Thank you so much for correcting the situation, I’m glad faregrounds has integrity and amazing customer service. Yesterday I tried the spicy don and banana matcha - both were so delicious. I loved the crispy chicken in it , I’m so impressed that it’s completely organic and no bad oils. As for the matcha it wasn’t overly sweet, it was just right. I really want to try your other options next.

3/27/26 - Unfortunately I did not like the food. I ordered the cheesesteaks and it grossed me out. Why dont you guys cut off the fat. You really think I want to pay $20 for a sandwich full of blubber?“

“Quickly becoming my favorite chocolates! We first tried these as a gift item at work holiday party, but *surprise* these were actually really really good chocolates! My partner ended up ordering me more, and now it’s become a bit of a tradition in our household. They always do lovely holiday themed bon bon sets. The chocolate is always very fresh with creative fillings - a real treat. We order shipping to NYC and it’s great every time.“

“Layla Bagels is a uniquely special bagel place with creative flavors and addictively good & chewy bagels .

I got the Evil Steve on a jalapeños cheddar bagel for brunch and it was perhaps the best brunch bagel of my life ! The combination of slightly spicy pepper jam with tangy goat cheese smear and delicious smoked turkey wrapped in the jalapeño cheese bagel is extraordinary. Best part was the crunchy and crispy shallots to add that final profile in an already special bagel . Out of this world good .

They are also offering a gluten free bagel which is also rare to see .

If Layla were to ever expand to other states they would have a huge following.

“Real as it gets. Really good coffee. Got the cream top drink, sweet cream on top and long black underneath. I didn't know what long black is so for those like me, it's like an Americano except the espresso is poured on top of water (rather than the water into the espresso) which apparently makes it taste richer.

Idk about all that hoopla, but here's what I can tell you, it tastes damn good.

With each sip you get the perfect mix of flavors. First you taste the rich, strong, and bitter (in the best way) coffee - which also has a tiny hint of orange which works wonderfully. Then, just as it's about to become overpowering, you get the sweet cream on the back of the tongue, balancing it out. Each sip was a delight.

That said, by the time I was 70ish% done, I wasn't enjoying it as much. I'm unsure why, but wanted to share my honest feedback. I really wanted to like it as much as I first did, but toward the end maybe the balance was off or something, or the underlying flavors didn't work as well as I thought, but didn't like it as much.

Still, I will return. Very good coffee.“

All their pastries are amazing, I wish I lived closer 💔 Yes, they have a non-vegan establishment next door that is technically in the same building, and I believe it is a shared kitchen, but I’ve never had any issues. “We went with my friend who has raved about this place since arriving in the area and let me tell you it did not disappoint! Ordered the seafood tamales and sweet potato quesadillas (pictured) The service was great, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the owners were friendly and attentive to their customers. “Between a 3 and 4 star for the following reasons:

Cons: the salmon in the bowl was too fishy for my liking even though the rest of the bowl was good. My friend said her raw tuna was fine though. They give all iced drinks in plastic cups for sit down, that is not ok in 2026. The noise inside is unbearably loud with no sound proofing and loud pop music on top of that. Wish they did table service though I won’t hold that against them since a lot of places make you order at the counter as well.

Pros: beautiful beachy decor, clean, great friendly service, delicious matcha and other than the salmon the food was delicious.

All in all will come back and see if the other dishes are good.“

“Guisasos is an LA institution that has maintained quality and consistensy over the 10+ years I've eaten their superb food even after multiple expansions. Flawless braised taco fillings, topped with a delicious dollops of sauce that are meant to complement the flavor as well as the color of the main ingredient. Thoughtful vegan and vegetarian options as well as meat heavy tacos. Handmade corn tortillas perfect sized. Tamales are awesome too. Of note, no bathroom and the lot is a paid lot however i have never seen enforcement so we always just take the chance.“

“Stopped by Chaumont Bakery & Café in Beverly Hills and got the guava cream cheese danish. It was excellent: nice flaky, crisp layers that held together well, with a balanced filling of bright, tangy guava and smooth cream cheese. The flavors worked perfectly together.
The place is clean, bright, and smells amazing when you walk in. Staff was friendly and quick; they warmed it up for me without asking. The display has a good range of croissants and other pastries, and prices feel fair for the quality! Coffee was solid too.
It’s a dependable spot with high standards—definitely worth going back for this pastry or to try others.“

“Bacio Di Latte is now my go to for good pistachio ice cream. Many pistachio ice creams have that off-putting minty/cherry flavor from almond extract. But not Bacio di latte. It's subtly sweet and creamy from the milk and wonderfully enhanced by the nutty flavor from pistachio. Does melt a little quickly than your normal ice cream, however. :)“

