“I grew up in this area 68 years ago and now live out of State. My family has a nearby home. While visiting, we stumbled on the Heights and they are the bomb! 5 stars hands down! They have excellent sandwiches among other great dishes. The sandwich rolls are the most delicious crispy French bread you ever had! They don't skimp on the sandwich contents no matter which one you choose. Oscar provides outstanding counter service and even let's me change out a few ingredients at no additional charge! Ignore any line, this place is worth any wait.

“So happy we stopped by O Banh Mi for some delicious banh mi for a late to-go lunch while visiting Silver Lake! The lemongrass chicken and beef banh mi sandwiches were flavorful, fresh, and swiftly prepared, but what I really enjoyed was chatting with the owner, Natalie, who was so friendly and kind to me and my toddler. Vietnamese coffee was also perfect. We can't wait to return on our next trip back to LA!“

“This place is a hidden gem!!! I love the fact that they are bold about their Christian faith and yet they don’t force it on customers. In fact, they’ve never verbally mentioned it besides the decor!

The food is made fresh and I really loved the juice and coffee. Also, the staff works hard. they’re typically one or two people in there. And they are so nice!

The only thing I don’t love, which is completely out of their control… Is the parking lot. There’s lots of potholes but again that is out of their control. Other than that, this place is amazing and I love coming here!!!“

“Such a fun hidden gem! Jeff’s Table is tucked into the back of a liquor store in Highland Park, and the sandwich absolutely lived up to the hype. I got the Jubano, their take on a Cuban, and it was packed with smoked pork, pastrami, cheese, pickles, mustard and aioli. Everything was so flavorful and perfectly balanced. Definitely worth seeking out!“

“I had the Pastrami Sandwich. I believe it’s called Noi sandwich. It is the best of this kind I’ve had. I have had a lot. The meat has great taste without being salty and the unique way they slice the meat makes a great difference.
The Noodle Koogle is delicious as well. Not overly sweet creamy inside which crunchy noodle bits on top.“

While there are many good bagel places in the city, this has the best bagel quality and value in my opinion. They do everything, from bagel with shmear and lox to BEC and even pizza, all for an affordable price. Highlight is the sandwich combo which is a fat bagel sandwich and a combo. It's my go to for a filling breakfast for a long day!“

“This has to be one of the best eats in all of Downtown Los Angeles. I've been coming here with my grandparents since I was 6, at 21 now, the quality and consistency of their food hasn't changed. The price point for their shawarma plate falls at around $26 but it can be shared between 2 people, and the taste makes it worth more than spending much less on lower quality foods. They don't perform for anyone, the food is reminiscent of Greek or Lebanese street food, and you'll always feel like you're at home here at St. Vincent's Deli.
Their meat is incredibly well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and juicy. The salad is crisp and refreshing. Be sure to get some of their Ashta after your meal.

“They have the best selection in food not only is the food there fresh but they also have a very good selection in healthy foods. They also have homemade recipes in traditional cuisine. The food is very GOOD and I love all of their healthy hot dishes, pasta salads, panini sandwiches and more. The people working there are very nice. Everyday they have different homemade soups.“

“I tried this place for lunch since I was looking for something new that also wasn't so heavy like other items around the area are. I chose this place because the of the reviews and also their menu. It seems all over the place since it goes from wraps, to sandwiches, sushi rolls, poke, smoothies, ice blended drinks, and even boba!

I ordered the chicken wrap for lunch and chose a side of potato salad. You have three options, which are fries, salad or potato salad. I'll try the other two the next time, maybe with a sandwich. The chicken wrap, I assumed, I was going to receive cold. To my surprise it was warm and that's because it comes with freshly grilled chicken. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and surrounded by crisp veggies. It also had like a ranch sauce or caesar dressing sauce or similar. But it all worked out well together.

The potato salad was just okay, and it was nothing amazing. It had a decent flavor. Personally, I would not order this item again as it could have been better.

The ice blended coffee was great. Exactly what I had expected from an ice blended beverage. Nothing amazing and I would order it again, but this time in a larger size for me.

Overall, this place was much better than I had expected, and it does deserve it's rating as the food was packaged neatly, looked great and tasted great. I will definitely be coming back to this place to try their other items. The place is nice and the prices are more than fair and inexpensive.“
