“I met my friend for breakfast yesterday morning at 8:30 am. Since it was so early, we were able to grab a four-top table on their patio, just outside of the open-air, stylishly beachy restaurant.

We both ordered coffees, a latte and an Americano. She had the overnight oats bowl, which looked delicious and filing, and I had the avocado toast on sourdough. So fresh and good!

The staff were very nice and friendly, and this is a great, laidback place to have breakfast.

There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant; paid parking only.

I will come back and bring my boyfriend! Great location across the street from Venice Beach, too.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“I called Slice&Pint last night to order some pizza. Since it was 9pm, the guy said that they were not taking orders anymore for whole pizzas, but it was still possible to have some slices.
I ordered some and drove there right away.
When I got there, I added some extra slices and all the staff was really nice updating my order.

We reheated pizza at home and everything was great.
We got some cacio e pepe, pepperoni and carnitas. 9 slices for about 30 bucks. Highly recommended!

“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. “Tonight we, my husband and I, with our dear friends, the Crays, dined at Tomat for the first of what will be many times. The restaurant features a dining room and a roof top patio. A welcoming, comfortable space. The staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable about all menu items. Our server Miley took excellent care of us throughout dinner and dessert. She assisted us with choosing items that would pair well with each other. She was never too busy to stop to see if everything was to our liking. She brought the chef to our table so we could let him know personally how much we enjoyed his creations. He gave us a bit of background on his plan of sustainability and creativity for his restaurant. The food was amazing. We had several appetizers. The tuna carpaccio was amazing, light and dark tuna with the freshest tomatoes. The welsh rarebit was so delicious. The weiser melon with strawberry kimchi was a delicious surprise. The house milled saffron rice was amazing. Our mains did not disappoint. The trout and chips were excellent. Everyone at the table said “best trout we have ever had”. The vegetable chips were outstanding. The vaca vieja ribeye was perfectly cooked. The pork three ways with chamoy was also perfectly cooked. Dessert was madelines, warm from the oven, with the strawberry sorbet and the saffron ice cream. All were outstanding. Overall, this was a fabulous dining experience. Great food with great service in such a comfortable atmosphere. And, we have already made reservations for next month!“

“Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in LA. My husband and I visit here 2-4 times a month. All the locations are beautiful and unique, but our favorite is Sherman Oaks. It's our home local restaurant, and the entire staff knows us and takes great care of us. It was just our 17th anniversary, and the staff made us feel so special. But then again, they always make us feel special, so we just love everything about this place. Our go-to must-haves are the chicken sliders, fries, and the little gem. And to end the meal, we order vanilla lattes, the best cake and ice cream. It's simply the best!“

“I would call this Big Dynamite. I’m a pizza snob and really enjoyed their non meat pizza. My husband loved their pepperoni. We both had the thin crust/round pizza.

Their crust is soft yet crispy. The cheese, meats, and veggies are all high quality. I would go for either a make your own pizza or one of their pre made options. It’s delicious.“
