“What a hidden gem in Santa Monica! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was casual and welcoming. They serve some of the most authentic Korean and Japanese dishes I’ve had in the area. The staff were incredibly friendly, and everything was spotless. I came with my husband and our 4-year-old, and we all had a wonderful experience. 💕 The Calamari Fries were definitely the highlight for me. Highly recommend!“

“Glad Hurry Curry has reopened after closing their Sawtelle location. if you are new and don't know what to order, try the chicken cutlet curry and the Chicken pasta with Alfredo sauce. The curry is bold and savory. make sure to request picked vegetables for the curry. the chicken pasta is also rich and savory. both dishes complement each other without repeating the same experience. the portions are large so bring friends or bring home plenty of portions for leftovers.“

“Greek Salad is nice and the workers are nice. I tried chicken gyro but it is far far away from what it tastes like in Greece, the only familiar taste was the pita bread. The tzatziki sauce is also bland, needs more improvment. Overall it's an okay place that I would recommend to eat at.“

This place is one of my favorite “third spaces” for working when I need a change of environment from the home office (there are tables that overlook the pool), painting (I’m a huge fan of the paint and sip classes) or just hanging out. Neighbors can consider it a great resource for meals and snacks off the beach (and anytime), entertaining for occasions and even just to grab a bottle of wine or party-food supplies for friends who drop by. “If you’re anywhere near Santa Monica and craving AMAZING pizza, this place is an absolute must. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel so welcome, the vibes are always warm, friendly, and cozy. It’s the kind of pizza parlor that instantly feels like your go-to spot.

My personal favorites are the Spicy Bear and the Bianco pizzas… both are insanely delicious and packed with flavor. And don’t even get me started on the spicy BBQ wings, the PERFECT balance of sweet and spicy. I literally crave them all the time.

A huge shoutout to Ruben, who always goes above and beyond to make customers feel welcomed. His energy, personality, and friendliness truly make the experience even better every single time.

“Was in Downtown Santa Monica for errands and happened to park right across from Sweetgreen. Just a heads up — parking right in front is limited to 15 minutes, so keep an eye on the time if you park there.

Pretty standard sweetgreen overall. Clean, organized, nothing unusual. It was crowded during lunch time, but while I was eating the place cleared out pretty quickly.

I ordered the Crispy Rice Bowl and of course the Ginger Green drink — both pictured.

If I’m being picky, I’d say some other sweetgreen locations feel a little cleaner. But during lunch rush it’s either constantly cleaning after messy customers or keeping the line moving fast, so I get it.

Friendly staff, food tasted the same as every other sweetgreen. Hard to mess it up if you follow the formula.

It's important to note that this is not to be confused with Barney's Beanery. The burger of the month was the Santa Fe, which came highly recommended by my friend. It featured caramelized onions and jalapeños, offering a slight kick, but the real highlight was the incredibly juicy patty and the generous portion of meat. I also thoroughly enjoyed the skinny fries.\nOur server, Kira, was fast, efficient, and super friendly—Thank You, KIRA! (Sometimes people forget that it's more about the food but the service definitely is part of the experience.)\nThe restaurant has a cozy, café-like atmosphere, and the service was excellent—quick and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Wednesday price for the burger (burger of the month) was just $12, a significant reduction from the usual $18.95. Daelan was very helpful with describing menu choices and portion sizes. He was very courteous and dressed very neat and clean. I will continue to visit for the healthy food and good service.“

I was craving the Thai Crunch Salad, Large. I couldn't finish it so I took the rest home and had it the next day and it was still yummy. The grilled chicken in this salad was cooked perfectly and the grilled taste, amazing!! Faruq, our server was On Point and was very attentive with a smile!
