“Our church, Triedstone MBC, just hosted a luncheon for our leadership team. It was catered by Darrow’s New Orleans Grill. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “Plantita’s Kitchen is AMAZING! Some of the best vegan Mexican food you’ll have. Everything tastes fresh, homemade, and full of flavor.
Aileen helped us out and was incredibly kind and accommodating. I really love that they’ll even customize your order if you want less salt, more flavor, or have other preferences.
I got the carne asada tacos and they were SO GOOD! I also ordered the al pastor and mushroom versions so I could try a few different options, and everything was delicious.
If you’re looking for great vegan Mexican food that actually tastes homemade, definitely check this place out. Great food and genuinely kind people. Highly recommend!“

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“Fast serving delicious food. If my daughter didn't tell me it was Vegan I wouldn't have known 😉. I am definitely going back. I had a chicken pita and my daughter the chilaquiles...yummy ***Update 9/23/26 I have gone back and they still deliver awesome food. I even get my vegan birthday cakes here. We especially love the carrot 🥕 cake!!!“
