“This has been my go-to place since I was a little girl! For over 30 years I enjoy their perfectly consistent soups, sandwiches, and incredible take-home salads. In all honesty, they have the best tuna salad in LA, and I am obsessed! So, in short, don't miss this family owned gem! You will thank me.“
“Gotta try the Shakshoaka! Never had it before and it was certainly one of my favorite breakfast/brunch items ever! Conveniently located next to parking structure and walking distance to the infamous Beverly Hills park and other destinations nearby. The service was exceptional ? and food variety to satisfy all your family members and friends cravings ?“
“Heard it gets busy but it was not too busy for Monday lunch rush. Ordered a number 1 and could not finish it despite being super yummy. Mom and Pop dinner feel and the service was excellent and attentive. This is definitely a special treat sandwich when you're dying for some meat. Will definitely go back.Dietary restrictions: Had lots of dairy-free options which was a bonus.“
“Easy to miss, though from the reviews, it seems like few actually pass it by.On lunch break from rehearsal nearby, I had the feta, tomato, and basil toasted sandwich, which was perfect. Outdoor seating was quite welcome, as it's kinda warm and stuffy inside the store.“
“What a neighborhood gem! A great little store with a good deli counter, a nice selection of candy and basic grocery items. It's got a nice relaxed vibe, friendly staff and a beautiful back patio and a pizza oven setup! Will definitely be coming back with friends for pizza night.“
“A favorite of mine. Beautiful, thoughtfully crafted and big wide open space with indoor and outdoor dining.Great staff. I love the groceries they carry along with the natural wine corner. There's an awesome book aisle as well. But the food...consistent and delicious.Pizza, burgers, short rib plates, wings, salad, breakfast burritos...SO TASTY!They have coffee, ice cream, beer, wine, etc.“
“Meals and memories are made here at Bianca’s deli. Bianca’s deli (est 1983) is a small Mediterranean deli cafe in East Hollywood. They serve fresh, healthy salads, wraps, sandwiches, panini and pasta. Furthermore, they offer good breakfast and coffee. They provide exceptional service and food. I came here over Lunch and ordered a Grilled chicken salad and a Pasta Primavera. Food was fresh and satisfying; portions were abundant for their modest price. Staff were assiduous, caring and professional.Overall, I enjoyed their service and food. I highly recommend this deli.“
“Yes please! I've loved this place since my parents moved to Tarzana in 1985. For some reason I'm stuck on the salami wrap. I rarely waver. Always get that, some stuffed grape leaves (which are to die for), a bag of chips and a drink and that's my idea of a perfect lunch. They have three or four tables if you just can't wait to get it home. Lots of fun, interesting Armenian groceries as well. Everyone who works behind the counter is super friendly and the sandwiches come out before you know it. A Tarzana classic for many decades!“
“This place stays busy around lunchtime. So I suggest placing your order by phone if you don't like to stand in line. The cashiers are friendly and take orders fast. The place is neat and very clean. They have a huge variety of drinks, chips and dessert. The prices are along oar with every other deli. They have a nice variety of sandwiches. If you want a salad they make them fresh. They have a wide variety of bread and ingredients you can add to your sandwich. They also have hamburgers, turkey burgers and fries. You can order your sandwich hot or cold. The food tastes really good.“
“Food quality and customer service are the best aspects of this deli. I saw how the staff treat their customers with respect and kindness. The food is so delicious, and the value is unbeatable. The signature Philly Pastrami Cheese Steak sandwich is a heavy hitting culinary masterpiece balancing the savory meats and melted cheese with the crisp green lettuce and tomatoes.I have been waiting too long to return and try their calzone the size of your head! No kidding, it has to be hands down the best place for a calzone, preferably their chicken pesto calzone. Their menu is immense, and could spend years trying out all their food.If you are in Los Angeles North Hollywood area, Roma Deli does not disappoint the hungriest foodie.“
“I was looking for a deli in Encino to go to after my doctor's appointment, Uncle Bernie's DID NOT disappointment! I had THE BEST Monte Cristo sandwich! I also had exceptional potato pancakes. My husband loved his Maria burrito. A fine example of a New York deli.Parking: I was here at noon on a Thursday. There was ample parking, but shares with other businesses.“
