“Tried the truffle pasta and the penne vodka pasta, along with their famous garlic fries. The truffle pasta was on the heavier side, making it a bit difficult to finish, but the flavor was decent. The penne vodka pasta was quite similar—overall fine but nothing particularly standout. The garlic fries were really good, crispy and flavorful, definitely a highlight. The ambiance and overall vibe of the place were really impressive—I absolutely loved the setting and atmosphere. Overall, a good spot to catch the sunset and grab drinks!“

“everything was great! i have 2 girls and they can never eat the same thing. so tonight one got pasta with homemade and large meatballs and the other one and i split a pizza! then we ALL enjoyed the garlic bread and yummy cinnamon knots. i have had similar eats at Dominoes and this blows them away! we will be back soon for the rest of the yummy stuff on the menu. oh, and the price was super reasonable, very good bang for your buck!“

The menu is thoughtfully crafted, with plenty of delicious options. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, and personable—always a combination I appreciate.

One thing I always check when trying a new restaurant is the condition of the restrooms. In my experience, clean bathrooms often reflect a well-run kitchen. Felix Trattoria checked that box as well.

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“I love this kind of place. Has been there forever and a hidden gem. Do not let the unassuming aesthetic dissuade you, this is very good authentic italian food and experience. Antonio is fantastic, ask for and take his reccomendations. Go with the flow here, it's relaxed but quality italian. Go somewhere else if you want bougie ambiance but mid teir italian. Wine salads dinner and deserts all excellent. If you have been to Italy you understand that modesty and relaxed environment plus excellent food and people is how it is supposed to be.“

He loved his steak and eggs, steak was Devine and I loved my chick pea soup. Always have the panne cotta and the cherry gelato and an espresso in their delightful patio and you’ve been to Italy!“

“It has the rare ability making you feel both out at a restaurant and being invited into someone’s stylish living room for dinner. Records line the shelves, music spins through the space, and every table seems to be having the exact night out they hoped for.

The crispy rice salad starts things off. Each ingredient earns its place with a honey miso dressing that threads it all together. The pizzas are outstanding. They absolutely deserve the spotlight. Thin crust perfection. Crisp edges, restrained cheese, balanced tomato sauce, exactly enough char underneath. Both the classic and pepperoni pies feel disciplined, making it dangerously easy to finish more slices than intended. For the pasta, the rigatoni bolognese brings al dente cooked pasta coated in a layered, rich meat sauce. The ratio of meat to pasta is spot on, making every bite feel substantial without becoming overly dense. Hearty but never excessive. Dessert arrives as a strawberry ricotta cheesecake that somehow feels light. Creamy ricotta filling, fresh strawberries, strawberry sauce. Not too sweet, not too rich.

Companion gets the details right. The room, the music, the pacing, the service, the food. It’s all welcoming and deeply enjoyable.“

“We frequented this sandwich shop when we were traveling in Florence and Rome. Pleasantly surprised to see they have a store in Venice and decided to give it a shot. Sandwiches here are not as good as the ones in Italy, but pretty great for what I’d expect here.

Got the l’italiana and the la schiacciata del boss. Both were good in their own way but I’d say the truffle cream in the del boss sandwich is an excellent umami boost.

Sandwich portions here are pretty big and half a sandwich is enough to fill me up!“

“Where do I start. Liz and Maggie are amazing. They made my family feel like some type of celebrity. I can’t state in this short paragraph how blown away I was by the service we received. THE BEST SERVICE, I’VE EVER RECEIVED. The drinks were excellent and the food was so good. I recommend the wagyu meatballs. The dessert was so tasty. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order here. The piano bar is a musical nice touch. I really appreciated the attention to detail on the decor of the restaurant when it came to the music. I want to give 10 stars to the owner/manager who was the highlight of our day. He made us laugh with his jokes and funny sarcasm. It felt like we were invited to his home for a delicious meal, it didn't feel like it was a restaurant! The food and the atmosphere feels like home!“

“It's a cool little spot on the side of 3rd street. If you drive too fast, you'll miss it. You have to park on the side street. It has seatings on the sidewalk as well as outside the patio, looking over the 3rd street watching the cars go by. The pastas are totally fresh. I talk to the chef, he makes it daily, but they don't over make it and let it dry overnight. They make it that day and serve it that night, the food was really great prices are totally reasonable. You can't go wrong, Alex, the waiter was super cool. Very nice. You should go check it out!“

“Delicious pasta & great tiramisu, if I could rate this place 6/5 I would.

I ordered the gnocchi with mushroom sauce and burrata, and it tasted almost homemade. The gnocchi had the perfect slightly chewy texture, and the sauce had a slight olive oil flavor to it that kicked it up a notch.

The man at the counter was also quite friendly and chatty, he said “it’s so good you’ll want it for breakfast, lunch and dinner” and I agree.“

The food is BEYOND delicious and I have had almost every single item on the menu. Never once was I dissappointed. “The foods are amazing … i had the salmon creamy pasta and i liked it so much, the salmon with cherry tomatoes are very refreshing , porcini and mushroom are the new favorites , but the black truffle was the most unforgettable one , once you taste it, it seems you are watching a classic italian movie. “Happy New Year Y’all!!🥂✨🤘🏼🥳 As many of you know I’ve been playing piano and singing at Casa Ado in Venice for the last 3.5 years, for a total of 700+ shows. There have been two paintings with me in them, a painted recording of this era of my life! It is unclear what will be happening with the restaurant going forward, as there may be some ownership change. Everyone is sort of holding their breath, and for now, music has not been included in January of 2020. There is talk it could go either way in Feb. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thank you all who have come and supported me these past few years on Washington Square and I will keep everyone posted as to what settles out in the next bit of time.
