We've been looking for a good sandwich place in Santa Monica for at least a year now and we finally found it! We've tried the BLT and the roast beef sandwich and both were absolutely amazing. The ingredients are super fresh and the bread is perfect. The Picnic Nachos were fantastic too! Highly recommend!!!
Stopped in for kombucha, and got a roast beef sandwich to match. The chef's here used to work at Trois Mec, and their expertise shows. I ordered a whole sandwich and asked for half of that to be wrapped up to go; I ended up eating all of it in one sitting. The focaccia bread was very good, and the roast beef was tasty, and the greens (arugula perhaps?) and cheese were a lovely mix.

Hands down, the best sandwich you can get in Ocean Park. It’s a small shop operating out of the Juneshine location, but it’s worth the trip. Every sandwich he makes is great with the BLY arguably the best, but they’re all amazing. Do yourself a favor and walk past the overrated and crowded Heavy Handed and get a sandwich from Bread Head instead.
