Small place made popular by the show Goliath on Amazon. Went here for drinks and appetizers with a friend. Got a good bottle of wine. Recommend getting a reservation. Loved that they had parking in a lot right next to the bldg. The host was really nice and accommodating. Def a place to go if you want to be a regular! I'll be back!
People claim this is a dive bar, but it has only mid to top tier booze options. So while the interior shoes signs of the times (it's historic), this still is a relatively higher end place. I do love the history. The fish in the wall apparently was caught by General Patton off Catalina Island prior to World War 2. I really enjoyed my time here. Bartender was attentive and poured a generous mixed drink.They do offer steak, but this is definitely more of a bar vibe than a restaurant.
