Chicken Salad Chick Adds New Orleans to Its Menu
Chicken Salad Chick, the nation's sole fast-casual chicken salad restaurant concept, has signed a multi-unit franchise agreement to open four locations in New Orleans, with the first slated to debut in 2025.
The company has seen a 13% increase in unit count year-over-year and $353 million in systemwide sales in 2024, a 38% jump from 2021. On top of that, the average restaurant is now making $1.5 million. Chicken Salad Chick already has locations all across the South, but New Orleans will be a brand-new market.

Behind this expansion are Bill and Anne DiPaola and their partners, Tiffany and Paul Spring. The group brings diverse skills to the table - Bill is CEO of NHG LLC and on the International Franchise Association's Legislative Action Group, Anne has over 20 years in communications and development, Tiffany has spent 21 years in healthcare administration, and Paul is a surgeon.
But it's not just business for this team. Chicken Salad Chick's philanthropic efforts struck a chord with the DiPaolas. "Once we found out about the Chicken Salad Chick Foundation and their dedication toward community involvement, we knew it was a perfect match!" said Bill, an advocate for the homeless. Anne, a stage 3 cancer survivor, shares this passion for giving back.
Tiffany was also sold on the brand's straightforward menu and community focus. "I've been a fan of Chicken Salad Chick going all the way back to high school when I ate there every day for four years," she said.
"It's exciting to see Chicken Salad Chick enter a culinary hub like New Orleans," said Mark Verges, VP of Franchise Development. "We're thrilled to continue expanding our footprint and sharing our delicious menu items to new customers."