This location of Kreation in Beverly Hills on Santa Monica Blvd. is easily one of my favorite stops whenever I'm in the area. The shop is always spotlessly clean, and as always, the food is absolutely delicious. I give the entire experience a solid 10 out of 10!
What truly sets this location apart is the impeccable service. I've visited three times, and on two of those occasions, a young man named Alex helped me. Alex is fantastic—so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Honestly, his people skills are next level; he knows his stuff and actually got me to buy more than I needed, but I truly enjoyed the conversation!
As a manager myself, I can easily recognize high-level talent, and I honestly thought Alex was the manager of the store—he had me fooled! They are incredibly lucky to have someone as talented as Alex at this location. If you haven't been to this cute little shop on Santa Monica Blvd., you should definitely go. “I had a great experience at Fresh Brothers Pizza Beverly Hills. The pizza tasted fresh and delicious, especially the combination of cheese and toppings. The place is clean and the seating is comfortable. The staff was polite and provided quick service. If you want to have a good pizza with friends or family, you can definitely try this place.“

The interior setting is elegant and calm, with a bright, refined atmosphere that feels both upscale and comfortable. “We just happened to be in the area and I heard good things about Jade so I wanted to try this place out. There was a wonderful piano player singing while we were there. I liked her music. We happened to get there around happy hour so we got the Tokyo mule and Beverly blossom. Both were delicious. Many of the items we tried were cheaper than the dinner rush. We ordered spicy tuna crisp and the wagu Gyoza. Both were absolutely delicious. We also ordered the diamond roll which was perfect. All the flavors were amazing. We ordered the mango mochi and meringue desserts to try out after. If you havnt been to Jade yet, you have to try it out. It's a great date night spot or even a girls night out spot.“

“My wife and I recently stayed at the Beverly Wilshire for two nights during a long weekend trip to the LA area, and we really enjoyed our stay. This hotel is an iconic spot in Beverly Hills, with a long and storied history and a perfect location for seeing the area. We received a great upgrade to a suite, which made our stay even more special and comfortable, and our interactions with staff were great. There was a small billing hiccup after our stay that left a slightly negative taste, but it got resolved, so I would absolutely return to and recommend this hotel. Trip Planning: As we always do when booking a Four Seasons, we reserved through a Preferred Partner travel agent, which enabled us to get free perks (I highly recommend doing this). For no extra cost, our reservation included priority early check-in, a room upgrade based on availability, a one-time $100 hotel credit, and a breakfast credit each morning of $90, which could be used in the restaurant or for room service. The travel agent we worked with was even able to confirm a double room upgrade in advance of our arrival, which was a pleasant surprise, especially since upgrades are often not confirmed until check-in. I also appreciated that her contact at the hotel really seemed to want to make sure we got the best room possible for our needs. We had booked a Signature Balcony Room, so a double upgrade was to a Rodeo View Studio Suite. The hotel explained that the upgrade would take away our balcony, but we could keep the balcony and have more of a panoramic view of the Hollywood Hills (which they thought we might prefer), if we did a single upgrade to a BW Studio Suite instead. We agreed to that, and they assured us they would block us into one of their best rooms in that category. We ultimately got upgraded even further, but the room we had was spot-on for what was promised location and view-wise. Arrival: It can be slightly confusing to find the entrance when arriving for the first time. A lot of GPS apps will lead you to the recognizable hotel entrance on Wilshire Boulevard, which isn’t actually the main entrance for hotel guests when parking a car. There is a valet at the Wilshire entrance, and it’s a good spot to be dropped off in an Uber, but the main entrance for hotel parking is in a larger porte cochere between the two towers of the hotel, accessed off of a side street (El Camino Drive). Upon arrival at the correct spot, I was immediately greeted by Florian on the valet team, who was there during much of our stay and provided good service throughout. He welcomed me to the hotel and assisted with my luggage, assuring me that the luggage would be brought up to our room immediately if the room was ready, or as soon as possible later in the day when a room became available. I went to the front desk to check-in, and was assisted by a very friendly and professional front desk clerk. She provided a warm welcome and gave me the good news that our room was ready (before noon), and that it had been upgraded further to a one-bedroom suite, all of which was great to hear. She also provided an overview of the extra credits that were included in our room rate and how to use them. It was a great check-in experience, with the only thing missing being that there wasn’t any sort of welcome beverage offered, which is typically at least water, if not champagne, at Four Seasons hotels. After check-in, the hotel also did a great job of coordinating things to get me settled into my room. I found my way to my room and a very friendly bellman was at my room within 2 minutes after to deliver my luggage and assist with getting settled. I also appreciated that within 10 minutes after that, I received a phone call from the hotel’s Guest Experience Manager, welcoming me to the hotel and apologizing for not having been present at check-in to welcome me. It was nice to have the extra welcome and to know that there was someone I could reach out to if we had any problems. “Due to living in the neighborhood we received a coupon for a free loaf of bread. We decided to go and get breakfast this morning with the pups. The restaurant was small but there was enough space to order and get what we needed. We sat outside with the dogs and our food came right away. I got the breakfast burrito and was pleasantly surprised. It was really good and hot! I wish there was a little bit of music playing outside to set the vibe but overall I was really impressed and will be back! Thank you!“