“Tucked away on the western side of Vine Street, just below Fountain Ave, resides The Vine Street Deli. With dozens of choices between entrée, sandwiches, coffees, teas, smoothies, and more, I decided to go for a goat cheese and chicken sandwich and an eggplant dip as starter. Both of them were phenomenal dishes. I ate and cleaned and scraped the bottom of the plates to savor those rich flavors one more time. Not only was my hunger more than satiated, but I was left satisfied, and elated of the foods I just consumed. The lady working, which I assume was the owner of the place, was kind and welcoming. The warm lights, wooden staircase, loft, and furniture, give the place a relaxing, charming, and quite atmosphere. This was my first time there, but it surely won't be the last.“
“We made a quick trip to LA and someone suggested Fat Sal’s Deli for lunch. Oh. My. GADS! It was so good! The servers and the cooks were so amazing, friendly and engaging. We had a great time and I definitely recommend this great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner!“
“This is my go-to place for anything related to Italian cuisine. Any authentic Italian ingredient; they will have. Also, their lasagna might the best I've had in LA. I'm from NYC, and place makes me feel like I'm Little Italy in Manhattan.“
“Tasty Banh Mis. I always get the sardine along with either the pork or chicken. All made fresh to order. They include a small au jus of the specific Banh Mi you order-nice touch. ? Parking is a challenge since it right on Hyperion so if you see a spot, take it.“
“I've been wanting to come here since I work up the street and yay!! So glad I did! My go to lunch spot. I can't wait to try out all the cool chips! The lady at the front is super attentive and quick and the sandwich guy is nice and cute :) thanks guys!!“
“There aren't many sub shops/deli's in LA. As someone from NJ, I've missed having local sub/sandwich shops all around me. Found this place today, and it's my new favorite local sub shop. The owners are very friendly, the food is authentic and well priced, and the service is quick. I will definitely be coming back to try the salads. If you're in the area and looking for an East Coast style sub, please support these lovely people!“
“Canter’s Deli is an LA classic and a must visit for anyone who loves that old school deli feel. All the staples are on the menu and the old timey look of the inside rounds out the experience. Food is very solid if not a bit overpriced. Bakery is by weight for a lot of items so expect to pay more than you think. Parking is free in the lot next to the building if you are eating. Service isn’t the best on most of our visits, but the people watching makes up for it!“
“Stopped here for breakfast while I'm at Saint Josephs Hospital. I liked the food, it was tasty. What I liked most about the place was the friendliness, my English is not very good and I appreciate when they make an effort to understand me in Spanish.“
“I chose this out of the many that are down Pico because of the ratings. Also it was Yom Kippur so a few of them were closed for the holiday. Carvery had sandwiches but more importantly the french dip feature that I was interested in trying. While I stuck with the corn beef brisket, my girlfriend had a turkey wrap, and the two of us shared chips together. Its a small place but the guys working there bring everything out to you. I would go back and try something else again in the future.“
“One of the best bagel/lox platters I've had on either coast. Cozy environment, clean surfaces and very good coffee. Can only speak to breakfast but the breakfast sandwich and waffle my party also ordered were all excellent. Not too busy at 8am on a Monday - a great experience and I will be happy to return and test their lunch/dinner options.Parking: Shopping center with 3 hour limit but plenty of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Cozy booths, good sized kids menu.“
“Delicious! Perfectly balanced sandwich, the bagel itself was so soft! We got the smoked salmon on cheese and jalapeño bagel. I had never tasted a bagel that didn't feel a bit dense. It was perfection. Don't turn away when you see the long line! It's worth it and The staff is amazing, friendly and attentive, they also have a real sense of urgency to get your order out asap. Will be back again! No picture because it was too damn good to pause to take one!“
