“Amazing place! While I didn't get any fresh fish and instead chose the chicken which was delicious, they display their fresh fish for the customers to see and you can even pick out the fish yourself! It's truly a one of a kind experience, also their ice cream is delightful!“
“I have been to other Ocean Prime locations and had a great meal during each of those visits, but I would say this Beverly Hills location is probably my favorite overall. The flavors were as great as I remembered and I just loved how upscale and well done the specific location is. Erik, our server, was absolutely fantastic and really made the meal a better one. Inside is especially large, open, and kept dark which is really nice because it felt like your conversation was more private. They really space out the tables so it didn’t feel like everyone was overlapping each other in terms of conversations. They don’t have a parking lot and street parking is quite hard to find in this part of town so your best option will be their valet for $15 or a nearby parking garage for $10.One of my favorite things about Ocean Prime is their large and diverse menu. There is something for everyone here. I started off with the Lobster Bisque because it’s one of my favorite bisques that I have had at any restaurant. This one was as good as all the others. Next I followed up with the Steak Tartare, and it was fantastic. The soft crostini was a great vehicle for the tartare. For my entrée, I chose the Chilean Seabass and although I wish that portion of fish was a bit larger, it still was delicious. I especially liked the truffle vinaigrette on top. I was going to do the Warm Butter Cake that I’ve had in the past, but at this point in the meal I was just too full.Overall a fantastic seafood and contemporary American restaurant in a beautiful part of town. It is a bit expensive, but it’s certainly worth it. I would recommend to anyone for any occasion.Parking: valet for $15“
“Jane was such an excellent server. She's a real pro. Very friendly, with pleasant conversation. .. I would have given the food 5 stars except for the side dishes. I happen to love hash browns, and these were not up to minimal standards. They seemed to be left over from the previous shift - cold and stale. In addition, $14 should bring a sharable portion for two. We received an average sized portion for one. Suggestion for the chef: Go to Joe's Stone Crab in South Beach and replicate their hash browns. Seriously. Your guests will appreciate it. The broccoli might have been steamed for 60-90 seconds, and therefore was barely cooked. C'mon. I know The Grill on The Alley can do better.“
“I tried the ribs and they were exceptional, the cole slaw and fries were very tasty, the price is high but it is normal for BH. The recommended wine was not the right one, and the cost is high per bottle, but again, typical for LA in general. The atmosphere and the place are good, the service too, you usually have to wait in line, from what we saw there is always a waiting list. Totally recommended.“
“We had a very nice birthday dinner for my friend.Service was excellent.Wait time for food was a little long. One suggestion is have a spicy level for those with a sensitive palette. We ordered a side of mango to cool down the heat and that hit the spot :) Overall great experience , definetly be back.“
“Today was my birthday ?. I wanted nice ambiance, good food and excellent service. Crustaceans is the place we started with champagne, crab ? cakes and delicious delicate wontons, truffle Caesar, accompanied by lemon drop martini and for main course garlic noodles & Dungeness Crab. Absolutely delicious ?“
“This was a birthday surprise for a person in our 4 Adult/ 2 children party. As expected, we were seated rather quickly because we had reservations & arrived when we said we would. Our server was extremely professional & handled our drinks & appetizers. One of the grandchildren is always a little disengaged but she knew what to bring him.The restaurant is beautiful.I've eaten in some very elaborate locations. This place didn't disappoint. They make the salad in front of you. I requested vineger & oil so mine was separated from the rest before they completed it.My wife loved her shrimp cocktail, I had the shrimp "poppers"....Our orders for the Entrees were taken, we had our "beverages" refilled. Judging from the what I was seeing at other tables, I was anticipating a quality meal. When the time came, rolling out the "slabs of meat" & carving the cuts is something I always enjoy watching. My selection "medium rare" was perfect. The spicy horseradish was delicious. The children were extremely happy & satisfied. (How often can you say that?)My wife was smiling the biggest smile - something every husband loves to see. (Her daughter & son-in-law were happy to share her birthday with her)We ordered a birthday dessert for my wife. (complimentary)We added a very large large ice cream with chocolate syrup for the rest of us to dig into.(we did quietly & rapidly "sing"/ whisper "Happy Birthday" because it didn't seem appropriate to be boisterous)Everyone was full. There were leftovers. In case you're wondering "is it expensive"?Well, it's not Chuck E Cheese. You get what you pay for.“
“The tempura here is amazing. This is the only tempura restaurant on the entire West coast. I believe that the only other tempura restaurant in America of similar quality is the only tempura restaurant in New York (Tempura Matsui). Other than these 2 places, tempura of this standard can only be found at the best tempura restaurants in Japan. The batter is perfect. The oil is pure and just the right temperature. The cooking time is just right. The result is the thinnest layer of crispiness, nothing at all like most Americans are used to. The underlying ingredients (whether vegetables, shrimp, scallops, uni) are top quality and perfectly fresh. True, the restaurant is expensive, but to see how perfect (and greaseless) tempura can be, Temura Endo is the place.“
