“The food was very good. I dined solo and had chicken liver mousse, the yellowtail crudo, the peach and tomato burrata salad, and the crab cake. The mousse was rich and interestingly paired with pickled blackberries and honeycomb. The crudo was delicious with the refreshing citrus. The salad too felt very fresh and like I was holding on to late summer. The crab cake was good, the sauce had a nice balance of spice and sweetness, it was very salty which is not unexpected with crab. The service was kind and attentive. I was very pleased with my experience and would return again if I'm back in Santa Monica.“

“Excellent service, amazing lobster 🦞 with crab rice. I just wish I was given the prices before agreeing on the upgrade. I ordered a family for 2 and CJ server offered to make it 3ppl. I was kinda surprised with my bills and how the restaurant dictate the gratuity %….Overall, I love dining in this restaurant because we were welcome and were given a great and warm reception. Thank you to the staff who made us feel special especially to CJ she was amazing. Indeed, the most expensive meal I have eaten lol it’s worth it.“

“Seafood quality is better than supermarket quality, and of course this means you’ll pay more for it. The cafe food is great but very pricey coming from someone visiting from out of state. We got the poke bowl, the calamari and clam chowder, the lobster roll, and the Dungeness crab pasta. There is also a good selection of alcohol and Asian sauces as well as vegetables.“

“We visited Edgemar the second time because we had TravelZoo voucher. This time, our experience was exceptional. The service was wonderful with the staff checking on us frequently to see if we need anything as well as clearing out empty dishes. In terms of the food, the menu was kind of limited but with enough variety. I ordered the bread as appetizer. It came out warm and crunchy served with some kind of cheese, it was delicious. For main course, we had salmon and penne pasta with wagyu meatballs. The salmon was cooked to perfection, it was moist inside with crispy skin, the best salmon I've had! The penne pasta was a bit salty and the meatballs were a bit dense but overall was a decent dish. I am glad I gave Edgemar another try, I definitely would come back again, especially for the salmon dish.“

“Asked for a view in a 3/4 empty room, was told 2 people couldn't have the corner seat. Was offered an inferior view so we left. Bad business to turn away a couple over seat preferences. We have never been to a Bubba Gump Shrimp restraunt before, will never return either. Too bad. Went across the pier to Seaside on the pier and have an excellent view.“

“I will like to give a shout out to the chef. I think his name is Shawn or Sean. When we got to Santa Monica, we looked up restaurants to go have our 26 year anniversary dinner, we stayed at Hotel Delmar right across the street. We googled the restaurant menu, and decided what we were going to have. when we got there, and they brought out the menus, all what we decided to have was not on there. I was crushed. Because I had my mind set on the Halibut. I said it's ok I will just have the Ribeye, mind you I had a ribeye steak the night before. When the waiter came back, my wife asked if it's possible to get the Halibut and he said let me check with the chef. He came back later and said the chef said it's no problem. I was blown away. That was the best Halibut ( besides mine) that I have ever had. Thank you chef Shawn. From one chef to another, thank you. you made my night.“

“Had an incredible experience this evening at BOA. Mr. Ousley seated our party in the best seats! My server Mark was outstanding and his service was spot on. Clay and his whole team were On Point. The whole vibe and atmosphere was just perfect. I think I just had the best steak of my life right here in Santa Monica.“

“My wife and I stopped in here on a whim for Wednesday lunch, and everything was fantastic! We had the poke trio, lobster tail with Thai brussels sprouts and purple sweet potatoes, pineapple right side up cake, and the spicy margarita and prickly pear cocktail. Everything was delicious and clearly made with super fresh ingredients, and our server Robert made our day with his warm, personable service and superb recommendations. Can’t praise Pacific Catch—and especially Robert—enough!“

“The experience was amazing at Sugar Palm. The server, Alfred, was so sweet and gave us great recommendations! The steak frites were to die for but if you like more of a lighter meal, definitely try the seared ahi tuna. It was so fresh and the sauce was incredible. Their pineapple margarita was also VERY delicious! You won’t go wrong with anything on the menu.“

“We ended up at Sol Agave because our favorite Mexican restaurant from last year had unfortunately closed. It was already quite late, and the restaurant was only a short time away from closing, so we were not sure whether we would still be able to order food. Fortunately, the staff welcomed us and made sure we were taken care of.

As we often do, we chose seats at the bar. The bartender was very friendly, attentive, and professional, especially considering the late hour. Our drinks arrived quickly and were enjoyable, although they were good rather than exceptional. The food followed soon after. My tortillas were unfortunately a bit too floury for my taste, while the fajitas were perfectly decent and flavorful, but again nothing that really stood out.

Since closing time was approaching, we finished our meal rather quickly. Overall, everything was fine and met expectations. We genuinely appreciate being served so late. However, considering the quality of the food and drinks, we felt the final bill was a little higher than expected. In the end, Sol Agave was a solid experience, but somewhat overpriced for what it offered.“

“It's a very quaint looking restaurant. The music was wonderful. The staff was great. However, the food is extremely expensive and somewhat bland. Whoever seasons the fish barely used salt and there's aren't salt and pepper shakers on any of the tables. I requested salt and was given the hard bits that doesn't absorb into the food. I appreciated the effort though.“

“Stumbled here with two friends after a fail at a place near by. We made it just in time for the happy hour and the waiters were patient and helpful in helping us secure something on that menu.

We shared a range of things and everything was delicious and good quality. I can’t wait to go back and try the menu.

“T’s Thai Restaurant is an absolute gem in Santa Monica. I ordered chicken satay, vegetable tom yum soup, and two Thai iced teas, and every single item was outstanding. The chicken satay was perfectly grilled, tender, and paired with one of the best peanut sauces I’ve had. It was so good I had to order another. The vegetable tom yum was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of spice, citrus, and aromatics. The turmeric root gave it an amazing aroma and flavor. The Thai iced tea was rich, smooth, and the perfect complement to the meal.

Everything tasted exceptionally fresh, and the restaurant was spotless. The food was so good that I ended up ordering more because I didn’t want the experience to end. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in both quality and consistency.

If you’re looking for authentic Thai food with amazing flavors, generous portions, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere, T’s Thai Restaurant is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back.“
