buffet and tables are a bit chaotic since it’s a free for all (you find your own table and people/kids leave a mess on the tables).

The other diners at the restaurant can be gross, like touching food and not using the buffet utensils properly. Like, a lot of the diners are kids since duh it’s legoland. But still.

If you have celiac or a food allergy, tell the host or cashier. Michael (the cook handling allergy/celiac meals) came out to discuss options with me. He was fantastic! He offered to make a gluten-free pizza (cheese, meat lovers, veggie, etc.) that takes ~8 minutes. He also offered GF pasta, though it would take ~30 minutes since they boil it in fresh, uncontaminated water (a good sign!).

Michael made me a delicious GF pizza—thin crust, balanced toppings, and clearly made with care. I also asked if he could make a safe salad since the salad bar is a gluten nightmare (cross-contamination everywhere). He brought out a beautiful, tasty salad and even offered a box for my leftovers.

“We visited Vigilucci's for a special dinner and had a wonderful experience. Despite arriving earlier than our reservation, the hostess was very accommodating. The atmosphere is fantastic—there is nothing like overlooking the ocean while enjoying a fine meal—and the service was both amazing and attentive. The fillet mignons were cooked to perfection and delicious. We did add the shrimp, which were a bit disappointing as they were overcooked and chewy, especially at $10 each. However, overall the food was excellent. While it is on the higher end price-wise, I would certainly recommend it for a special occasion.“

It’s a warm, welcoming pizzeria and Italian restaurant tucked away in La Costa, and it’s quickly become one of my new favorites. We had the chance to meet one of the owners, and she couldn’t have been more friendly and genuine — the kind of hospitality that makes the whole experience even better.

The food was absolutely delicious — classic Italian comfort done right — and the drinks were outstanding. It’s the perfect spot whether you’re out for a date night, grabbing dinner with family, or catching a game with friends. I really enjoyed our evening and can’t recommend Crust enough.“

“The Cioppino seafood soup was really good. My girlfriend loves pasta, bread and Italian food, after seeing an advertisement for a special at this restaurant I knew this would be a good date night dinner opportunity. My girlfriend absolutely loved her pasta dish which I do not remember the name of. I remember when I was a kid my parents loved the Cioppino from some restaurant in Cardiff that no longer exists so when I saw it on the menu I thought for the price it must be amazing and it was. It was very delicious and good. If the Cioppino sounds good and you've never try it olease do!“
