Chicken Salad Chick Plans 21 New Locations Across Texas

Popular fast-casual chain Chicken Salad Chick continues its growth in Texas. This week the brand unveiled plans to open 21 new restaurants statewide over the next five years.

The development deals involve both new and existing franchisees eager to bring Chicken Salad Chick's meals to more Texans. The expansion will increase the number of Chicken Salad Chick locations in Texas from 30 currently to over 50 by 2028.

This comes right after a 3-store agreement for Midland, Odessa and San Angelo. Franchisees Troy Morrison and Keaton Craig have now inked an 11-unit deal to develop the Austin area. Morrison is also behind a separate 6-unit agreement in Oklahoma City.

According to Chicken Salad Chick CEO Scott Deviney, “As our brand awareness and guest loyalty continue to increase, we are seeing high demand for franchise opportunities and tremendous growth potential throughout Texas.”

Chicken Salad Chick, which handcrafts chicken salads daily from premium ingredients, aims to become "America's Favorite Place for Chicken Salad." With rich menu varieties like Jalapeño Holly and Buffalo Barclay, it's easy to see why Texans love these made-from-scratch meals. The brand's newest Texas opening is set for January 17 in New Braunfels.

The expansion gives guests in Austin, Lubbock and beyond more chances to experience Southern hospitality paired with Chicken Salad Chick's signature southern comfort flavors.
