“Without a doubt, this is our favorite Russian/Ukrainian grocery store in Los Angeles! We drove a long way just to shop here, and it was absolutely worth it.
The selection is incredible—you can find almost everything from Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. It brought back so many memories! We ended up spending almost $800 because there were so many amazing products we wanted to take home.
We bought red and black caviar, fresh homemade meals, dairy products, kefir, pomegranate juice, ice cream, snacks, and so many other authentic products. Everything was fresh, high quality, and delicious.
The homemade food is outstanding. We especially loved the Ukrainian borscht, Uzbek plov, beef stroganoff, stuffed cabbage rolls (golubtsy), chicken kabobs, lamb chops, syrniki, crepes, Olivier salad, and homemade pastries. It honestly tastes like real homemade cooking.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. The store is clean, well organized, and fully stocked with authentic products that are very difficult to find anywhere else.
If you’re looking for authentic Eastern European, Russian, Ukrainian, or Georgian food, this is the place to visit. We highly recommend this store and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for such an amazing shopping experience!“

“All wraps and burgers can be done in a gluten free wrap if needed. Make sure to ask. I have ciliac so gluten is a big no for me. Honestly, this place surprised me. I came with a group of friends and didnt expect to be able to eat much. Sean, I believe, went above and beyond in helping me out and explaining that they could do whatever is on the menu in a gluten wrap so I had more options. Been years since I've been here but I'll be back for sure. Also, gotta love a place that still believes in good size portions. Always nice to be able to take some home if I want. But check out their menu, they have great flavors in all the categories really. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Water mister on the patio area during the hot days. Would recommend of course.“

“It was bustling when we got there! A large line near the deli cases. You grab a ticket number and wait for them to call out your number and then you can order.
The guy at the counter was super nice. We got the godmother sandwich and grabbed some drinks, chips and pasta salad from the cold case.

The bread was so good. Chewy outside, fluffy inside. The peppers were really yummy too. I’m so sad we don’t have anything like this where I live 😭

“I had the Pastrami Sandwich. I believe it’s called Noi sandwich. It is the best of this kind I’ve had. I have had a lot. The meat has great taste without being salty and the unique way they slice the meat makes a great difference.
The Noodle Koogle is delicious as well. Not overly sweet creamy inside which crunchy noodle bits on top.“

The food was good with generous portions. It was a bit loud in there as there was a party going on in the private dining room and a soccer team that came in around the same time. While there are many good bagel places in the city, this has the best bagel quality and value in my opinion. They do everything, from bagel with shmear and lox to BEC and even pizza, all for an affordable price. Highlight is the sandwich combo which is a fat bagel sandwich and a combo. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. “I was waiting for about 6 minutes before another customer came in and was immediately seated. Then another customer came in and was also seated. I then walked to the front and the couple behind me was seated. Finally a waiter sat me b3cause the host was totally blind to a single diner.

The sandwiches are great. I'm not a huge fan of fatty meats so I know what not to order (brisket x pastrami club) next time but it tasted very good.

The atmosphere is like an empty Dennys with not enough waiters or servers but a small lunch rush. I just wanted to eat and get out of there as soon as possible.“
