“I walked in to get my usual order and i was greeted by a friendly cashier. Although this time i noticed that the manager seemed to be rude and pushy towards employees. I asked the cashier for the managers name and they told me it was Cindy. The cashier was already handling multiple orders and she was rushing him but she had an attitude as if she was annoyed I think management needs to look at the way their managers are to their employees.“

Despite the wait times the employees here are great I can tell by the bad reviews these are individuals who have never had experience behind the house. Then I find out I made a mistake and the employee Silvia and the manager Alba, went above and beyond to assist me with my order. They also took the time to explain some of the pricing and how to order through online to help simplify for future orders. “Ordered on line, first time. Wasn't sure I wanted to, but thought I would try because that was the only way to get buy one get one free. To my surprise the meat was fresh tasting and also the veggies. I had not been here in a long time because the last time I purchased a sandwich the meat was not fresh. “I don’t usually give out 5 stars… but this spot is a gem… and a diamond in the rough… I’d have never expected a sandwich spot in Santa Monica that shares the space with a tobacco/cigar store… but wow… color me impressed… super super nice guy working the counter and making the sandwiches, I’m assuming he’s the owner… I asked for a recommendation on his favorite, and he said the tuna… which I appreciated for a number of reasons but hits different when the owner is recommending the least expensive sandwich… usually it’s the opposite. Please listen to me, this is one of the top 2-3 best tuna sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. Loved the additional fresh ingredients, from chopped eggs to cucumbers, lettuce and fresh red peppers. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone.. also the bread was a perfect toasted pillowy texture that I couldn’t get enough of. Top tier“

I believe there was one vegan sandwich also. I ordered the Giving Tree sandwich , it came on delicious homemade focaccia bread with spicy mayo, herbed turkey, cheese and arugula. What a fantastic sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and was sliced SUPER THIN. The bread was really good quality. Also they sell Zapps chips which I love. The voodoo flavor is the ultimate OG.“

All the ingredients were super fresh.

The signature sandwiches are all very unique. But if there is something specific that you want, there’s the option to do a custom sandwich.

I will absolutely be coming back next time. Next time I I am going to try a smoothie and report back.“

“WOAH. Best banh mi I ever had. They put them on freshly made baguettes that they make (so it’s fresh and crisp)! The chicken and veggies were so perfectly fresh and delicious! Filling and you don’t feel like you ate a heavy sandwich—this the place. The biscoff latte, also the shit. While waiting for my order also got to buy my Asian chili sauce for my house that most Asian restaurants have (if you are a frequent buyer of this, was also a nice convenience!)
It’s right in front of Tesla chargers so also can be most efficient charge/snack ever.

“I stopped by Mike’s Deli in DTLA on my way to Union Station, and I’m glad I did! While the store itself isn’t flashy at all, they do produce some extremely good sandwiches.

The girl working at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Mike’s Deli #1, which is essentially a spicy version of a turkey avocado sandwich. The sandwich was super fresh and bursting with flavor.

Really, every aspect of this sandwich was memorable, and the meat-to-vegetable-to-bread ratio was on point. The bread was very fluffy and nice, too.

It’s an d-school, simple deli that doesn’t stand out cosmetically, but it’s clean, welcoming, and they pump out some top-tier deli sandwiches at reasonable prices.“

We did, got our order and there was stuff in the sandwich missing so we had to go up to them again and have them add the toppings. “Little sandwich place tucked inside the food court of an office building, appealing to the lunchtime crowd. Limited menu, but everything is good and made fresh. Some of the less ordered dishes can take up to 10 minutes, esp during prime lunch hour when the line is long. Even so, ordering is quick amd the food is good.“

“This place is a hidden gem. The Philly cheesesteak with fries/drink combo is one of my favorite lunches on the westside. Plenty of well seasoned meat & veggies, and the option to add lettuce/tomato/mayo - which I do. And the sandwich is very neatly wrapped in paper and cut in half - making it easy to eat. The crinkle cut fries are always perfectly cooked - with a crisp outside, but still fluffy inside, and then enhanced with seasoning (Lawry’s maybe?). Plus self-serve Coke fountain beverages (a sign says only 1 refill, but they don’t seem to be stingy with this).

They also have teriyaki bowls and burgers - but I haven’t tried those yet.

They have a GREAT selection of bottled & canned sodas/drinks, including Jarritos, Jones, Boylan, and Snapple - big winners!

The inside is dated and worn…and it’s perfect!

“If there’s one place known for Vietnamese coffee, it’s this one. That sweet, creamy, ice-cold brew will keep you wired longer than any energy drink. It’s strong, but in the best way. Don’t even bother asking for less ice because the drink is meant to be diluted. Without it, the coffee is way too concentrated (even their bottled version at Costco says to mix it with ice or water!).

As for the food, their banh mi are always solid. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Prices have crept up over the years, but that’s pretty much everywhere now. Still worth the visit.“

“Off-the-charts delicious. And that’s coming from someone who’s eaten pizza all over the world — including unforgettable Neapolitan pizza in Naples.

I ordered a slice of the “Green” pizza and the Caesar salad, which is hands down the best Caesar I’ve ever had. The pizza crust is incredibly flavorful with the perfect consistency, and the edge of the crust had just the right thickness with beautiful airy pockets. Absolute perfection.

The Caesar deserves its own shoutout: homemade croutons that were so good they could be a menu item on their own.

100% recommend. And to top it all off, as I was leaving, I got to meet Chris Bianco himself — what a treat!“
