“Had an incredible experience this evening at BOA. Mr. Ousley seated our party in the best seats! My server Mark was outstanding and his service was spot on. Clay and his whole team were On Point. The whole vibe and atmosphere was just perfect. I think I just had the best steak of my life right here in Santa Monica.“

“The kind of night where you stumble into a speakeasy that's usually impossible to get into, only to find they have a one-hour opening before the next reservation. We slid in, ordered drinks, and ended up with one of those bartenders who makes the whole experience.

He was genuinely engaging, traded stories with us, mixed one of the best dirty martinis I've ever had, completely understood why I needed **three** blue cheese-stuffed olives (because two is bad luck), and even surprised us with a little taste of a cocktail we'd been eyeing.

“We ordered first from the happy hour menu, then the bar menu. Everything delicious! Margarita was one of the best I’ve had - no filler juices!

Scallops perfectly cooked. Seafood sausage was a little non-descript in flavor and would have benefited being accompanied by steak knives. The French fries done in bacon fat were amazing. Brussels sprout preparation was a refreshing and delicious change from what’s offered at most restaurants / shredded and tossed in Caesar flavored dressing, topped with bread crumb / cheese crust.

And the Tuesday special - the chicken pot pie! Run don’t walk. Perfectly seasoned and lots of great chicken flavor. And the pastry crust topping / thin and crispy tender. Just exceptional! (From someone who makes her own — maybe I’ll stop making it when I can order such a good one!)“

The band was excellent and over all we had a beautiful time. I suggest that if you decide to go there check the online menu first. I had the salmon and it was heavenly along with the chocolate cake and nice and cheesy Au graten potatoes. You absolutely will not be disappointed when you go trust me.“

Yes, it’s tiny but get there early, secure your seat and you’re in for a ride of the greatest cocktails served up by a ladies and gentlemen’s gentleman - the maker with the shaker, Bill. Seriously, make a friend of this guy and then introduce him and the bar to your favorite people - only your favorite people! The food in the restaurant is great but a tad expensive but the bar will become your new happy place. Bravo“

“I recently dined at the JW steakhouse at the Marriott at LAX, and it was one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in 25 years of traveling the world. The filet mignon was so tender it practically melted in my mouth no steak knife needed. The wedge salad with blue cheese, the glass of red wine, and even the peppercorn sauce though the steak didn’t need it were all spot on. Lisa, my server, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, guiding me through the best wine pairings and making the entire experience feel personal and warm. Daniel, the head chef, was gracious and passionate, and his pride in the cuisine shone through every bite. For a hotel restaurant at an airport to deliver this level of quality is second to none. This meal ranks in my top five, and I can confidently say it was the best steak I’ve had in America.“

“We came here for a coworker's birthday. They called ahead and prepared a special menu with our names on it, along with homemade cheesecake and whipped cream. We ordered the prime rib, broccoli and French onion soup. For the price, I would rate the steak 8.5/10. The service and ambiance of the restaurant was great. “This place has a menu that recalls Cheesecake Factory, insofar as it ranges so far and wide -- from pizza to tacos to thai to steaks to burgers...And from what we've seen, they actually pull it off! We enjoyed our Firecracker shrimp appetizer, the Ceasar salad with salmon, and my Thai-spiced grilled pork chop. Service was friendly and attentive, the place looked great, and my only negative point is that our after-dinner coffee wasn't particularly hot. Great place. Go there.“

“Taste Maker Moet & Chandon Tastemaker Dinner was excellent as usual this year. The start was a bit late. Recommendations. The aperitive should be served to diners as they entered the room so they can meet a mingle. If you want to have a toast, due it with the second wine, or with the remainer of the aperitive after the "late" guests have arrived before out as the first course is served. This would make the start less confusing. Lobster, filet, potatoes and dessert we excellent.“
