“Nestled within the vibrant community of The Shores, The Cafe beckons with promises of culinary delights and warm hospitality. Intrigued by its reputation for fusion cuisine and cozy ambiance, I recently embarked on a gastronomic journey to uncover the treasures hidden within.I had the chance to try their new item Kimchi Fried Rice Bowl, I was immediately transported to a realm of savory bliss. The rich umami flavors of the kimchi mingled harmoniously with the hearty goodness of the fried rice, creating a symphony of tastes that danced upon my palate. Each forkful offered a delightful contrast of textures—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside—and left me craving more with every bite. The addition of perfectly cooked vegetables added a refreshing touch, while the subtle heat of the kimchi provided a satisfying kick that lingered pleasantly on the tongue.“

“Came here for lunch, sandwich was good but my broccoli cheddar soup was water downed, tasted bland and had little bits of broccoli stem. Either this was old soup from another day or manager neglect at work. I had broccoli cheddar soup before and is my favorite but not at this location.“

“The food here is always so good, fresh, and juicy sandwiches. I love the freshly made lemonades mixed with other essential fruits to make it crisp. Don't let the seating from the outside fool you. There's plenty of seating inside and in the back. Worth sitting down and eating instead of grabbing a lunch and being on the go. Give yourself a break. My friend and I were looking for a place to eat in Santa Monica and as soon as we saw Mendocino farms, we both said... Even though it's a chain the restaurant, it's a good one. And it is a good one. Prices are reasonable. I got the chicken caprese sandwich And they doused it with balsamic vinegar which made it so juicy. They are service dog friendly. I appreciate that. During lunch hours, they should have more cashiers, or more help in general. I felt the 15 minute line to place my order was a bit long for lunch hour, I went at 1:00 p.m., and then we waited another 15 minutes for our sandwiches to come out. It's probably better to place your order online, go in and pick it up, then sit down and eat it. It's probably more efficient. However, I like having the offline experience. I kind of like having the human interaction. But the staff was friendly. It was just slow.“
