Some of the best sandwiches you'll ever have. I was skeptical for years because who would ever think you'd get a DELICIOUS sandwich at a gas station? One day we got sandwich catering at work, and I IMMEDIATELY asked WHERE IS THIS FROM? I'm getting another one after work! Only to find out it was Charlie's from ARCO. I been living in Wilmington for the past 7 years and finally tried Charlie's. I had the turkey club. It was turkey, bacon, mayo lettuce and tomato. I had it on wheat and even the bread was fantastic. The turkey was very flavorful along with the crispy bacon in every bite. I liked it so much I went there 2 days in a row and got one for my work lunch. Service was fantastic. Take out food only! Best kept sandwich secret in Wilmington! I'm reluctant to post this review because I don't want longer lines than they already are! Subs, the Charlies Special, Pastrami, and fresh made Tuna or Chicken salad are all on my list of faves! Potato and Mac salad sides or fresh made soups round it out.