““The best Cantonese Chinese restaurant in LA Westside is right here!”LA's food is diverse.Chinese food is one of the most popular food genres, so popular that there is a Chinese restaurant on every block, but strangely, there are almost no proper Chinese restaurants in the West area of LA. For me, as a Korean, this is truly a sad thing. Meanwhile, a new Chinese restaurant opened on La Cienega Blvd, where high-end restaurants are concentrated, and I visited it five times during my one year in the United States. And when I left the U.S., it became the restaurant I was most sad to part with. Let me summarize my visits to the restaurant.#atmosphereFirst of all, everyone from Usher to the servers are Chinese. It is quite rare to find a restaurant staffed entirely by Chinese in the Beverly Hills area, but the staff here is made up entirely of Chinese, as if boasting a certain authenticity. The interior has a neat and luxurious atmosphere as if it were a restaurant located in a high-end restaurant area. The spacious and open interior, bright lighting, and white tablecloths are clean.#menuThe menu is great. As a seafood restaurant, there are lobsters, crabs, clams, shrimps, fish, etc. and even a variety of roast duck and dim sum menus. Every time I visit, I order a variety of different menu items.#lobsterIn the United States, when you order lobster, most people give you Maine lobster. (The one with the big claws we commonly know...) Perhaps because I visited in early January, I recommended Australian lobster as the holiday special lobster. The server boasted that it was much bigger and meatier. So, I placed an order, but I was a little nervous because the price was cheap. The lobster the server brought out was a monster lobster that was difficult to hold with one hand (I'm regretting not taking a picture for a long time). My wife and I agreed to order the giant lobster we only saw on TV.- Two offers – freeFirst of all, I asked for it to be cooked with the house special sauce... and the server made two special suggestions.1. I will cook the tail with special sauce and the head and legs with Chinese soup.2. Laying noodles under lobster dishes looks amazing.I said OK to both suggestions and waited for my food.- Special sauceLobster The lobster cooked Chinese style is amazing, and the sauce here is really delicious.A classic dish with a salty and slightly spicy taste! The amount of meat was huge and the meat was chewy, so I was very satisfied. In addition, the egg noodles under the salty sauce are soft and a great recommendation to satisfy your carbohydrate needs!- Lobster SoupThe light lobster soup with a subtle ginger flavor was refreshing. In addition, I added nurungji to make it <lobster nurungji stew>, and the combination of the cool seafood flavor and the savory nurungji was surprisingly excellent.- seedsEven if the seeds are thick, will they be this thick?I usually don't eat lobster legs, but on this day, the lobsters were so huge that I was really surprised that the peeled lobster legs were as big as my finger. Plus, the lobster leg meat was really chewy, making it more fun to eat.- priceI thought it was a really good price since it cost 250,000 won in our money for being this size and cooked like this.#Clam_Basil #Stir-fried Basil ClamBasil is used a lot in Chinese cuisine... especially when combined with clams, its power is doubled. As this restaurant specializes in seafood, the basil seeds are huge. It is not the small clams that are used in soup at Korean clam kalguksu restaurants, but larger clams than your thumb. I am delighted by the size of the clams and amazed by the richness of their flesh. Isn't the perfect combination of the scent of basil and pepper and garlic the most delicious shellfish dish in the world? It's a happy dish that makes you feel like you're doing it.#Beijing_Duck #BeijingDuckAlthough it is a seafood restaurant, the barbecue lineup is also excellent. What's unique about this restaurant's Peking duck is... The carving method is similar to carving c“

“Stopped in here because traffic report said 2 hours home. Early on a Wednesday, nobody here. A little concerned I took a seat with my Dad and hoped for the best. It's mid-week after all... Service was excellent! Henry was our server and he was great! He was super patient and went through everything for us. Sure the place was empty but it's evident that they really care. And the food was even better! Wonton soup had the perfect amount of pepper, and a nice blend of unique wontons, chicken, shrimp and vegetables. Soup dumplings also excellent! The honey prawns were terrific and the rice was some of the best fried rice I've ever had! Best part was the tea! Must be a secret recipe.... Sorry I didn't take pics of the food, was too hungry. But the tea presentation in the cast iron pot and the lovely dishes are attached. When we left at 7, the place started filling in with guests.... Not bad for a Wednesday! Very happy to see that because you want a great place like this to do well! We will be back....“
“Placed an order thru DoorDash and arrived to a very busy NYE crowd. Was informed that my order would take longer than expected to be prepared. Joe assured me that he would do whatever he could to expedite my order and politely apologized for the inconvenience. He even took down my number so that he could text me the minute it was ready. Later, when I arrived to pick it up, it was packaged to perfection! Joe had even included a little extra treat as a thank you for being so patient. Thanks Joe for saving my family’s NYE dinner and making it so special!“
“I liked this location compare to others. It's nice open and bright inside restaurants. Staffs are very helpful giving advice as we ordered for group people. Food taste good. I like so many small appetizers (panchan? ) overall good experience“
“Food was excellent, as was the service. The waiter was available but not intrusive. The Dim Sum plates were good sized, and the Mushoo, Shisito peppers, and Black Cod were all cooked perfectly. And the flourless chocolate cake was sublime. While the Starters and Dim Sum sections of the menu have numerous vegetarian options, there is also a separate "Garden" section of the menu for vegetarian entrees. Very Vegan friendly.Vegetarian options: While the Starters and Dim Sum sections of the menu have numerous vegetarian options, there is also a separate "Garden" section of the menu for vegetarians. “I went for my birthday based on reviews & I needed something to enjoy. I’m typically a Ruth Chris girlie, but I’ve been so many times. I took myself btw. I made a reservation, valet was very kind, I couldn’t even tell you how many people checked on me to make sure I was doing okay but I appreciated everything. The bread was amazing, the recommendations were amazing, even the other guest in the restaurant were sweet and told me happy birthday & took pictures of me. The atmosphere was beautiful, the lighting was perfect too. They even gave me a birthday card & the dessert was a 10/10. It was literally the best birthday I’ve had in years. It was worth every penny and I highly recommend coming here again.“
