“It was very busy observing the holiday but this staff was kicking butt. They were still friendly and kind. I forgot to ask for a receipt and they were so accommodating despite being busy. I got a cappuccino and the lox. Very yummy! Will be back!“
“Giant portions, tasty food, classic diner menu. This is really nice restaurant and a go to spot if you’re feeling like diner food. The soup and sandwich combo is perfect. Pastrami is delicious. Highly recommend this spot, just make sure you bring a big appetite!“
“The crispy chicken tacos are soooo good! & I usually don’t like hard shell tacos. The service & staff is amazing, they really take the time to make sure everything you ordered is perfect, & if it’s not they don’t hesitate to correct it.“
“It was chilly in LA so before I started my commute home I stopped in at the Coffee Bean to grab a hot cocoa for my ride. The server was super accommodating and friendly, and made the cocoa as if it were homemade. The only negative thing I have to say about the Coffee Bean, Encino would be its parking but that won't discourage me from returning. I will definitely be back.“
“The Stand in one of my favorite, casual dining places. The people are friendly and helpful beyond expectation, and I have never in perhaps 10-12 years had a single item that was prepared incorrectly or had to go back to the kitchen. A wonderful place to sit and relax and have wonderful, appealing, tasty food, served as quickly as any place in Los Angeles.“
“Despite being a Cuban food restaurant, the place immediately transports you to any other Latin city, (Caracas, Santo Domingo, San José....) it is a place with typical Cuban food, the decoration is not exquisite at all, a Informal atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable, super excellent service, super good food, it has parking. I tried meat sandwich and fried Maduro, also a delicious soursop smoothie, excellent. Others ordered Ropa Vieja Sandwich, Chicken Sandwich, empanadas and suckling pig. All very pleased with our choices. The photo I published shows my bite of the Sandwich as proof of tasting. Recommended.“
“I loved the atmosphere, and the service was great, liked the entertainment. But the food was terrible….I called the manager the next day and started with , how great the service was, liked the entertainment but when I told her that the food wasn’t good she got defensive and said I was the only person who didn’t liked the food, we were party of 4 and we ordered different dishes but none of us liked our choices…I didn’t wanted to write a review, that’s why I called first … I believe constructive criticism makes a difference but she wasn’t interested .She apologized though but I didn’t wanted an apology just to give the my honest opinion!“
“I live 30 minutes away but this is the only spot that I don't mind driving down to the valley for!!!. Each time it's as fresh and bomb as the first time I came. 5 stars for the quality and taste of the food and the kind Empolyees at the falafel truck !!!!!“
“The wait was a little bit but it was worth it. I wish I'd have taken photos of everyone's breakfast! I ordered the French Omelet - egg whites, garlic, basil, zucchini, (no tomato) and boursin cheese with hash browns and English Muffin. Absolutely delicious ? Nice presentation and all items were fresh, served hot. The coffee was flavorful and also hot. I'd highly recommend and look forward to going back and trying something else.“
“Perfect place to come on a rainy day for a big bowl of cafe au lait.I like to have the soft bolied eggs, they come with bread for dunking and a nice bowl of warm oatmeal.Today is a rainy day so it's even better. It is way more busy here than I recall. There is parking downstairs I think they validate a portion.“
“Greeted kindly from the second I walked in! The lovely ladies working there today (Wednesday) late morning/early noon made my experience worth the drive! Drove from Santa Monica to get the celebration cake at this location for my mom's birthday. I also picked up beautiful heart sparkler candles and cute mini party hats from the beautiful table set up with a variety of candles and last minute necessities for the occasion! Will definitely make the drive for the wonderful service and cake options!“
“We had a great location in the restaurant. In the very back patio. It was pouring but with 2 heaters it was very cosy. 1 of our servers was great, the other seemed to hate her job. Food was average plus, nothing special, but the ambiance made up for it“
“Finally got a sandwich from this place and it did not disappoint at all! I ordered the West Coast Burger and couldn't believe how much I loved it. Never had an egg on my burger, and it was definitely a great surprise! This place is definitely going to be a regular on my visits out to UCLA!!! OUTSTANDING!!!“
“Yum! Fresh delicious food. Service solid good. Casual dining. I recommend. Not a fancy dine in date restaurant with waitress.Parking: Moderate parking available. Parking lot. Street parking. Take out. Delivery. Dine in.Kid-friendliness: Yes.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“I originally came to this restaurant with my friend for a dinner wanting to try a different restaurant and then I brought my husband for a date night and we keep going back! We truly never knew italian food until we tried Gio's. Everything is so delicious and authentic. Tonight we had brusccheta, clams and muscles in a superb sauce, steak and seafood trio with lobster and clams and for dessert we had the tiramasu and homemade truffles with Gelato. There are no words to describe this fantastic food, cozy atmosphere and all the employees are so polite and lovely! Tonight we met Jessica who is so sweet we were so happy to find out the restaurant is family owned and operated. Chef Roberto makes the best Italian food in SoCal. We will be back for many more date nights!“
“We have been coming here for decades, back to when it was another restaurant completely. The food is generally good to great although the prices have gone up quite a bit over the past few years especially. I am sure supply chain/economy plays into this but for the quality and portion sizes compared to similar restaurants it still seems to be on the high end.The staff has been friendly over the years, the atmosphere is nice (although it has become kind of a spot where single laptop users take over 4 person tables over the years). It's a good spot that is generally not too crowded at dinner, although if I recall breakfast can be a bit more busy.Parking: The parking lot, which is no fault of this restaurant, is horrendous. It is worse than legacy Trader Joes parking lots if that means anything to you. There are many dedicated spots for this restaurant but most seem to be used by patrons of other shops within this parking lot. The restaurant can have two people inside and all of their "dedicated spots" will be full.“
“Being from Chicago and living in California has been really hard to find pizza we like, this restaurant has amazing pizza. It's not Chicago style. It's, its own Persian /Italian style and it's amazing every single seasoning and spice you can taste all the flavor comes through the food every-time we've come here we've loved every single thing we've gotten the staff has amazing service! the flatbread is, incredible beyond words.“
“I tried out the hamburger combo with the onion rings and paid almost $20 (normal beach prices). Good portion of onion rings, which were not freshly made, but still warm. The burger was a grilled patty on a plain bun--not bad, but not outstanding. I'd try the sandwiches. They do have a freestyle soda machine, so you can mix up your own flavor, which is a plus. Service is cheerful and quick, and the interior is tidy. They do serve a few beers/Truly. There are big screen TVs that I'm sure you can watch the game/fight on.Vegetarian options: They serve impossible burgers, a falafel sandwich, and a salad wrap.Parking: Street parking varies, as it's on Washington Blvd near the beach. There's a paid lot on the beach.“
“I really love phillys best because the cheesesteak is always fresh and good quality. The interior is very cool because there is so many Philadelphian decorations. The service is great and my food always comes in less than ten minutes. If your looking for a quality cheesesteak come here!“
“This was my first time visiting MTWs, it was recommended by a colleague. Our server was knowledgeable and very friendly. The food delicious! Eggs s cooked to perfection, waffles light & tasty. I had the peanut butter chocolate waffle (1/2) with eggs, breakfast potatoes and ham. I can't wait to introduce MTWs to my friends.“
