Hands down, the best sandwich you can get in Ocean Park. It’s a small shop operating out of the Juneshine location, but it’s worth the trip. Every sandwich he makes is great with the BLY arguably the best, but they’re all amazing. Do yourself a favor and walk past the overrated and crowded Heavy Handed and get a sandwich from Bread Head instead.

We've been looking for a good sandwich place in Santa Monica for at least a year now and we finally found it! We've tried the BLT and the roast beef sandwich and both were absolutely amazing. The ingredients are super fresh and the bread is perfect. The Picnic Nachos were fantastic too! Highly recommend!!!

Stopped in for kombucha, and got a roast beef sandwich to match. The chef's here used to work at Trois Mec, and their expertise shows. I ordered a whole sandwich and asked for half of that to be wrapped up to go; I ended up eating all of it in one sitting. The focaccia bread was very good, and the roast beef was tasty, and the greens (arugula perhaps?) and cheese were a lovely mix.

This is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in years. I got the muffuletta and my wife the mozzarella. Instead of hitting you with a bunch of fillings or some crazy sauces instead they get you with the highest quality ingredients and some of the best bread I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend it more.

Great sandos - fast and friendly. Currently set up in the June Shine on Main. Upsetting they are moving to Montana Ave in Santa Monica bc no businesses last more than a year or two there and these are the kind of sandos you want around for the long haul. Hoping for the best!

Stopped by to pick up another sandwich. So very good. They were sold out of roast beef so will have to try again, SOON. I grabbed a muffaletta which was amazing. Slathered in a spicy olive spread, sando perfection. I love the thin excellence of their focaccia. Can't recommend enough.

Great sandwiches... we had muffelatta and the ham & butter. Both were excellent! The real rockstar was the absolutely amazing bread. Can't imagine better sandwich bread anywhere. These guys have a home run...

The front is a bar with different types of drinks, featuring June Shine, and in the back is where you order the sandwiches. They offer large portion sizes and come in half or full size. The bread is also terrific and crunchy and really adds to the overall flavor.The sandwiches here are honestly addicting. Today we tried the Roast Beef (my fav), the BLT (large and delicious), and the Mozzarella (a great vegetarian option with great flavors). Parking in the area can be tricky depending on when you go but they do have a large pay lot in the back if needed. I definitely plan to be back soon and would recommend to any fan of a great sandwich.

They are still serving sandwiches at this location, but the place is named June Shine - 2914 Main St, Santa Monica, CA 90405. I went today and had the Muffaletta sandwich. It was big and quite good. The olive spread is a bit strong, which was okay for me, as I like olives. I look forward to going back and trying some of their other sandwiches.