“So I finally found this place that was recommended to me. I got a breakfast burrito and it was delicious. The flavors were amazing and staff and service was quick. When i got there it was a handful of ppl but the most I waited was like 10 mins so it wasn't bad. It's a cool lil spot and I will most definitely become a regular when am in the area. Thank you guys and see you again soon..“
“Literally the best pastrami sandwich I've ever eaten. Hands down beats anything else you'll try in LA. Ask for the Papa the next time you're there and you'll be in sandwich bliss for the remainder of the day. Seriously delicious!“
“I'm always able to find fresh produce, friendly cashiers, overall clean store, and good food. A few of the employees can be replaced with friendlier and more approachable employees. Bakery items are most always great, BBQ meet fresh, and wonderful to go food.“
“I've been dining here for many years and it's the atmosphere of this old school diner that keeps bringing me back. Don't get me wrong, the pastrami is excellent, the french fries are very good (sometimes excellent) and the coleslaw is tasty (these three menu items combined make up their "Johnny's Deluxe Pastrami Plate")Outdoor seating is great but I always prefer sitting in an old booth next to the window.“
“We were very happy we stopped in for lunch. The chopped liver appetizer and the tongue and pastrami sandwich were fantastic. The matzo ball soup was somewhat disappointing (but I am somewhat spoiled with a lifetime of fantastic, homemade soup) that had a ridiculously humongous matzo ball. The "light lunch for one" combo was enough food for an entire day and anything but light!“
“I’ve been going to this store for a while now and it never disappoints! The most amazing variety of fresh food and bakery. They have delicious cakes too!The owners are two sisters from Mariupol and the store is pro Ukrainian not like a lot of neighborhood “Eastern European” stores so if you want to show support, shop here! Stuff is always nice and helpful! And try their delicious borsch ?Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options, my husband is vegan and he likes couple of Theo salads and their vegan borsch!“
“This place has a new owner and they are upgrading. The sandwich’s are excellent and a lot bigger than before but is still the same price as before. Also if you need iPhone or Samsung chargers, this is the place to go. This place is 100% convenient. Also the hours have changed. Everyday the hours are 8am-10pm Mon-Sat and Sun 8am-9pm.“
“This place is not about atmosphere, although they do have a cute sitting area. I gave them 5 for atmosphere because I didn’t want them to get lower rating. We just love their sandwiches; always fresh meats but most widely known secret of theirs is….their bread! They make it a couple minutes before they prepare their sandwiches. Have to order at least once a month!Parking: Park in the back“
“I remember coming in here with my Savta every Thursday to help her pick up fresh food/produce for Shabbat dinner. Those are some of the greatest & fondest memories that I have of & with My Savta.!Please, If you have never been here before, just give them a try, if you do not like them, then, by all means, go some place else.*NEVER let any opportunity pass you by.*“
“Been coming here for a few years. Great spot and affordable. We usually get a breakfast plate, stack of pancakes, two coffees and one OJ for around $35. Not bad and food is hot, delicious and at our table in five minutes. Diner vibes with nice people.“
“Finally got a sandwich from this place and it did not disappoint at all! I ordered the West Coast Burger and couldn't believe how much I loved it. Never had an egg on my burger, and it was definitely a great surprise! This place is definitely going to be a regular on my visits out to UCLA!!! OUTSTANDING!!!“
“I ordered to go on this particular visit and my food was ready at the time promised ! Their Lotto machine was fully functioning as an added bonus and as such I made a small donation . My only issue is the baby size of the side dish the macaroni salad - it was the size of a sample you'd get in a supermarket. Other than that the tuna melt itself was very tasty. I'll be back soon.“
“I recommend 100%Our servers were friendly and smiling. They even made an effort to take the order in French. The apple cinnamon tart is excellent and the iced latte and ice tea are very good (Be careful, it's a real tea without sugar.)The waiter was really very nice, offering me a second coffee that he had left over. The portions are very generous.“
